Bright and happy, Ash stepped onto Route 202 to begin something she never really thought about doing: actually becoming a pokemon trainer. She could almost see it now... holding a large, golden cup high in the air, crowning her the champion and the greatest trainer of all. That would be something great to put in her careless parents' faces.

Eddy was acting like a little kid like he should've been. He was excited to travel the world for some special purpose and to watch his older sister in action. Ash really liked having a younger brother that looked up to her like this. She almost considered herself a parent to him only because his real ones couldn't. In her opinion, they didn't deserve anything for the way they treated her younger brother all the time.

"Yeah, I guess it is exciting, but pokemon trainers are supposed to be serious," Ash informed her dancing brother. "See the champion dancing around ever?"

"Well, those trainers on tv always look excited when they win," Eddy responded.

"Yeah I- sure I guess that's true," Ash said.

The was a moment of silence in the air. "So... what should we do first?" Eddy asked after a few seconds.

Ash stopped and faced her brother. "Well, it would be best if we caught a wild pokemon. That way, I'll have more pokemon on my team. Either that, or I can train Riolu and make him stronger."

"Please, let's look around for a pokemon," Eddy pleaded. "I would love to have some more with us."

"Your wish is my command," Ash said with a grin. She stood up tall and walked for a few steps, but then stopped and turned around to face Eddy. "Umm, you're going to have to help me," she said. Truthfully, she had no idea how to find a wild pokemon, or if you were supposed to even look for one. Maybe they just came to you.

"Sure!" Eddy happily replied. He took off and began to look around for any sort of new friend to add to the team. Ash took off after him and searched too. They both looked through the bushes and through the fields for a while without any luck at all.

Eddy lost his kiddiness enthusiasm. He fell on his butt on the floor and sighed. "I change my mind. This really stinks," he said.

Ash smiled. "Fine then. Want to have a lunch break?"

Eddy grinned and pulled the bag off of his back. It was filled with all the food the professor bought for them. Ash pulled out a loaf of bread and a large can filled with something that looked like beef stew. "Here, we can half this. Just note that we need to preserve this as much as possible." Ash snapped open the can and ripped the bread in half. She handed one half of the loaf and the can of stew over to Eddy.

Eddy didn't hesitate in grabbing the food. Tilting the can over, he dumped half the can onto the bread. He handed the can back over to Ash before stuffing his face.

Ash looked at him disgusted and put down her food in order to get Riolu's pokeball. But then, as she reached over, something zipped past Ash. Ash whipped back around alarmed and saw a small bird up ahead of her chowing down on her lunch.

Furious, Ash pulled Riolu's pokeball and faced the bird. The bird looked happily at her and continued to eat. "You little pest," Ash growled. "Think you can steal my lunch and get away with it. No way. Riolu, let's teach this thing a lesson." Ash threw the pokeball and her Riolu appeared.

Ash turned around and looked at Eddy. "Today is you lucky day, little brother. Just watch," Ash said extremely darkly. Eddy was too shocked to speak and watched the battle while continueng to eat.

"Riolu, use quick attack!" Ash shouted. Riolu zipped towards the bird. It did the exact same attack to avoid Riolu. Ash looked at the scene frustrated and held her hand up again. "Riolu, do it again!" Riolu tried to zip towards the bird again, but this time it growled at him, making him slow down his attack and then slammed into him, hard.

Ash didn't know what to do. Quick Attack was Riolu's only physical attack. But when she thought about it, it wasn't his only attack. "Riolu, we're just going to wait for our little theif to make a move," she said.

The bird pokemon didn't look like it was ready to budge anytime soon. It sat and stared at Riolu without making a sound. Ash suddenly came up with an idea to lure the bird pokemon. Bending down, she snatched Eddy's beef stew bread and handed it to Riolu.

Riolu began to dance around with the bread in his hands, waving it in the air and dancing around in circles with it. Ash saw the bird pokemon cringing. She knew it wanted it bad. Riolu then made the pokemon snap when it took a big bite out of the bread. It looked at Riolu angrily and began to charge.

