ok...let me see here. Try to raise Swellow up a bit. Replace Blaziken's ember with flamethrower. Replace Magneton's spark with thunderbolt. If you are able to do all that i guess it should good to go.

I agree. You appear to have a decent team, and should be able to conquer the Pokémon League. :)
Besides the advice already given, the only other thing you could do to better prepare for the pkmn league challenge is to raise your pokémon a bit more. You could also teach your Magneton the move Rain Dance, for the move Thunder has 100% accuracy under the condition it is raining. Also, apparently the power of the move Thunder is halfed under the condition it is sunny. I hope this has helped you ;)

how bout this: if ya still got no tm flamethrower, or not enough money, and no rematches available, get yerself a heart scale (if you have none go fishin for luvdisc) and go to the move tutor in falabor (or somthing like that), and get blaze kick. at this lvl, that should help aLOT on steven.

That's actually not that bad of an idea. The move Blaze Kick has the same chance of inflicting a burn (10%). Though it's base attack power and accuracy are lower than that of flamethrower (by 10), it does have a high chance of landing a critical blow.
If you like this idea, but don't have a Heart Scale available, you could always take a pokémon with the move Theif and a fishing rod to Evergrand City. You can catch Luvdisk there, a pokémon which sometimes will carry a Heart Scale.

Your team is high levelled enough to beat the weak AI in R/S/E. The E4 in that doesn't require Pokemon of extremely high levels. Keep trying, saving before each member helps too. It depends what attacks you're deciding to use each time when you battle against them and sometimes, it's just the wrong choice can affect the overall outcome.

Here's a list of basically evetyone's suggestions thus far...
1) replace Blaziken's move EMBER for the move FLAMETHROWER or BLAZE KICK.
2) replace Magneton's move SPARK for the move THUNDERBOLT, or teach Magneton the move RAIN DANCE.
3) raise Swellow up a few more levels

and everyone's advice...
1) Try to prevent Blaziken and Groudon from fainting, they'll help against Steven
2) The accuracy of the move THUNDER is raised to 100% under the condition it is raining, and it's power is halfed under the condition it is sunny.

And don't forget...

"... If ur short on money, get ur amulet coin on somone (get it from ur mom if u havent already got it)and fight Either Rich boys, ladys or old gentlemen. They give lots of money when u face them without the coin, double when u do..."

lol, you pulled a rabbit out of a hat. Noone even suggested the move Fire Punch. I actually forgot that Blaziken was even capable of learning that move. You brought him to the Move Tutor, correct? :laugh:
