Pokemon Hazel Iris
Storyline
You are Red, or Leaf. You have only recently beaten the Elite Four in Kanto. You then proceed to go home and lounge lazily with your Pokemon. Suddenly one day, Professor bursts into your house frantic with excitement. He tells you that you have been invited to Phoenix, another region in Japan, to compete in their Pokemon League. You are excited to go, until he informs you that you are not allowed to take your Pokemon with you. When you ask him why, he explains how there is a new international law preventing anyone from taking Pokemon across national borders, due to heavy Team Rocket, Aqua, and Magma activity (That's right ALL THREE!). Anyway after giving it some serious thought you decide to stay. You stay for several months, until your Original Starter becomes dangerously ill. You have no more of your winnings from beating the Elite Four, mainly because you turned 18 and your mom kicked you out, and you needed the money to buy a house. When you bring your starter to Prof. Oak, he tells you he could save it, but it would be far to expensive, and he simply can't afford it. You ask him if there is any way to make the money without fighting the Elite Four again (You don't think you can win without your starter)<--(Noob) Anyway, he tells you that if you were to go to Phoenix and take part in there Elite Four Challenge, they were offering enough money to save the starter just for going. You agree and the game begins.
This story is a bit generic, and I plan on changing it to meet the needs of the hack as it progresses.

That's right. I plan on adding a bit of an RPG element to this game. Not like you as a trainer level up or anything like that, but you do have events that take place which decide if you are good or evil. I only have one example as of now.

When you beat the first gym you can go down a path, and Brendan runs out screaming about how Team Rocket is trying to steal his Pokemon, and that they already made it faint. Two Team Rocket grunts then run up and tells him it's useless, just give them the Pokemon. Next Brendan asks if you would battle them, with a Yes or No box.
If you answer Yes
Brendan moves out of the way, team Rocket remarks on your foolishness, and then you battle the first Rocket. If you beat her (which isn't easy), you fight the next rocket. If you beat him (Also hard), they retreat and Brendan thanks you, and runs off to the Pokemon center. Note: If your Pokemon faint at any time during this battle, you can still try again.
After this point you are "An enemy of Team Rocket" and Brendan's ally.
If you answer No
Team Rocket says "Heh, smart kid, now give us the Pokemon!" and Brendan says how he will get you for this, and then runs off screen, followed by Team rocket.
After this point you are "An enemy of Brendan" and Team Rocket's ally.
Mew
When you start, Pallet Town remains relatively unchanged (for now). In "Garry's house" you can talk to the two people inside. The first is an old man, he says "When I was young, I was lucky to encounter the Legendary Mew! I am still to this day, one of the few to know it's location." The second is a young woman (soon to be nurse), who says, "I apologize, this old man is senile." If you look at the wall you may notice that there is a missing shadow (though, none of my game testers have noticed) which has a wall you can physically walk through. After you go all the way to the end you enter a room with another old man in front of a door. He tells you he is impressed that you have found this place, but tells you that you must prove yourself worthy of entering the next room by beating the Elite Four.(I'm working on fixing the outline of the room) Inside is a level 75 Mew. I plan on adding a side quest that will lead to several legendary Pokemon, ending with Mew (I think I'll use Celeb i, Jarachi, and Deoxys)
Difficulty
I haven't decided on a "Difficulty" yet. Currently, it's very hard. The Gary fight at the beginning is easy, but after that, you run into some real obstacles. First, The gym has four trainers, who all have dark types (this is also subject to change). The level of the trainers Pokemon range from seven to nine (Not that difficult) but the Leader has a level twenty Houndoom (Much harder). This means you must reach a very high level in order to beat the gym. Because of this, I've added a gym assistant who will re-enable, the four trainers. If I lower the difficulty, he will more than likely be taken out as well.
Gyms
There is no set order of Gyms or difficulties, as of yet. There will still be 8 gyms, which are required to get to the Elite Four. The Gym leaders are all Scientists, which is because of the storyline. You are being tested. The same will go with the Elite Four trainers.

Scriptist
You must be able to use either Pokescript or XSE fluently. You must send me a ROM with a script that you think is amazing. Weather this be a short encounter script, or a monster script that has multibox and even a follow me script. It's up to you. I have no limit to how many scriptist's I have, but I don't want to get an overwhelming amount, as I won't need alot of them. I would also like to ask that you include "Fuzzyketchup" somewhere in your script text, so that I know it's your work. And to conclude, you must also send me a text document telling me what I need to do exactly.
Map Editor
I need someone who can use Advance Map very well. I am not accepting Elite Map, mainly because, I don't know how to import a map into the game from Elite Map. If you can tell me how (me still using Advance Map) then I will omit this requirement.
Hex Editor
I don't personally know much about Hex Editing. If you are good at it, I don't even know how you can prove it to me. Because of this, I just want you to tell me what sort of stuff you can do with Hex Editing. You can send me either, Pictures, ROM's, or Video. Along with a detailed list of what I need to do (ROM only)
Sprite designer
If you aren't good enough to make a custom version of every single sprite in the picture (In the attachments) don't even bother continuing. If you CAN do every single sprite here, you must also know how to use UNLZ as well. To test you, I want you to send me a ROM you created with Jessie or James as the main characters (Both if you want to impress me). I will walk, run, bike, fish, fly, ect. So I expect every single sprite to be created. I understand this takes alot of time, but I think it's the only real way to prove yourself.
Title screen designer
I need you to be able to create a title screen for the ROM along with a custom logo, and Pokemon. I want you to make a title screen using any background, but the original. Also, replace the title from Pokemon Fire Red to Pokemon Example, and finally choose any bug Pokemon.
Story Creator
This position requires you to play through the game completely, upon every release (I will be releasing it myself). To prove yourself, Just write me a PM with a great idea for the Pokemon game. Try to make it original, because if it isn't I'm likely to not add you to the team. Once part of the team, you can also talk to other members about Maps, sprites, ect. Just make sure you run all your ideas past me before finalization.
Game tester
This is a necessary Evil. Anyone can be a game tester, however, I only need about 3. If anyone else on the team wants to be a tester, they have first priority. The game tester must walk around trying to exploit glitches. Any you find you are to relate to me.