"Riolu, use endure!" Ash shouted. Riolu waited for the bird pokemon to attack and then repeled it back when it slammed into him. "Now, quick attack!" Ash shouted. The bird pokemon was still stunned, so it didn't see Riolu's attack coming. He slammed into the bird pokemon hard, making it collapse on the ground.

Ash grinned and pulled out a pokeball. She threw it at the bird pokemon. The ball sucked it in completely and began to wiggle back and forth. Would Ash capture her first pokemon?

ooc: This pokemon would be Starly if you didn't know ^^

Ash waited for the pokeball to either stop or open back up anxiously. Riolu watched as well with the bread in his hand. After a few moments, the ball stopped and the red light in the middle dimmed.

Grinning, Ash walked over and picked up the ball. "Hah, take that, you little thief," she mumbled with a huge smirk on her face. She looked at the ball that was glimmering in the sun. Ash looked at it and smiled, knowing that this was her first step to becoming the best. She immediatly opened up the ball and let out her new bird pokemon. It happily came out and settled onto Ash's shoulder.

Riolu walked over and tried to hand the bread back over to Eddy. Eddy looked at it disgusted and pushed it back. "Umm, it's okay, you can have it," he said. Riolu happily took it back and began to munch on it.

"You can help eat that disgusting beef bread," Ash said to her little bird pokemon. It happily raced over there and helped Riolu eat the bread.

As the two were eating, Ash pulled out her pokedex and pointed it at her new pokemon.

Starly, the Starling Pokemon, read Ash's new device. They flock in great numbers. Though small, they flock their wings with great power.

"Starly is your name, huh?" Ash said while stuffing the pokedex back in her pocket. "And by the looks of it, you use most of that "Great Power" to get you dinner. I respect that." Ash paused and then looked at Starly straight in the eye. "But don't steal my dinner again, got it?"

Starly smiled and continued to eat. After a few minutes, Ash and Eddy packed up and continued down the road. They walked for a few moments before a small trainer that looked a little older than Eddy stepped in front of them. He was wearing nothing but green camper clothes and was holding a pokeball in Ash's face.

"Hey, pretty, wanna battle?" the kid asked. "We can do a double battle, two v two."

"Sure kid, as long as you never say that again," Ash said. She pulled out two pokeballs and threw them in the air. Both Starly and Riolu appeared.

The kid threw two pokeballs also and two pokemon that looked like a mouse and beaver put together without any tails appeared. The most visible thing about them to Ash was their large buck teeth. Ash pulled out her pokedex and pointed it at the new pokemon.

Bidoof, the Plump Mouse pokemon, read the pokedex. With nerves of steel, nothing can perturb it. It is more agile and active than it appears.

"Don't look like anything to me," Ash mumbled while putting the pokedex back again. She held her hand up to deliver the first command. "Starly, use tackle, and Riolu, use quick attack!"

Both of Ash's pokemon took off after the two Bidoof. The little kid chuckled and held his hand up. "That's nothing. Barry, use growl to slow down Riolu, and Betty, dodge Starly!"

"Who the hell are Barry and Betty?!" Ash shouted. She watched as both of the kid's pokemon carried out their orders. One of the Bidoof dodged Starly's attack while the other growled loudly to slow down Riolu.

"They're my pokemon's names, alright. Betty, now attack Riolu while it is slowed down!" The Bidoof called Betty slammed hard into Riolu making him tumble to the side. Riolu managed to stand up again and leaped next to Starly, waiting for Ash's orders.

Never heard of actually naming your pokemon, Ash thought. She then figured there were more important things to think about. She had a way to get close to these kids two pokemon. "Riolu, use quick attack! Starly, get next to Riolu and fly next to him!"

Riolu zipped off towards the two pokemon with Starly close by.

"Argh, don't let them get close to you! Barry, use growl to slow them down!"

