errr... most likely the gameboy game part.
the anime (Pokemon Advanced) is nice but downloading them is such a pain off of sites... x_x I gave up downloading them a while ago... now I just keep myself in touch with serebii.net's guides about them...

yup
while the game itself is cool, and the show as well, i loved it b/c when i went to places and stuff i got to know people b/c of it. It helped me meet some kewl people. And here i am now, meeting more kewl people! It pays off!

I don't really see much "good things" about some of the Pokemon games not on the portable consoles... like the stadiums and etc (hope the colosseum will be better now that it has the story mode). As for the TCG well some cards get some major imbalance *coughScytherclassiccough* and etc... so not the most enjoyable... not to mention constantly banning old cards and making new trainers that's just a nerfed version of an older card

I like the games (Gold, Silver, and Crystal) best. And the Manga. The anime is alright. Got a bit repetitive after the Indigo series. The games are the same old game over, and over, and over, but it's different when it's you as the Trainer. And the manga is just... Good! I don't know, it just is.

I agree, tmbjr. She's not herself and it makes me depressed for some reason. T.T;
Anyway... I personally like the Pokemon themselves. If it weren't for them, I wouldn't be nearly as interested in drawing or just art in general since I've been drawing the monsters for years. Most of them are really original and they're fun to draw and convert to my own style. ^^; The games and stuff are okay, but it's really the concept of drawing them which has tied me to the phenomenon for so long.

It's the manga (especially Pokemon Special and Pipipi) and the Gameboy Games for me. I don't really like the anime as much as both of them *nods head*

I was never very fond of the anime (it annoyed me, actually XD), and I can't find the manga anywhere, and also no one in my hometown plays the TCG, so my best bet is with the Pokemon games. I love them! I have played Red literally about twenty times, same with Gold, and I still love them! This is my second time playing Ruby, though, and I'm not very enthusiastic...I guess it's kinda getting old. But still, the games to me were the best.
