Pokemon Luster and Tarnish

    im a newb at this, so just bear with me...

    Features:
    New Region: Neru
    New Legendaries: ?????
    New Team: Team Solar/Team Dusk (depending on the game)

    Backstory:
    You begin your journey in your home town of Shine Town. The Pokemon Professor of your town, Profesor Maple, has been studying in the field of Pokemon for years now, and you plan on following in her footsteps. Your mom, who runs a breeding center, lends you one of her Pokemon to begin your journey.
    Not long after you begin your journey, you catch word of two ancient relics containing shrines to the Pokemon who govern Day and Night, as well as a primitive puzzle. You become fascinated with the relic closest to your home town and begin to investigate. You come in contact with an "excavating team" and boots you out of the relic. You're left with only your one Pokemon and your thoughts as you make your way to the next town and your first gym battle.

    That okay for a start? Any constructive criticism?

    EDIT: I decided to change it up a little. i hand-drew a map and chose to change a few elements. The underlines are what i changed.

    You are off to a really good start paperfunk.
    The story is really original and it seems pretty solid to me.
    The only problem i see is the name professor maple.
    its getting pretty old for a name.
    I would like to see this game get finished.
    but one question though...
    what game are you hacking?
     
    i was thinking emerald, but im still deciding.
    i'll work on the professors name then, as well.

    I have my own hack but people aren't commenting so i'm not getting very far ^^;
    But, yeah can I help?
    I can edit text, the sprites (hero and rival) tile, set pokemon wil locations. I can change the Game Freak Presents sign too.

    I don't think you should hack emerald unless you are really experienced at hacking.
    and if you want i can give you some names.
    and can i apply for a mapper?
    If you want proof just go to the map rating thread.
    But maybe the hack should be ruby because it has secret bases, berry growing, and a working clock.
    but firered has its advantages also.

    okay, emeralds out. lol, thnx for telling me, cuz i have no hacking experiance.
    names for what? pokemon, the professor, etc.?
    yeah, i need a mapper. ruby sounds good, i guess. i did like the secret base thing. we could make that even better than it was.

    Yeah, go search for EliteMap or AdvanceMap 9.0
    These are very powerful tools that edit the tiles of the game.
    they also have other features, but they can be quite confusing xD

    Oh... xD
    Yeah AdvanceMap is better, but if you dun wanna use Advance Map eliite map can help too. I find it easier to tile on EliteMap
     
    UPDATE:
    The region Neru shall be divided into two halves, divided by the Sepera River. the east side shall be shrouded in darkness all the time, while the western half is pure daylight throughout.

    More coming soon (including a bigger hacking team, i hope)

    So i'm guessing the pokemon world in here doesn't revolve?
    Maybe you should insert all the FR/LG tiles into ruby.
    Most of the people say that the FR tiles are better.
    Its just a suggestion though.
    And...I was wondering if you needed a map yet.