"Quick, Starly attack with tackle before "Barry" uses growl!" Ash shouted. Starly slammed hard into the Bidoof, making it fly backwards and cancel its attack leaving the other Bidoof wide open for Riolu. He slammed hard into "Betty" making it fall next Barry.

The kid looked extremely frustrated from the last move and clenched his fists tight. "Both of you guys use tackle! Use all of your force against her pokemon!" Both of the Bidoof charged and got closer and closer by the second. Ash had to think quick on how to stop these two pokemon. She then suddenly thought of an idea.

"Riolu, use endure, and Starly, get behind Riolu and use him as a shield!" Riolu braced his body while Starly flew behind and covered himself. The Bidoofs slammed hard into Riolu, and it almost looked like Riolu couldn't handle the attack. "Starly, use growl to weaken their attack!" Ash shouted desperately. Starly let out a growl that sounded more like a screech. It hit both of the pokemon and weakened them. Riolu cried out and made both of the pokemon bounce off of him.

Ash grinned at her two pokemon. "Great job, guys!" she shouted. "Now, finish it with a tackle and quick attack!" Both of Ash's pokemon nodded and rushed towards the two down Bidoof. They both slammed hard, making both of the Bidoof collapse.

The kid sighed and called back both of his pokemon. He walked over and shook Ash's hand. "Good battle, he said.

"You too," responded Ash. She released her hand from his and found something in the palm of hers. It was a wad of cash.

"Yu- you mean you get money when you win battles?" Ash said as she looked incredulously at the money.

"Uh yeah," responded the kid. He looked at Ash like she was crazy.

Ash grinned. "Sweet!" she shouted. She took off happily, leaving the kid, and her little brother, in the dust.

Chapter 3: First Battle!
Bobby, Munchlax, and the newly captered Shinx were on the final legs of their journey to Jubilife City. Night was falling and Bobby wanted to get there before it was dark. "C'mon guys!" Bobby encourged. Shinx was keeping with Bobby but Munchlax was a few paces behind.

Suddenly a trainer stepped out in front of them. It was a boy a few years younger than Bobby and hea had a blue baseball cap on, a red shirt, and blue shorts. "Hey you with the Shinx!" the boy yelled to Bobby.

"Yeah? What is it?" Bobby asked, impaient.

Bobby was torn. While he never had a battle before, he wanted to try it out. But he also wanted to get to Jubilife before night fell. Eventually he decided sleep could wait. "You're on!" Bobby cried, "My names Bobby by the way."

"My name's Cale." The boy said. "And this is Starly!" Cale threw out a bird Pokemon that Bobby had seen flying in the sky awhile ago. Taking out his Pokedex, Bobby pointed it at Starly.

"Starly, the Starling Pokemon," the female voice said. "They flock in great numbers. Though small, they flap their wings with great power."

"Allright Shinx get in there!" Bobby yelled as he put the Pokedex away.

"Shinx!" Shinx cried as she lept into battle. Bobby ordered a Tackle and Shinx lept in the air with surprising speed.

"Starly!" Cale cried as Shinx's Tackle was a direct hit. "We need to **** that kitty down Starly! Use a Quick Attack!" Cale roared. Starly became a blur as it strucked Shinx.

"Kitty?!" Bobby cried with outrage. "Shinx show that bird you arn't a kitty..." With a roar Shinx threw a huge Tackle at the Starly this time hitting it on the head. With a cry Starly fell from the sky unconsious. "Allright! Good job Shinx!" Bobby said happily.

Grumbling Cale returned Starly. "You may have defeated Starly, but there is no way you will be able to defeat Bidoof!" he said full of confidence.

Cale sent out a beaver life pokemon. Bobby pulled out his Pokedex out again and pointed it at the brown again. "Bidoof, the Plump Mouse Pokemon. With nerves of steel, nothing can perturb it. It is more agile and active than it appears."

Noticing that Shinx was looking was looking tired Bobby said "OK Shinx come back! Munchlax lets go!" After a few minutes of posing Bobby looked around for the Big Eater Pokemon. Munchlax was at a nearby bush getting ready to tuck in to a meal of Oran Berries. However that meal was cut short when Cale's Bidoof chomped them all down in one bite.

