nice looking forward to it... no offence but ur character sprites look off colour (colours dont match) to me...

No, light and shine are two different words. I'm NOT changing the name. Light is well, light! Shine means: to give forth or glow with light; shed or cast light.
light means: something that makes things visible or affords illumination: All colors depend on light.

I should put the poll in the first post.

So basically, you're confirming that their basically and not specifically the same name, and that in a sentence it would be "Shine of Light" or "Light Shine Forth"

I guess, but I like the name and if I didn't know about it THAT would be the poll at the top.
 
I always thought of it as being a short or even contracted form of "the light shines" or "the shine of the light". Also, he told me why he chose that name, so I also think it is a good name.

Basically, it's about hope, I think, even though that's not how he said it to me. When you add the darkness to the title, it doesn't have the same feel. Light of the Azure Sky seems to be talking about the sun - what else lights up the sky, after all - and although Azure Sky (which was what I first saw when I read "Light of the Azure Sky") would be a pretty name for a hack, this one has very little to do with the sky. They're all very nice names, they just don't fit.

Just thought I'd state my opinion on the subject. Nothing to get worked up over though.

I think that's Kaylee's idea. I don't want to take it because that would be stealing an idea from her unless I credit her. I don't want to make new pokemon unless they're evolutions. :P
 
Actually, you're already referencing me, I don't see why you couldn't use the light type. Even though you'd be using it differently than me. You'd already be acknowledging me for general assistance or something, right? One more thing shouldn't be a big deal. But in the end it's up to you.

Apparently, Kaylee, he's your biggest fan, he also considers you as his sensei :).
 
Whatever Will, I don't really want to use light pokemon. I don't have any ideas on it so I don't want to pick it up as I go. Everything I thought of here was thought of long before I started this.

Naw, really, I'm just trying to be helpful. I'm actually fairly new to all of this myself. I'm just trying my best, both to help and to put together my game.

And my objective in helping here, is to help him bring his idea to life. Because that's what I feel these hacks are about. And I thought this was a pretty good story.
