    In this game i am gonna make you come into a new region that your mother, you, and Profeser (Oak or Birich havent decided on format yet) run to so they can be legal christians. but because of an evil group (or groups if r/s/e format) called the S.R.A, a group of satanics and atheists that do bad things and blame the christians so they are only legal in the starting town. Each gym leader also owns the town and when you beat them they decied to make christians legal. The point of Pokemon Jesus Freaks is to honor the martyers and has no religouis matter what so ever. I will put a filter on the game so you can pick and chose if you want to be a JesusFreak or just a trainer. I need alot of help and im still thinking about some major and minor game details so if you have ideas let me know. Also I suck at maps and sprites and can only text good. If anyone can help me id realley apprecaite it and also i dont care what religion you are if you want to help. This is just something for my school club Jesus4Nerds group. I dont wanna start debates so let me again say i am not trying to cause a problem and when done i dont plan on putting it here but might if requested. For now im just trying to finish i will most likely do regular rom hacks in the near future. God Bless!

    This game could work, me being a Catholic, I don't mind playing a christian game.

    Plz read the rules be4 making a thread.
    For now, when a MOD sees it, it will be locked.
     
    He's not breaking any rules at all.
    Granted it could be refined a little, but other than that he's following the rules.
     
    Eeveon, why is this not acceptable? I know he should list more features and stuff, is that why, or does the story have something to do with it. I think this is 100% alright.

    It was a force of habit(:P) because, whenever I see a hack that's just a paragraph or less, it's just a useless thread for help.
    Sry for accusing u.
    Seems like a good hack, but the title seems a little racist to me.
    The reason why is because other people who aren't catholic may seem offended by it.
    Other than that, GL! ^^

    How could this be racist, it is about a religion.

    "Jesus Freak" is not the best title, even Catholics (like me), may get offended by that.
     
    A. It would not be racism, it would be religious discrimination
    B. People who actually understand that "Jesus Freaks" means people are crazy about Jesus, wouldn't be offended.
    C. It doesn't matter if someone is offended by it, Whatman has every single right to create and release his idea.
    D. This discussion is going nowhere, and it has nothing to do directly with the hack.
     
    If you don't know Heatran, Jesus Freak is a slang that is used for movement that has little to do with the Catholic faith.
     
    Jesus Freaks is a ministrey. Its also a song by a christian music band dc talk. Also if i was catholic (which is also i christian just not protestant) i would be proud to be crazy about Jesus.

    Oh and I am crazy about Jesus.lol. This game is not meant to be racist at all and not inteneded to cause problems. Like I wrote above its just a thing for my school christian club.

    So can I grantee any helpers?

    There isn't anything in the scrapbox rules, and if a hack thread was ever closed because of religion, it was on the bias of the moderator who did it.

    Certainly, but you cannot make a scrapbox thread asking for help, you may offer open positions, but you cannot personally ask for help.
     
    If you want help on this please ask for help on a thread in the Team Discussion Section. Here you should just introduce the story and other details and like Heatran said, offer positions for a team (but we should not have discussion about it here).