"Munch...Munch...Munchlax!!!!" Munchlax roared as he slowly realized what had happened. With a roar Munchlax jumped into the fray, fire blazing in his eyes.

"Uhhhh.....Ok." Bobby said a little dazed as to what just happened.

Cale however wasn't. "Bidoof use a Headbutt!" he cried, eager to take advantage of the situation.

"BiBiBiBiBiBiBi!!!!" Bidoof cried as he charged at Munchlax head first. However instead of the expected of Munchlax being thrown throught the air, Bidoof was stopped dead in his tracks by Munchlax's big belly.

With a roar Munchlax grabbed Bidoof and shook it back and forth repeadtedly. "Bi! Bi! Bi!" Bidoof cried at the force of Munchlax's strength.

"Munch....lax!" Munchlax cried as he threw Bidoof into the ground with such force that force threw Munchlax into the air.

"Bidoof get up!" Cale ordered. Bidoof tryed. He really did. But the force of Munchlax's face plant had made Bidoof's feet stick in the ground.

As Bidoof tryed to get out of the ground, a shadow fell over it. Looking up Bidoof saw Munchlax coming down from the air. Bobby saw this too and immediatly thought of a plan. "Munchlax use Defence Curl!" Munchlax curled into a ball by eating his legs and began to pick up speed.

"BIBIBIBIBIBIBIBI!!!!!" Bidoof yelled as he realized what was going to happen. Munchlax came crashing down on Bidoof causing the Plump Mouse Pokemon to be thrown from its earthy prison.

When everything was finally still, Clae and Bobby saw that Bidoof was uncounsious and Munchlax had faound another Oran Berry bush. With a grumble forked over the cash prize and with a smile Bobby returned Shinx to his Pokeball and tore Munchlax away form his lunch (this took a while.) and walked the last few feet into Jubilife City.

@Pika_Master414: That was a good battle. Riolu grew to Level 6, Riolu learned Counter.
Starly grew to Level 5, Starly learned Quick Attack.

@Zimvee: lol! I loved where Bidoof stole Munchlax's meal. Munchlax grew to Level 6.
Shinx grew to Level 4.

Chapter 3: Jubilife City
Number of posts: 1

Jubilife City is the place for technology geeks to gather with the T.V. Station, the Poketch factory, a Contest hall(Closed for renovations), and the GTS Building which has closed down for unknown reasons. This place is the first stop in your career, but what are those shady guys doing outside of the T.V. Station?

Objectives: Get a Poketch, and go to the Pokemon Center, of course, your character can sightsee, and buy items too, but have only one post. It is late evening in the RP.

Remember these rules in a city, unless I say otherwise. You can't catch Pokemon, and you can't battle other trainers.

Pokemart: Potion, Poke Ball, Antidote, Paralyze Heal

Only one more person has to make it to Jubilife, then I can post the event. At the time of this post.

GamerNeko, you can come in as soon as you are ready.

OOC: Rubii, I am so sorry to have made such an inconvinence, but I'm going to have to drop out, it's just that I wanted to make another RPG so I want to focus on that more, I wish this RPG the best of luck :[

I am so sorry but because this RP don´t progress and it is kinda stuck I will drop off if you don´t mind that...

Maya yawned as she looked at the tv in her room, which showed two business-like men chatting with each other, along with a few scenes from various Pokemon contests. Her gaze drifted to Mimi, who was laying down next to Maya on the soft, fluffy pink bed they shared. Slowly one hand stroked the soft brown fur on Mimi's head. "I just feel like I need something more, you know?" Maya spoke softly to her Eevee as she continued stroking her fur. "I feel there is something out there.. Just waiting for me to make the first move." She turned her attention back to the tv set again and yawned. Mimi yawned too.

"Man, I'm bored." Maya said. Her and Mimi made eye contact for a split second. "Hey, you wanna go shopping, Mimi?"

