Pokemon Gijinka Academy

While we were waiting in line I wondered what the houses would be like. Could they be like dorms in a college, or maybe its like an actual house with a lot more rooms. I just really wanted to see what they would look like. Then I heard somebody say, "My Gyarados can beat your Weavile any day" Then I remembered seeing a Gyarados Gijinka when I got off the boat. I looked around and I saw Lysander Talking to The Gyarados guy. Lysander looked very annoyed.
His Weavile looked about ready to roundhouse kick him in the face if he didn't shut up. I felt like going over there and zapping the annoying Gyarados. The worst part is the Gyarados Gijinka was bound to be in our house. I glaced at Lex and he was sitting licking him self.
"Lex, don't do that in public" I said "Oh, gosh I forgot where we were for a second." Lex seemed a bit nervous. He always licks his paws when he's nervous to try and get his mind off of it.
"Lex, you ok there bro?"
"Yeah, Im cool. I just want to see who will be our room mate."
"Just hope it's not that gyaradose over there" I replied.
Lex gave out a slight giggle, and kept on licking his paws.

"My first year at the academy" I said to myself "I wonder what the classes and teachers are like..." " Let's just hope you don't mess it up like you did in kindergarten." Meme said, "You used night shade to make yourself look like a big scary monster" "That was an accident! I couldn't control myself!" I explained. "Sure it was. Well I'm going to explore some more" Meme said walking away. "Just please don't do anything to anger the other students." I said "No promises, hehhehheh." Meme said as she disappeared into the shadows. "No Meme stop!" I yelled but it was too late. She had already left. "I'm going to have to find her before she gets herself into trouble." I said.

Jake Green

Rolling his eyes, Jake gave a small smile as Anila flew into the Great Hall. He didn't have a chance to question her on her tardiness now - not that it was a problem, of course, she was here after all and it wasn't his place to begin bombarding her with questions. The way he saw it, no damage had been done and they were ready to proceed to the rest of the day now. Nodding in her direction as she greeted her House - a House he believed she would mentor well - he turned his attentions back to Earth House.

"Okay everybody, I've already introduced myself and the Academy so I won't bore you with that again. All Professors will now lead their Houses to their respective bases, where the Introductory classes will be held, and then we shall break for Dinner and free-time for the remainder of the day to allow you to settle in. Storm House, Shadow House, until tonight," he shouted, inclining his head towards the two Houses separately. "Right Earth House, follow me!" he called, turning and leaving the Great Hall with his students following.

He walked slowly through the back exit of the main building, into a large open expanse that was bordered by the three House bases, with more buildings around the perimeter of the Academy for lessons and battles to be held. Earth House was the base directly in front of them inbetween Storm and Shadow Houses, and Jake scanned his card key at the entrance, the doors sliding open. Leading his House inside, Jake stopped in the large hall where three wide staircases led off, one directly behind him and one to the left and right. "Welcome to Earth House. Dormitories are up the stairs - boys to the left and girls to the right - your common room and classrooms are up the stairs behind me. I will give you half an hour to settle into your dormitories and will meet you in the Common Room then - it is clearly signposted. Until then," he made a small nod to the students and turned, walking up to the Common Room. This was going to be a good year, he felt it...

Savannah
Savannah liked their Professor - Professor McKenzie - even though she had been somewhat late for their first day this didn't alarm her any. She suspected that some other students in the Academy would lose respect for her because of this, but the Pidgeot Gijinka seemed to be a good enough person to have a reason for her lateness and Savannah suspected that she would explain once they'd gone to their Houses.

She looked around and surveyed the group at her words - yes, there were quite a few Electric-type Gijinka here - this could be useful for her. She would be able to understand their Pokemon and they could understand hers, although that may be quite a disadvantage in battle is she and Raichu had to change tactics last minute, she assumed that it would be a positive aspect overall.

Watching patiently as Earth House filed out of the Hall, she looked down at Raichu, seeing a similar expression of consideration on his face. She could tell that they were both wondering what their House base would be like...if the Great Hall was this grand, then she expected a similar quality of accommodation for them at the Houses.

"It will be wonderful even if it isn't as grand as all this...it is a change of scene from the old Tribe and it's a new adventure for us Sav," said Raichu quietly and Savannah had to agree with him - she couldn't wait to find out what her lessons would be like.

