So far this game looks awesome but we havent really started it yet,

    .:Storyline:.
You live on a small island to the west of the mainland. You have just turned 16, and you want to begin your pokemon journey, which means you need to travel to the mainland to get a pokemon from the proffessor over there, but there is a guard at the bridge blocking your way. you ask the guard if you can pass to get your first pokemon, he declines and insists you have pokemon with you, or he escorts you in a week, as travelling without pokemon is dangerous. So you decide to investigate a cave near your house until the guard can escort you. You are walking through the cave admiring all of the crystals when a Riolu jumps out! It doesn't seem to want to harm you, it looks like it wants to be your friend. you are so excited! your first pokemon! Now you can travel to the mainland! You head straight to the bridge with your new partner and the guard lets you pass, when you get to the other side, you hear an explosion like 30 bombs all going off at once, you decide to investigate. You arrive at the scene of the explosion to find 2 pokemon fighting, these are none other than dialga and palkia. but before you can do anything they warp away. An old man asks you to find dialga and palkia and return the opal stone that a mysterious organization has stolen from the top of mt.corrah! You decide to take on the old man's quest to return the opal stone, who is he? You'll find out...

    .:Features:.
Our own wi-fi server for online trading and battling,
    A phone,
    Maybe an e-mail machine,
    All new game music,
A new region, The region of corrah.
    Maybe some new pokemon,
    An awesome storyline!

    .:Team members needed:.
You will need to be a fast learner as we are using RPG MAKER XP.
I need a mapper that can work under instructions from SSBMMASTER (Cheif mapper)
I also need some scripters and some spriters.
I already have two team members but need more!

Ok this is the final straw. Im sick of all the frikin spammy threads. Sure this goes into the game developmnt area but hell it doesnt deserve to be open. You know how hard it is to create a rom. Not even the best hackers here can do that. And for nintendo ds huh. Yeah ok fine. Nintendo would leave a game made by fans spreading like wildfire to be in a lot of the fans hands in an emulation cart. Seriously I dont care if I got reported 1 million times or get banned for this but you just have to listen to mario and:

    ...wow....
    That was...pretty serious...
    But...It's in the wrong place!
As well as the fact that it's impossible.
You REALLY have to know what things can do before setting impossible goals...

Anyway everyone will hope that the game they made can port into handheld like Gameboy series or Nintendo. Yes, its possible, you can create ROM. But, you can't create a ROM using RMXP. There is no way to let a RMXP game port into handheld.

Well, if you look at my situation you'll know how difficult it is to find helps on this website...

Some things are just impossible. First if you can even get a rmxp game onto a DS cartridge I do not think it will play because the DS is not a computer, so it won't be able to open the game. But lets go out on a limb here and say you get the game done, get it on a DS cartridge, get it to work on the DS. I know, its a very large limb. You plan to pay for DS cartridges and distribute them with this game for free or absolutely no profit? Because of the Copyright on Pokémon, the games, and every pixel on the graphics you will end up using belong to Nintendo.

I have a better idea, make the game and distribute it as a file for free over the internet like everyone else here is doing. It will save you plenty of headaches in the long run.

Remember this is not a hack as we are not changing a rom we are creating one.
And the finished rom will be for nintendo DS.
Thats what made us think that. And also making roms is doable just very hard. Specially if for ds.

If you manage to get an RMXP game to run on a DS, we will all respect you as a god among men. Before that, try to set some more realistic targets.

And how did this even get approved without screenshots?

P.S. If no-one's made this clear yet, the DS is physically incapable of running an RMXP game. It doesn't have enough memory to be able to load a large tileset, as well as the multiple events and visual effects on the map. Let alone how hard it would be to make it understand RGSS. The only handheld I see RMXP games ever working on would be the PSP, and even that would only be able to be accomplished by an expert programmer.