Apparently, that had caught Mimi's attention. Her ears perked and she sat up straight and let out a happy sounding "Ui!"

Maya giggled softly. "Well ok then, it's settled. Off to the stores for us!" With that said, Maya got up slowly from the bed and headed down stairs with Mimi trotting happily at her heel.

"Mom we're going out, kay?" Maya said as she grabbed her small pink purse and headed for the front door where her shoes lay.

Maya's mother looked up from the book she was reading on the chair in the small living room they had. "Don't you think it's a little late to be shopping?" She asked.
"Naw mom, it's fine! Me and Mims are bored anyway." Looking down for a moment, she slipped on her flip flops and opened the front door.

"Well, if you say so." Her mother sighed as she turned her attention back to the book she was reading about the different grooming styles of Pokemon.

~*~*~**~*~*~*~*~*~*

Maya and Mimi walked down the sidewalk of the road they lived on, passing the salon her parents owned on the way.

"Going out, Maya?" Her dad asked as he poked his head out the opening of the salon.

"Yeah Mims and I are bored, so we decided to do a bit of shopping."

"Well that's fine, just don't stay out too late, k?"

"Ok!" Maya smiled at him and continued walking on towards the center of Jubilife City. Bright street lights high above their heads shone down on them. As they walked further in, the city slowly came to life. Cars honked, business signs lit up, and people with no lives walked down the block. Mimi jumped up onto Maya's shoulder as the crowd got thicker.

"Huh? What's.." Maya turned her head to a suspicious looking group of people on the sidewalk across the street in front of the tv station. Her view was immediately blocked out by people walking around her. "That's…weird."

"Ui?" Eevee's blue eyes gazed to the direction where the suspicious group stood. Her ears perked, but that was all. Her and Maya quickly brushed it off and continued walking to the store...

Chapter 4: Finally! Jubilife City!
Night was falling as Bobby and his Pokemon stummbled into Jubilife City. "I'm so hungry!" Bobby yelled to no one in particular. Munchlax nodded his head in agreement. "Excuse me sir! Do you know where a Pokemon Trainer can sleep for the night and get some food?" Bobby asked a man that had passed them by.

"Sure! You see that building with the red roof?" the man pointed. Bobby nodded and the man said, "Thats called a Pokemon Center. They heal your Pokemon, give trainers and their Pokemon food, and bedding!"

Bobby pulled out his wallet and opened it. A moth flew out. "So how much does this all cost?" Bobby asked as about two bucks.

"Thats the best part! Its all free!" the man said.

"Are you kidding me? Thats awsome!" Bobby said excited that he didn't have to pay a cent. "Thanks Mister!" Bobby yelled back to the man as he started running towards the Pokemon Center.

"Excuse me young sir!" a middle age man said as he jumped out from the shadows.

"Christ!" Bobby said a little creeped out. "What is wrong with you?!"

"I'm sorry! I just happened to notice you don't have a Poketch!" the man said as he held up a watch like device with a red button on it. "You see this Poketch can tell time, do math problems, see how much your Pokemon like you, and a map!"

"Wow! That is cool! Where do I get one?" Bobby asked eyes full of wonder.

"Well since I make them, you can have one for free!" the man said with a chuckle.

"Awsome! Is everything free in Sinnoh?" Bobby said with a laugh.

"Now there's a pink one and a blue one. Which one would you like?" The man asked. Bobby just gave the man a look. "Blue it is!"

Thanking the man, Bobby finally made it to the Pokemon Center. He went up to the cute nurse with pink hair and said "Will you take care of my Pokemon please?"

"Well sure! A Munchlax and a Shinx....Shouldn't be a problem!" she said as she looked over Bobby's Pokemon.

"Awsome! Where do the trainers eat?" Bobby asked as his stomach gave a roar.

"In here!" the nurse said showing Bobby to the buffet. "We'll take of your Pokemon while your gone."

