I appreciate the comment that you left me, beta tester. I am also going to update the first thread so it looks more...look-worthy. Also, Once I can get EVERYTHING together, I'll contact Seth the ROM Master and we'll get started.
New feature time!
HM Moves!
I'm thinking of replacing all of the HM's with new field moves:
-Water Power (Replaces Waterfall). This will essentially replace Surf, Whirlpool, Waterfall, and Dive, and it will be one HM.
-Field Power (Replaces Earth Power) Can clear, destroy, and replace obstacles in the enviroment. It can replace metal fences with flowers, destroy and move rocks, and jump you from one platform to the next. It is essential for clombing mountains.
Which means there will only be two, keeping you from having an annoying horde of HM Slaves.
Different levels:
What happens at the very beginning of the game you will fight Pokemon of extremely low levels. Your starter is lv. 5, and everything is lv. 1,2, and 3. This is because as you finish a continent's task, in this case North America, ending after obtaining Jirachi, levels will skyrocket, and immediately become harder. North America ends at lv. 35, then when you go to South America after getting a passport, you begin seeing Pokemon and trainer's Pokemon lv. 45-55. Then in Europe, 56-67, etc...
The Story behind each Rune:
First rune: Volt Rune. On the way back from fetching you from Rhode Island, the team has to go to California to get some supplies. Unfortunately, the plane is pulled to the ground due to an extremely powerful magnetic force. You are at an abandoned factory by the MO River. You check the factory, and find out that the field was caused by the beast of electricity living there, Regivolts. Defeat it, it's lv. 3. Then you go to Washington D.C.
Second rune: The water run of New York City Waterworks: Coming soon. No, I know what you think. I have not thought of it yet. I'm going to save it so you won't get spoiled.
