Sorry Makeshift, I overlooked your post. :cross-eye
It would be nice if you could rescript the opening so it isn't prof. oak. Can you do that? You could just resprite him(or retile, what ever he is). I was hoping it would be somebody like ansem. If you finish early post what you've done on the group page, I'll invite you.

okay, go ahead and insert some text into the oak intro thingy.
this is the text for the professor oak talking to you. Insert this text:
This is after the whole introduction stuff...
ie. Its for what Oak says to you right before you choose between a boy and a girl... and so on. I don't think you choose a rival, if you do just skip that part and go on until he the talking before "your adventure unfolds"

OAK: So much to do, so little time... Take your time. Don't be
afraid. The door is still shut. Now, step forward. Can you do it?

sounds pretty good but change the download link (make the .gba file an ips patch or else this thread will get closed)

Update: i cannot insert any sprites that need a pallette change atm because i am on my laptop which is password protected so i cant install irfanview :'(

yes i have done that i can change oak too but i would need a .pal version of a prof and i can get that from irfan but i cannot use irfan :\