Munchlax seeing all the food immediatly tryed to get in, but the nurse grabbed him just in time and took him away to a room that had a sign on it that said "Munchlax Room". The room was stuffed to the gills with food. Munchlax began to cry at the sight and lept in.

After eating and retreiveing his freshly healed Pokemon, Bobby made his way to his room dog tired. Letting Shinx sleep at the edge of the bed and Munchlax on the floor, Bobby passed out.

Eddy rushed forward into the city that was way huger than any town that either of them had ever seen. "Wow, Ash, look around!" he exclaimed. He ran from building to building and looked around at the many tall buildings and markets on the side of the road. He picked up an antique pokeball and held it up for Ash to see. "Ash, this is so neat. Can we get it?"

"Are you kidding?" Ash replied. She swiped the ball from Eddy's hand and placed it back on the table. "We can't be wasting our money on stupid junk like this. Besides, we have to use it so we can stay at the pokemon center and heal Riolu and Starly."

Eddy gave in and placed the ball back. Ash patted him on the head. "Don't worry, when we get to the pokemon center, you can have a nice, hot meal and sleep on a bed for a change."

"Wait, what is this you say?"

"Hunh, say what?" Ash blurted. She whirled around to a man in a fine suit. He had his hands behind his back and a huge grin on his face.

"Young lady, you sound like you're a pokemon trainer. Right now, we are having a special offer. If you go to our company, you will receive a special new item called a Poketch. It has many features that you can add onto it to help make your journey easier."

"Hmm, I guess this sounds pretty neat. Where is this company?"

After getting a few directions, Ash and Eddy walked through the large city until they came upon a large, two or three story building. They both walked inside the building and took the elevator to the third floor, the floor where the watches were supposedly being passed out. And of course, a man heartily greeted both of them and slapped a large, pink watch in Ash's hand.

"Here you go," he said cheerfully. "Pink for the girls. There are many different functions you can do with it…" The man went on and explained detailed directions to Ash, and the two set out of the building towards their next stop- the Pokemon Center.

The two came upon a building, some minutes later, that was very red and a somewhat dome-shape.

"This is it," Ash said. She looked at Eddy, and they both walked inside. They walked inside a large lobby, with a pretty woman standing behind a counter, next to large machine.

"Hello," she greeted. "Would you like a room and your pokemon healed?" she asked.

"Yes please," Ash responded. She pulled out both her pokeballs and placed them on a special tray. Then, as the nurse was taking them away, Ash dug around and pulled out a few wadded bills from her victory with the trainer. "Umm, this is all I have," she said shyly.

The nurse giggled. "Oh, everything is completely free," she said. She held a key out to Ash. Astonished, Ash took it and pocketed it and weakly thanked her. Completely free? What more could she ask for?

Ash and Eddy placed all their belongings in their temporary room before heading off for dinner. By the time they settled in, Ash's pokemon were completely healed, so Ash let them eat at the table with her. The four, especially Starly, enjoyed one of the most delicious meals she had ever eaten.

"Wow, this is amazing," Ash said to Eddy while stuffing her face. "I'm eating an actual dinner with some new pokemon and friends. Not only that, but it is all free."

"Maybe the professor knew this could help change our lives," Eddy responded. "Maybe he saw that this was right for us and that it would make us happy."

"Yeah…" Ash said, taking in Eddy's words. She didn't really express it to Eddy, but she knew he was right about what he said. The day had been the happiest in her life.

@Pika_Master 414: That was a good post... too bad the happiness is about to be broken.

Chapter 4: Jubilife T.V. Station
Number of Posts: 1

The famous T.V. Station, the same on that runs all of the programming in Sinnoh is being taken over by the Blank Division. But it seems that the grunts are the only ones really there, but being part of the government are pretty tough.

Blank Division Grunts have these pokemon:

Zubat
[PokeCommunity.com] Pokemon Gem Quest: (PG-14)
Shinx
[PokeCommunity.com] Pokemon Gem Quest: (PG-14)
All between Levels 5 and 8.

