Elysia sniffled cuddling closer to him as she cried "I'm afraid that if I don't tell you...the guilt it haunts me...that's why I keep waking up at night crying after all this time...I'm afraid you'll hate me more than you would if I told you if you heard it from him"
 
"Wait we can't leave little Aura here!" Cairo protested as he pointed at the Riolu, "We gotta wait for her, you know."

"Wait, so why don't you evolve, THEN put the everstone on you. That way you can evolve, and you can keep the everstone with you." Cairo suggested.
 
Cross answered,"I like being a Tyrogue, plus, I couldn't stand becoming a Hitmonlee, I'd lose a mouth!"

(Sorry ahead of time Aura)
He then looked at AuraSilver. Cross had always been impatient. "She taking too long, you're gonna have to carry her outta here."
 
"You can try to be a hitmontop, he looks cool - What?! Carry her?! Jeez, fine!" Cairo rolled his eyes and scooped up the little Riolu, then turned to Cross, "There, happy?"
 
"Yea, I'm happy!" Cross yelled. In truth, he really was happy. He had the best two pals in the world. He was happy they were going to be an exploration team, and he was happy to remain a Tyrogue, probably the strongest Tyrogue around.
 
Silver sniffled and sat up weakly.

I can't believe she would think that...

"Elysia... L-look at me..."

He waited until their eyes were locked together.

"Elysia... I will never, ever hate you... No matter how mad I ever get... I'll never hate you. You're everything to me..."

He wrapped his paws around her and held her very close, closer than usual.

He rested his head by hers, cuddling, his quiet timid voice in her ear, calm, gentle and relaxing.

"It's impossible for me to hate you... Because... I love you Elysia..."

He snuggled with her affectionately, feeling comforted that she has stayed with him all this time.

He mumbled to himself, a bit of a bad habit, he rarely keeps his thoughts in his head. His mumbling was so quiet it was almost inaudible. He meant for it to be in his head.

"I don't understand... I'm an emotional wreck... But you have always stayed by me... I love you... So much more than you will ever know... You mean everything and more to me... You are the reason for my smile, the sun that wakes me up, the moon that helps me rest..."

He was still mumbling, but he thought he was thinking it, not saying it. The things he was too shyto say to her. On purpose, anyway.
 
Elysia sniffled nuzzling him "You might rethink that in a minute" she whispered taking a shaky breath. "Your father found me...and as you know he attacked me which is how I got the scars on my back...but that's not all...h..he took me to where your mother was...Silver she was still alive....an..and he tortured me some more..b...before he...he made..me...." she cut herself off before she let out a sob "I killed her!"
 
There was dead silence. Not even the caterpie made any noise. Silver looked shocked. Speechless. Stunned. After a few minutes of silence, he closed his eyes. He opened them, shining light purple, even more gentle and calm than usual. He kissed her affectionately, on the lips, for what seemed like forever, and the he said:

"Like I said Elysia... I'll never hate you... Because I love you... With all of my heart. And there's no one and nothing that will ever change that. It was not your fault at all. The only one I can be mad at... Is father. I'm going to punish him... Extra-painfully... For doing that to you..."

He looked at her, after the kiss and the speech, he was still blushing, but he wasn't quite as shy as usual. He was serious. About her.

"I'll never, ever leave your side... I'll never hate you... I'll never try to hurt you... I will love you always... For forever and ever..."

his gentle words were like poetry. One of his favorite things to do was create art out of words. And love was always the source of his inspiration, so she was the one who always heard it...
 
Elysia nodded and whimpered lightly as she cuddled with him after the kiss. "I...i th..thought" she whispered nuzzling him still crying lightly. "I thought you'd hate me...I've felt so guilty.. This..this has done nothing but haunt me" she whispered still crying. "I should have never kept it from you" she whimpered.

"Elysia..."

Silver kissed her once more, all of his feelings in it. It seemed to last even longer than the first one. It probably was. When he finally finished it, he looked at her, his eyes looking extra soft and gentle.

"I'll always love you. I'll never feel any different... Nothing you ever say or do could make me feel otherwise... I love you with all my heart and more... In my eyes, you are perfect, inside and out... I'll love you always, Elysia... Don't you ever forget that..."

He smiled. More poetry, straight from the heart. All for her. He batted at her ear softly, playfully.

"Please cheer up.. I don't want you sad... Please?"

His eyes were shining at her, and he never felt so attached before.

"If anything ever happened to you... I... I-I don't know what I'd do... I would die of loneliness if you were gone..."
 
Just then a shadow ball shot past Cairo and hit Cross on the face, pushing him a few meters back. Cairo looked to the direction the ball came from and saw a Dusknoir looking at them with strange eyes.

"He's corrupted!" Cairo said, alarmed and placed his paws together, "Team Alloy, defend!" he spread his hands in the opposite direction and out came a metre-long bone of pure energy. The Dusknoir charged with his Fire Punch and charged towards Cairo.
 
Cross was taken off guard for a second as a shadow ball hit him directly in the chest. He heard as Cairo said to defend. Cross's pride took over him, even when he was hit by the attack.

"Hey, that's my line! I'm the leader here! Team Alloy, engage!"

Cross leapt up and hit a mach punch directly at the Dusknoir...and went right through him.

Crap, I'm a fighting type.

"Cairo! Take him down! I'll defend Aura!"
 
The punch went right through the Dusknoir, and the ghost pokemon was furious. He punched Cross in the stomach with Fire Punch and Cairo watched.

He might be the leader but I'm much smarter.

"I told you to defend, ya know!" Cairo jumped into the air and whacked Dusknoir with his bone, then sent an Aura Sphere right towards him. The Dusknoir took the hit, then dissapeared. Shadow Sneak. Cario closed his eyes and his black appendages covered his eyes. He was moving quickly, and was heading for Aura!

"Aura, watch out!" Cairo shouted as Dusknoir appeared behind her, with his fists glowing bright red.
 
Elysia wrapped her paws tight around him as her tears slowed. "I....I don't deserve you" she whispered nuzzling him as she said it. After a moment she touched her nose to his. "I don't deserve someone as wonderful, sweet, and caring as you." she said quietly looking into his eyes as she rubbed her nose against his lovingly.

"Stupid song!" said Evo. Evo was just walk down a path after helping out a friend. All he wanted was a little peace & quiet, though the song was in the way. He's heard about the song & doesn't want that. "I hope I find Helios Village soon. I need that necklace!" He heard about new exploration teams that get necklaces to prevent them from the song. He also wants to see new friends there. With these thoughts in his head, he continues running on his way to Helios Village.
 
Cross took the fire punch to the stomach. He was rattled for a moment, but he was still one of the toughest Pokemon around. The Dusknoir used Shadow Sneak, to which Cross saw him going for Aura. He lept quickly, his fist glowing bright yellow before gathering lightning at it.

"Thunderpunch!", Cross nailed a direct attack on the Dusknoir.
 
(Technically Nose-touches are animal's versions of kissing...)

She kept saying she didn't deserve him and he frowned...

"You deserve the whole world Elysia..."

He gave her a quick kiss before continuing.

"I should be lucky to have someone like you..."

He held her closer, and whispered in her ear...

"I love you no matter what... I promise..."

He kissed her cheek and snuggled with her, not wanting her to be sad...