The Earth house left to their rooms while we waited to leave to ours. Lex stopped licking his paws and was wagging his tail. I could tell he was excited to see our new room. The Gyarados Lysander was talking to left to go to the back of the line.
"I'm going to crush you and your little Luxray" the Gyarados Gijinka said.
"Excuse me?" Lex said.
"quiet lex" I whispered "You've never even met me before, What makes you think you can beat me?"
"I can tell when I see a weak Trainer" He said.
"What ever, just go back in line." I replied.
"What a jerk" Lex said.
"Lex, that's not nice. Even if he is one."
Lex and I waited for the Storm Professor to Lead us to our rooms.

Melissa grinned at her fellow. She couldn't blame the Pidgeot Gijinka. She had likely been out flying or something, which was undeniably awesome! Anila was fun that way. She hoped the woman would join her in morning flights. It'd be a blast! Everyone was milling around again. She smirked and let out a loud holler. "Your two minutes are up kids! Get a move on!" She flew through the doors, making sure to cackle insanely and violently. Yes, she enjoyed mothering and scaring the children.

Reaching the House, which was to the right of Earth House, she landed on the ground inside. It was slightly gloomy in there. These kids are slow! When they arrived, she grinned. "Greetings fellow weirdos!" she chirped affectionately. "I introduced myself once- too lazy to do it twice. You see these two staircases behind me? Left is for you males, right is for the females. If you're genderless, pick one!"

She let that sink in for thirty seconds before continuing. "Anyway, the Common Room is behind me along with the classrooms. Just go up the stairs. You have thirty minutes to meet me in the Common Rooms after you see your new dorms. Enjoy and I don't recommend chewing on the fabric. A student did that once and he got sick. Later ya'll." As she marched up to the Common Room, Melissa grinned to herself. The Togekiss Gijinka couldn't wait to freak the children out during class. They thought she was weird now but when they saw her teach... ahah! Oh this year was gonna be fun!

Idly she looked out the room window wistfully. Andrea, her partner, had disappeared from the Academy over the summer. She worried for her Togekiss friend but knew the Pokemon would be all right. She was strong.

~~

Ethan and Leafia followed the other children. There were too many for his friend, Leafia noticed, seeing the strained expression of the nine-year-old. in other words, his eyebrow twitched. Thankfully, Professor Green was brief and Ethan quickly found his dorm room and sat on the bed.

He hoped his dormmates would not be too loud or would at least be smart. Ethan had a bad habit of leaving the dorm to go get food, by which they meant, get sunlight. Leafia did that with him but they had to be careful. If his fellows thought he was more of a freak then he was, Ethan might get bullied. And it was never good when Leafia told the kid to retaliate. Because that meant solitary underground again. Leafia had hated that and so had Ethan. There was no sun! Ah whatever.

The Leafeon curled up on his partner's stomach, enjoying the thirty minutes of downtime they had.

(OOC: When is the Storm House professor gonna post? It's been a while, and I wanna check out my dorm.)

"Okay everybody, I've already introduced myself and the Academy so I won't bore you with that again. All Professors will now lead their Houses to their respective bases, where the Introductory classes will be held, and then we shall break for Dinner and free-time for the remainder of the day to allow you to settle in. Storm House, Shadow House, until tonight," Professor Green shouted, inclining his head towards the two Houses separately. "Right Earth House, follow me!" he called, turning and leaving the Great Hall with his students following. Flare followed the flow of Earth House students with Blaze right behind her. They left the main hall and went to the middle of the three houses. Prof. Green opened the door and the students all filed in. "Welcome to Earth House," he announced, "Dormitories are up the stairs - boys to the left and girls to the right - your common room and classrooms are up the stairs behind me. I will give you half an hour to settle into your dormitories and will meet you in the Common Room then - it is clearly signposted. Until then," he made a small nod to the students and turned, walking up to the Common Room.

Flare pushed her way to the front of the students going up the stairs to the girls' dormitory. She had seen from the outside that the room at the very end of the hall had two windows, one on each wall that faced the outside. She wanted to make sure she got that room. Reaching the door far ahead of any of the other female gijinkas, the girl went in. It was just like any normal dormitory would be except for, of course, reinforced furniture in case one of the inhabitants threw a tantrum. Blaze came huffing and puffing up behind her. His large size and wings made it difficult for him to get around in hallways, even if it was a building where the hallways were extra large to accommodate for larger pokemon and gijinkas.