----------

"Okay sir, we are ready to infiltrate the studio." Said the grunt before grabbing a pokeball.

"Good, let's make ready for Project: Communication." Said the other Grunt before summoning a Zubat. In moments, the T.V. Station was taken over, and all guards were defeated.

"Oh, no! I have to find someone to stop this!" Whispered a man to himself before running out towards the Pokemon Center. Using a frying pan, the man started banging it against a spoon, waking everyone up.

"What's your problem?" Asked a random trainer annoyed by this disturbance.

"These people took over the T.V. Station! We need your help! If they mess with the wrong things, they could do some bad damage to Sinnoh!" Yelled the man, but most of the trainers had already gone to their rooms. "Hello?"

----------------
After the event, I will make another scene, so don't make the grunts run away.

Maya and Mimi walked out of the mall, Mimi on Maya's shoulder and Maya carrying several bags filled with Pokemon grooming supplies. "That's was fun, wasn't it?" Maya asked happily to her Pokemon, but Mimi was distracted, looking at something across the street with her ears perked and eyes narrowed.

"Huh? What's…" Maya followed Mimi's gaze to the old man across the street, banging on the pot and asking if anyone was around to hear. 'Err…is something wrong with that dude?' Maya thought to herself.

Suddenly, a suspicious looking guy in a black uniform comes out of the tv station building with a club-like object in his hands. Without saying a word, the guy snuck up behind the old man and struck down with the cub hard on the old man's head. The old man dropped the pot and spoon and sunk lifelessly to the ground.

Maya's eyes widened and she let out a shriek of terror. The grunt jumped, noticing Maya was there for the first time. Maya's head spun 'What do I do? What do I DO??' she thought frantically.

Slowly, she took a step forward, into the abandoned street. The grunt look on, enraged that she had witnessed the act he just performed. "Hey!" He called out. Maya stopped dead in her tracks. The grunt ran up the edge of the street on the opposite side of where Maya and Mimi stood. "You're not going to get away with what you just saw!" Quickly, the grunt drew out a Pokeball from his belt. Maya's face turned white.

"Go! Bidoof!" The grunt yelled, throwing the poke ball into the air. The ball smashed into the ground and opened up. A white light shined, slowly revealing the form of what looked to be some sort of a beaver.. or woodchuck.

"Bidoof, use rollout!" The beaver-like Pokemon rolled up into a tight ball and started spinning in place, creating a small dust cloud around it.

'What do I do?!?!?!" Maya stood frozen to the spot. Slowly she looked at Mimi next to her, who was frozen just as well.

Suddenly, the brown ball shot forward, in the direction of Mimi. Maya's eyes widened as time seemed to stand still.

"Mimi, run away!" Mimi's ears perked as she turned tail and ran as fast as her legs could take her. She ran until she came face to face with the siding of the tv station building. Hesitating for only a moment, she quickly took off to her left, causing Bidoof to roll into the building. Bidoof uncurled in a daze. He fought to stand up, stumbled, and fell to the ground again.

"Get the heck up, Bidoof! D35T0Y TH3M!!1" Bidoof shook his head, and again went into the tight brown ball and charged at Mimi. Mimi again turned tail and ran, this time down an alleyway and up a stack of steel barrels that blocked their way. Bidoof, going to fast to stop in time, crashed full speed into the barrels. Mimi jumped out of the way just in time as the barrels crashed down on top of Bidoof. She had won the battle.

The grunt growled in defeat and ran in the opposite direction, abandoning his Pokemon.

Maya stood where she was, stunned for a few seconds, then shook her head and called out "Wait! Come back here!", but the grunt was already out of sight. Maya looked on at the battle scene with a worried expression, while Mimi stood tall and smirked at her victory.

"Mimi, you must help the Bidoof out!" Maya said, looking from the barrels to the unconscious old man lying on the ground. Mimi looked at her with a look of disbelief, as if to say "What?! But I just won!"

