There is no proof of it. Show some proof... besides a box art. Fans make false box art all the time just for fun.

I'm not accusing it of not beign true but it sounds like you're trying to get fans in high hopes for nothing.
 
Box Art? it was a Polygon game of u geta Pikachu then u battle in Virdian Forest and end up in Pewter City. It was a Demo I had in 1995. I just gotta find the DiSC cause its still in there. hmmm.