"Not to shabby I guess," Flare said as she plopped down on one of the beds that was situated next to a window. Blaze sat next to the bed, taking up almost half of the space in the room. Flare would put him in a pokeball but she had never actually caught him. Besides, what friend would do that to their only buddy? "Wake me up when it's time to go see the prof, will ya, Blaze?" Her only reply was a grunt from the large Charizard.

((Sorry for my absence, I was camping this weekend. I'm back now, and ready to post!))
((mzmingle: I'm pretty sure you can still join this RP. SelenaStar is the GM though, so you'd have to ask her just to be sure.))

"Okay everybody, I've already introduced myself and the Academy so I won't bore you with that again." Jake addressed the crowd of students. All Professors will now lead their Houses to their respective bases, where the Introductory classes will be held, and then we shall break for Dinner and free-time for the remainder of the day to allow you to settle in." He then began to lead his group of students to the Earth House. Melissa followed soon after, leading her own students to the Shadow House.

"Alright everyone, time to go!" Anila McKenzie clapped her hands together in excitement. "Follow me to the Storm House please!" She turned away from the remainder of the students and led them out of the Great Hall. The Storm House was the leftmost of the three newly built houses. The division of students by type was a rather sudden decision by the higher-ups, so these dormitories hadn't been lived in yet. A brand new building for a brand new experience. Why not?

Anila pushed the double-doors open wide and stepped into the building. "Welcome, everyone, to the Storm House." She let her students take in their surroundings for a moment. "The stairs on the right lead to the girls dormitories, while the stairs on the left lead to the boys. The stairs directly behind me lead to your common room, as well as some of your classrooms. I'll give you all some time to settle in before the introductory class. We'll meet in the common room half an hour from now." She started to make her way up the center stairs before turning back to her students. "Oh, and I promise not to be late this time," she said with a smile.

Once at the top of the staircase, she went to the far side of the common room and opened one of the large windows. She whistled loudly and then sat back in a comfy-looking chair. Her Pidgeot partner would have heard her call and be on it's way now. She would just have to sit back and wait a while.

-----

"Your two minutes are up kids! Get a move on!" Professor Warner said before flying out the doors and cackling like a crazy person. Melanie was very confused by the Shadow House mentor. Her personality type was hard to pinpoint. Mel and Shadow, along with the rest of the group, followed the Togekiss gijinka out of the Great Hall and into the rightmost of three large buildings. This had to be the Shadow House.

"Greetings fellow weirdos! I introduced myself once- too lazy to do it twice. You see these two staircases behind me? Left is for you males, right is for the females. If you're genderless, pick one!" The professor paused for a moment before continuing. "Anyway, the Common Room is behind me along with the classrooms. Just go up the stairs. You have thirty minutes to meet me in the Common Rooms after you see your new dorms. Enjoy and I don't recommend chewing on the fabric. A student did that once and he got sick. Later ya'll. With that, she went up the middle stairs and disappeared into the common room.

Mel's first thought was 'Why on earth would anyone want to chew on fabric?' Musta been some strange kid. Oh well. "C'mon Shadow, let's head up to our room. Some alone time would be nice right about now." The two headed up the stairs to the girls' dorm. She found the door with her name on it and went inside. Her room was pretty nice. Nothing too fancy, but Mel liked simple things anyway. She removed her black eyepatch before plopping herself onto the bed. The thing got kind of uncomfortable after a while.

Shadow floated over to the bed and sat beside his best friend. "So... what do you think so far? I think it's going to be pretty great. The people seem so nice here. And they're all gijinkas like you! I'm sure we'll make plenty of friends."

"Speak for yourself," Melanie replied. "You make friends easily. I'm not outgoing like you are. Besides, people aren't afraid of normal pokemon. They're afraid of freaks like me." She pulled her hair away from her face, revealing the glowing red light in an empty eye socket. "I have no eye! Most gijinkas get something cool like wings or a tail. I get one of my body parts replaced by a creepy glowing light. What will people think?"

Shadow had heard this all before. "So what if you have no eye? I have no eyes and I get along with people just fine. You need to learn to be more trusting of people. You're part Duskull; people will understand."

"I dunno. Maybe." Mel sighed and closed her eyes. "Anyways, I'm going to rest here for a while. You can go off and make those friends you were talking about." Shadow shook his head. What a stubborn girl. He flew through the wall and down the stairs, wandering around the people still in the entryway.