"Mimi…." Maya started, her voice shaking with panic, "his trainer.. He abandoned him. Look, we don't help these guys they'll die!" Maya turned and ran to the old man. Mimi blinked, taking it all in, then started pushing the barrels away from he severely injured Pokemon. Maya heaved the old man up, and supported him with her arm. She turned to look back at Mimi, her eyes softening just the slightest. "Good work Mims, I knew you would understand." She whispered to herself. Raising her voice, she added "Mimi, I'm going to find a hospital for this guy, I trust you to find one for Bidoof too once he's out!" With that said, Maya slowly made her way with the old man across the street and searched for the nearest hospital…

Chapter 5: The Invasion of Jubilife City!
Bobby woke up in the Pokemon Center in Jubilife City with a cramp in his leg. Half-asleep Bobby kicked his leg out and accidently kicked Shinx. "Shinx!" she cried at the rude awakining.

"I'm sorry Shinx! I forget you were sleeping there." Bobby said sheepishly. With a meow that let Bobby know he was forgivin, Shinx lept off the bed and proceded the long process of waking Munchlax up. When Bobby and Shinx finally got Munchlax up, the three of them went into the eating room of the Pokemon Center to get some breakfast.

As Bobby's Pokemon tucked into breakfast, Shinx into an apple and Munchlax anything that looked edible, Bobby was eating oatmeal while watching T.V. Or he would be if there wasn't static on every channel. Suddenly a very feint picture appeared on the screen, breaking through the white noise. "This has just in. Jubilife T.V towers has been taken over by an unknown group of men wearing black. The men have taken all of the workers there hostage. What will happen to the workers? More will follow."

"Munchlax! Shinx! Drop your food. We're going on a field trip." Bobby said. After getting ready and checking out of the Pokemon Center, Bobby stood outside of the T.V Station with Munchlax and Shinx in their Pokeballs. Sneaking past the guard on duty, Bobby made his way inside.

"Where is everybody?" Bobby asked to no one. He knew that the employes had been taken hostage but where was the men who took them hostage in the first place?

"We're right here..." a voice said menecingly. Bobby turned around and saw two men dressed in black. "And you're here being an intruder. Do you know what we do with intruders?" the one on the right said.

"W-what?" Bobby asked trying to keep the fear from creeping into his voice.

"We dispose of them." the one on the left said with an evil smile. He threw out a Pokeball and out came a Bidoof while the one on the right sent out a light blue bat like Pokemon.

Bobby took out his Pokedex and pointed it at the bat Pokemon. "Zubat, the Bat Pokemon." the female voice said. "Even though it has no eyes, it can sense obstacles using ultrasonic waves it emits from it mouth."

"Well if its a fight you want, its a fight you'll get." Bobby said throwing out Shinx and Munchlax. "Shinx use a Tackle on Bidoof while Munchlax Tackles Zubat." Bobby ordered. Shinx followed the orders perfectly but Munchlax for some reason didn't move.

"Bidoof use Tackle!" "Zubat use Leech Life!" the two men ordered their Pokemon. Bidoof's Tackle hit Shinx dead on but Zubat's attack missed as Munchlax simply moved out of the way.

As Zubat tryed to get air under its wings Bobby yelled "C'mon Munchlax! Why don't you wanna fight?" Munchlax in responce sat down and fell asleep. "If you don't fight you don't get lunch." Bobby said hoping his little trick would work. Munchlax's eyes snapped open and with a roar jumped into the air and slammed Zubat into the ground.

"You think thats going to stop us?" the man on the right said while ordering Zubat to get up and attack again. Munchlax meanwhile grabbed Shinx and threw her towards Zubat while the Big Eater Pokemon used Tackle to pick up speed as he rushed towards towards Bidoof. Munchlax then used Defense Curl with Bidoof as a pin and Munchlax as a bowling ball. When Munchlax hit Bidoof flew through the air hitting Zubat in the process and slammed both into a wall where they were both uncounsious.

The two men returned their Pokemon and began running down the hall with Bobby in hot pursuit.
