Pokemon in the "future"

    What do you guys think this games will be like in the "future" if they are still around? I don't know how realistic this is but what if they were like skyrim? he gym leaders could be the companions, Team Rocket could be the thieves guild, E4 could be jarls, Team Magma and Aqua could be the imperials and stormcloaks. I know this might not agree with some people cause it is so far from pokemon games' style, but it is just a random thought. So what about you?
     
    I would always think that if Pokemon DID keep going that it would be like SAO (sword art online) that you wear a helmet and you can look at stuff in 3D-4D... would be awesome...
     
    Grand Theft Pokemon. Do-whatever-you-want-in-an-open-world.

    Which means 3D FP-Perspective and every region included to explore.
     
    I'm still hoping that a (possibly non-GameFreak) game will come to the PC as a MMORPG where different regions and wild pokémon would be available depending on what expansion set you buy, and where people would level up their pokémon like leveling their characters in other MMORPGs, to take on each other and gym leaders. There should be quest chains featuring the villaneous team of the specific region, not necessarily following the original stories closely, and people should be allowed to form their own trainer guilds or crime syndicates as well as trade pokémon and items on auctions etc.

    All in a stunning, yet somewhat cartoony 3D world.