Jake Green - Lecture Room 1, Earth House

Jake read over his notes for the second time, making sure he had all the basics covered for his lesson...he always found Introductory lessons the hardest. How far did he need to go? What kind of things would be most useful to his students at this stage? He found it difficult to strike the right balance...particularly when it came to discussing Gijinka...he found that he often had to catch himself before he delved too far into the Genome Project he was working on, which was way advanced for his students at this time, even the seniors...

Making a couple of adjustments with a furrow between his brows, Jake set his notes down on the front desk and looked up. This was the main lecture room, it wasn't particularly intimate but he figured that for his first class it struck the right tone - they would know that even though he was 'nice' and 'cool' he WAS the Professor and he was still in a position of authority despite his Mentoring role.

He found himself emerging from behind his desk, walking up the stairs between the blocks of seats. The room had a capacity of about 250 students and their pokemon, and was split into 3 blocks of seats, a large aisle of stairs between the blocks. There were 4 doors in total, one in each corner of the room, so students could enter using the front two sets of doors and leave from the back two. Jake himself wasn't really fussed how the students entered his classrooms as long as they entered...but for some reason Senior Management had produced a list of apparently pedantic rules such as these for this year...he should be seen to enforce them he supposed.

Sitting at one of the seats in the right hand block facing the lectern, Jake smiled to himself. He remembered sitting one of his final exams in this very room, this very block in fact. Probably even the same row, if not the same seat! Those two hours had been two of the slowest yet fastest of his life...the thought made him excited for the new students as he checked his wristwatch. It had been 20 minutes since he'd left them...they had 10 minutes before class, and he knew the eager ones would be arriving any moment. He made his way back down to the front of the room, scrawling Professor Jake Green - Introduction to Gijinka Studies on the whiteboard on the wall before sitting back down and waiting, shuffling his notes somewhat anxiously.

Savannah - Storm House
The courtyard was amazing...she had never seen somewhere that looked so beautiful yet so modern and institutionalised, so safe yet so imposing...there was a large fountain in the middle of the Courtyard, the paving stones all light, clean stone. She noticed that Professor McKenzie was leading them off towards the left of the Courtyard, so she followed obediently.

"It's swanky this isn't it..." she said quietly to Raichu, not sure if any of her peers would overhear the tone of awe in her voice. She wasn't sure if that kind of response would be similar to the other students or if they would sneer at her for it...Raichu looked up, linking his tail with hers as they walked as he sometimes did when he was on edge. "Don't you think it feels a bit...TOO swanky? Like they're trying too hard?" "I'm not complaining even if they are..." muttered Savannah in response, as they went inside the House itself.

If the Courtyard was nice...this was something else...all high and airy ceilings, marble floors, gold fittings...Savannah couldn't help an appreciative whistle escaping her lips. She looked around at her fellow students as Professor stated what the specific stariways were for...Girls Dorms were up to the right. Following the instructions, Savannah went upstairs, looking round to see if Maka was nearby...perhaps they could be roommates, depending on how large the dorms were...Savannah very much doubted they'd have their own, individual rooms.

As suspected, Savannah opened a door tentatively to find a long room with 4 double beds in it, 2 on each side, a wardrobe, chest of drawers and desk by each bed, formed almost within it's own little bedroom square. "Cool..." Savannah found herself saying, as Raichu ran over to one of the beds at the far end of the room by the large square window. "Ha...so that's where we are is it?" she said, rubbing his head afectionately as she sat next to him, looking around for Maka.

Finally, Professor McKenzie finished watching the other teachers and led the way to the house rooms. Lysander and Weavile followed the rest of the group, Lysander said to Weavile "You're gonna get it now." and chuckled. In some ways, Lysander himself was just like a Weavile, but only sometimes. He guessed it was the nature of his Gijinka species.
Then, the students and Prof. McKenzie reached the Storm House. Lysander stared at it, it wasn't here before, that was for sure.
"So, this is where we'll be living, Weavile." he said to his partner, who nodded gloomly, seemingly still upset about losing the bet.
The door opened, and the students were let in. "Welcome, everyone, to the Storm House." Prof. McKenzie said, smiling, starting to explain everything about the place.
"The stairs on the right lead to the girls dormitories, while the stairs on the left lead to the boys. The stairs directly behind me lead to your common room, as well as some of your classrooms. I'll give you all some time to settle in before the introductory class. We'll meet in the common room half an hour from now." she explained. For once, these introductions were new to Lysander as he explored his surroundings.

