Yup, its a real pain to never have to die to complete the game (or else it will crash at all centers), but it is FAR FAR worse to only get past Misty because I do not have the required gym badge to use cut.

Its gamebreaking and I hope it can be fixed. Thanks for the work on the game.

New to this game, so sorry if I missed something obvious. I just downloaded the 0.21 zip (without any other earlier downloads) and when I try to start a game, I just appear in a room without any exits and a girl that lists all route/towns and the available pokemon there. It doesn't begin with the standard professor intro or anything. What should I do???
 
I am getting no sound when playing the current release, is anyone else having this issue?
 
I can't check sound as my laptop's sound isn't working anyway, but both the bugs that affected me are gone! Pikachu is back/pokecenters working great, and I can use my HMs.

it seems there are no audio files in the download, could you add them back in desbrina?

if anyone has them, can someone send them to me?

Question though will we ever have the Updater.exe again?
 
Do we have to start all over again or is there a way to keep our current save file?

Copied my old game.ini file from my old save to the new one and it works with the bugs fixed but says it is 0.19 which doesn't matter since it is still the contents of 0.21.

Should the game.ini file cause my save to disappear?

Save games are kept in
C:\Users\USERNAME\Saved Games

Future versions shouldn't need transferring since they will all now use the same folder, previous versions have the version number after the name

As for the updater, i was having problems with it on a few occasions and decided to remove it till i can redo it

I'd just like to take this time to thank you again. I know you've been thanked several times in this thread, but I've tried out many other pokemon games and this is by far my favorite.

Encountered a bug, after about 2 hours of unsaved gameplay.

In the casino basement and used the elevator to go from floor 1 to floor 2, and now it's crashed. I can't use menus or move or anything. :( :( :(
 
Thanks again for the update, the pokecentre crash has stopped now which is awesome. In my game however, the pikachu hasn't come back, was just wondering if anyone had the same problem or found a solution?
 
There's no way to resolve the pikachu bug in game at the moment since the event got removed when you blacked out. What you can do if you want is send me your save file Nd I can re-add the event. The only other way is to start a new game
 
Hi Desbrina,

I can confirm the bug in the Rocket Hideout of Celadon City. Whenever you use the lift to go to B2F you will be stuck and the game will crash or at least have the appearance of having crashed (no movement, cannot access menu).

All other floors work fine with the lift. I don't think this causes any issues in terms of blocking access to content.

Thanks for the great work. I'll continue to post any other glitches I encounter.
