Well, I promised those screens and now here they are! The intro, plus a look at day/night and hero naming in action!

I think the night screen is very realistic. But, some people will have problems
seeing things as phoenix mentioned.

cool screens but you may wanna make the night screens a little lighter because it could be difficult to see stuff.
I think the night screen is very realistic, besides, every computer has a backlight, right?

Thanks, I also think the night screen seems realistic, but sight may be a problem. I made the nighttime a bit brighter. It keeps its realism yet makes it easier to see. Anyway, here are some more screens.

rubyrulez>>NICE SCREENS!!!

phoenix>> I think he's using the chipsets off one of the sites we
posted in the rescources section. The one with lots of
pokemon charasets.

Looking good rubyrules! But similarly to phoenix I don't really care for those chipsets.

I'm so far in the game, what point is there in changing the chipsets? I would have to redo everything, so thats why I keep them the same.

That's something that should be agreed on.
It's really frustrating to start a new game because
of better chipsets that have been found. However,
that's why I start with the events first rather than the
maps first. By events, I mean common events.

Exactly, anyways I just need to fix up a few things, add some more events and I'll be ready to release the next demo. A little off topic, but I have started a second project as well and shall be working on both projects simultaneously. Check out the thread for it!

I'm hoping to play the next demo really soon!
Hope you don't get tired from running two projects.

No worries, 2 projects is no problem at all. I made up the thread already and will post some screens soon. You should check it out! On a side note, pretty much just adding events to Olivine and all of the routes I missed and fixing some things up. Then I will release the demo.

Nice to hear that a new demo's going to be out soon.
Anyway, good luck!

I've been a little bit busy with my other project, that i've been holding off on GS for a while. Tomorrow, I should add more events and release the demo, but it might not get done overnight (I work during the day), but it will get done!