"Hey, quit bickering around, Lu. I wanna see the place where I'm gonna get drenched." Weavile said to Lysander, pulling at his trousers. "Alright, away we go" Lysander rolled his eyes and went up the stairs to the boy's dormitories. There were several rooms, possibly dozens, to choose from. "Heh, I bet they're all the same." Weavile said, looking around at the various doors that the students were entering. The two walked for a bit, before Lysander said "That one." but Weavile said "No, I want that one." pointing over to the one at the end of the hall. "You know it doesn't matter. They're all the-" but before he could finish Weavile hissed "Quick! That Pupitar Gijinka's gonna take it!!" pointing her claw to the Gijinka going over to the room. "Fine" Lysander said, as he stared running to the room. When he was near the Pupitar, the Gijinka also noticed that he was heading for it, and they started racing. For a Gijinka who's Pokemon was a cocoon, he was pretty fast, but Weavile and Lysander made it to the end of the hall first, and burst through the door into the room.
They both panted heavily as the Pupitar Gijinka grumbled and slumped over to the dorm on the right of Lysander's. Lysander noticed that this dorm was indeed different. It had two windows instead of one. "I told you it was best!" Weavile said. Lysander opened one of the two windows and stuck his head out of it. He looked, and apparently there was one of these two-windowed rooms for each dorm. "Not unique, but rare." Lysander joked as he let himself fall onto his new bed.
The room was quite spacious, Lysander was glad they'd picked this room. "Nice choice, Weavile." Lysander said, closing his door. "See, I'm always right." she replied. "Yeah, but that isn't going to stop you from getting drenched." Lysander laughed.

Lysander opened both of his windows and sat down on his bed. Weavile sat on the red carpet beside the bed, and for once, didn't say anything. "We have half an hour. Think we should take a break?" Lysander asked his partner. "Yup, I need a break from running through that hall, it was endless!" she complained. "Oh, come one! Are you kidding me? I tuffnut like you is beat by a hallway?!" Lysander joked. "I'll take that as both an insult and a compliment," Weavile giggled in return.

It took AT LEAST three minutes, but Lysander noticed the other bed across the room. "Oh, boy. I forgot, we get roomates! I gotta look for Floyd!" Lysander burst out, causing the Weavile to shoot her eyes open. "What? Why him?" she asked her partner. "Because he's the only one I can think of! He seemed real nice." Lysander responded. "Okay, you go look for him while I claw the furniture." Weavile joked, glaring at the beautiful ref carpet. "Don't you dare!" Lysander said, closing the door.

"Hey, Floyd! Floyd!" Lysander shouted around. Looking for the Luxray he'd met earlier. Finally, he found him. Lysander walked over to him, looking at him, only about half-a-head shorter than Lysander, surprisingly. "Hey, Floyd. I just found out I can have a roomate, you wanna be mine? I got double windows." Lysander told him, pointing over to the room at the end of the hallway. "C'mon." he said again, tiliting his head a little toward the door.

Melissa sighed, flying back down to rest herself behind the teacher's desk. It was cramped in here! Really, do they forget there are people with wings or something? Jeez... Ah well. The woman took a deep breath and exhaled, reveling and hating the quiet with the furious passion of someone with way too much energy on her hands. It was probably going to stay this quiet too... ugh.

The twenty six-year-old pouted, looking quite more like twelve. Agh, she was the oldest wasn't she? Oh that sucked royally! Nobody in their right mind would believe that, seriously! She didn't believe it! Throwing her hands in the air and lowering them, she sulked for all of three minutes. Then she pulled out her notes, examining them. God this was formal. What kid would be interested in this? Eh, it was the job. Man, did she need some coffee...

~~

Ethan rolled over, causing Leafia to let out an undignified squeal as he rolled off the bed. Ethan didn't notice, standing up and going to open the curtains. Sunlight streamed in and the boy closed his eyes, instantly letting a golden glow cover his body. Leafia leapt to the bed and curled up again. He's seen the boy do this before. It was eat now and avoid people later. Would they have to explain to Mr. Green the photosynthesis? Oh what a pain that would be. Really, why?

Professor Mckenzie Lead us to our house. It was quite big actually. Lex and I walked up the stairs to our side of the house to our rooms. Lots of Gijinka scamped around to find a room. I saw Lysander and Weavile run towards a room in the back of the hallway. A Pupitar Gijinka was about to enter the room when Lysander dashed in. The Pupitar had an ugly look on his face as he stared up at Lysander. I chuckled to my self as Lex began to talk. "We should find a room" Lex suggested. "Yea we should." I replied.
We searched the hallway for a room. "Maybe this one over here"
"Yeah that one looks cool." I replied.

As soon as we were about to enter I herd some one calling my name. "Hey, Floyd! Floyd!" the voice said. Lex Jumped on his back legs to see who was calling my name. I turned to look to where the voice was. It was Lysander walking down the hall. "Hey, Floyd. I just found out I can have a roomate, you wanna be mine? I got double windows." Lysander asked. I was surprised he asked me to be his room mate. He was much older than me so I was a bit confused. "uh.. Sure!" I said. I was glad I didn't have to ask someone else to be their room mate. Lysander, Lex and I walked to the room and plopped down on the bed Diagonal from his. I dropped my stuff next to my bed and Lex dropped his bag full of his food, water bowl, and his little "I <3 Fire Types"
Hat. Lex jumped on the end of my bed, turned around a few times and dropped down.

"So, Lysander what's up?"

As Professor Warner led us to the Shadows house, I was worrying what my partner was up to. He better not be getting himself into trouble again. I thought to myself as I remembered what happened last time I left him alone. He angered a large group of duskulls, which attacked both of us in rage. As we walk into the house i see Meme sitting on a chair next to the fireplace. I ran up to him and yelled "What are you doing here, you had me worried sick!" And she smiled creepily and said "Caleb, hush you're making a scene." Only then did I realize that some people were staring. I made a fool out of myself again. "Lets go find were we're going to be sleeping tonight." I said quietly to Meme and walked away.

"Uh...sure!" came the reply from Floyd when Lysander found him. "Great. Let's go." he said. As they walked, Lysander noticed a confused look on Floyd's face. He was obviously wondering why a veteran at this place would want to be roomates with him. "Don't look so freaked." Lysander began. "Don't forget, this is new to me too. These houses weren't here last year." he finished. Then, the two Gijinka entered the room. Weavile noticed them enter and got up on her feet. They both watched as Floyd plopped down on his bed and deposited his stuff along with the Luxray. "His name is Lex, by the way. I found that out earlier." Weavile said to Lysander. "Oh, okay." Lysander replied. They both sat down on their bed, too.
"So, Lysander, what's up?" Floyd asked.

"Meh. Not much, as you can see. I hardly have any luggage." Lysander said, as he laid down on his bed. Meanwhile, Weavile got off the bed and walked up to Lex. "I assume you've met our friend Vincent by now." Weavile said to Lex. "Gyarados guy, big annoying jerk." she explained further.
"There are some people you might wanna watch out for during your time here. Not bullies, just annoying people." Lysander started to explain. "First, there's Vincent Murray. A Gyarados Gijinka who thinks he's bigger and better than everybody else. Next, you might wanna watch out for Celia Central. A Banette Gijinka who tries to sneak around everyone's luggage and steal valuables." he said. "Finally, there's Krae Byron. Weird name, I know, but he's pretty powerful in battle. And he'll ask anyone for a battle out of the blue. Especially newbies." Lysander finished. "But don't worry. This school isn't all bad. In fact, it's the best thing that ever happened to me," Lysander started. "And it's probably the best thing that's happened to you to." he finished, turning to look at his roomate.

"So, Lysander, what's up?" I asked while I unpacked my things. "Meh. Not much, as you can see. I hardly have any luggage." Lysander Replied. Weavile walked over to lex and started to talk. "I assume you've met our friend Vincent by now." Weavile said to Lex. "Gyarados guy, big annoying jerk." she explained further.
"Yeah, We've met him. He walked up to us and started ranting on about how awsome he was, and we never have even met him." Lex replied.

In fact, it's the best thing that ever happened to me," Lysander started. "And it's probably the best thing that's happened to you to." he finished, turning to look at me. "Thanks for the info." I replied

It really is the best thing that has ever happened to me, No more charging computer, phone, hand helds. I remember one time we went on a trip and my brother brought his tv and wii so he could play on the trip. Were did he get his power? Me of course. I was glad I was here. "Im going to head down to the common room, meet you there."

After about ten minutes of hanging around in the common room, Anila decided to go check out the main lecture room. This was where she'd be giving her introductory lecture, after all. The room was pretty sizable, which was good considering how many students there were in the Storm House. The rows of seats got shorter the closer they were to the professor's desk, giving the room a sort of triangular shape. Anila stood in front of her desk and looked out at the empty rows of her classroom. Soon, they would be filled with students who were (hopefully) eager to learn all about the basics of Gijinka studies. She had a basic lesson plan, but the topic was so broad that it would be hard to go into much detail about anything. Oh well... That's always the case with introductory classes.

She went back out into the common room to wait for her students. Only ten more minutes now. Hopefully people would arrive shortly. Anila was about to sit back down when she heard a flapping noise by the window. She turned to see her partner hovering right outside. "Anila, the next time you call me, be sure to open the window all the way."

"Oh, sorry Shaye," replied the professor. Surely enough, she hadn't pushed the window all the way out, preventing the Pidgeot from coming inside. She quickly fixed the problem and Shaye flew inside and landed softly on the floor. Anila stroked the long feathers on top of the bird's head. "I'm glad you're here. I know I've spoken in front of many students before, but the first class of the year always stresses me out. I need to make a good impression, especially for the new students."

"Oh, you have nothing to worry about. The students love you," Shaye replied. "I'm sure this year will be no different. Just be yourself and you'll be fine."

Anila smiled. "Oh, you always know what to say. Hey, maybe you'll be able to help me out with my lecture. I don't know exactly how, but I'm sure I'll think of something..."

Lex and I walked down the stairs to the common room and sat down in a chair that was in the back. I saw a few Gijinka, maybe 5 or 10. I didn't know any of them. "Soo.. where is the Professor?" Lex asked. "I don't know, She said to meet here unless I heard wrong" I replied. Lex sat down and looked around the room. "Nice place." Lex claimed. It was ok, nothing like the Great Hall but I think they over did the place. Lex got up and walked around, he turned and looked towards the doors, "There are some people coming" Lex said as his eyes glowed. Lex, like all other Luxray have the ability to see through objects. Its not like he can look through a building but he can glance through a wall. Sadly, I didn't adopt that ability. Lex was right, a group of 5-10 Gijinka walked in. Awfully, Vincent was in that group. "Oh, its you again you tiny pip-squeak" Vincent said in his annoying voice. "How am I a pip-squeak, Im 13 and Im
5 ft 9!" I replied angrily. "Any ones a pip-squeak to me." Vincent replied.
He was huge, and I mean HUGE. Looked 6ft 7. He only was that tall because he is a Gyarados Gijinka. "Vincent, If we could battle right now, you know I would beat you soo bad, its not even funny." I said. "HA! That is funny, because you would never beat me. I am The Mighty Vincent!" He said like an idiot.

People started to stare at him because of his yelling. I was ready to punch him in the neck if this wasn't a school. "Just get out of here." I said.
Vincent actually left to the front of the room. I saw a Banette Gijinka russleing through the drawers in the cabinet in the front of the room. They started to stuff things In their pocket. They Quickly ran out of the room. I began to think if it was the Gijinka Lysander told me about. I got up and quickly trailed behind the Gijinka, Lex followed. The Gijinka sprinted out the door. I don't even know why they were in this house. I followed them to the courtyard then they ran into the woods next to the academy. I saw them go to a Smaller Gijinka. The Banette handed the stuff from the Storm house to the little Ginjinka and ran back to the Banette's house it belonged in. The small Gijinka carried the things from the Storm house back farther in the woods. "It's not worth following them anymore." Lex said. "Let's head back to the house." I replied.

I have to keep a good eye out for that banette and I needed to try to figure out who that small Gijinka was. Lex and I walked back to the common room, our 30 minutes was almost up. Lex and I sat down in a chair. There were more Gijinka that there was before. We sat and waited patiently.

A tap on her shoulder woke Flare from her nap. She opened her eyes to see Blaze looking down at her. She sighed and sat up. "Time to go?" she asked. The Charizard nodded and Flare got up off the bed. The two walked back down the hall and down the stairs, than going up the stairs that lead to the Common Room. Many of the gijinkas from the Earth House were already there.

Flare found a seat near the back that was close to a window. For some reason, she liked to be close to a window at all times. Maybe it was because if something happened it would be a way for her to escape. Blaze sat behind her seat where he could make sure no one could sneak up behind her and see if anyone was going to attack from the front or the left or the right. Flare leaned back and waited for Prof. Green to speak.
