Before either of them had realized it, Silver had stopped in his tracks, he was about 20 feet back. He was staring at his paws, trembling.

Family...

He was shaking, staring down, frowning, and breathing deeply.

Family... I have none... My father... He attacked my whole family... Stupid old Arcanine is all he is... He had attacked mom, and brother... And me... He wasn't even under the song's spell!!

He started to cry, sad and angry.

Why would he try to kill us?? M-mom... Typhlosion... B-b-brother... Flareon... Silver... Quilava...

He was shaking in furious tears. And Elysia would surely know, because she had seen the entire thing with her own eyes.

I... I-I ran... And so d-did brother... Gold... B-but m-mom... Sh-she...

"Come on! Say it..." he could almost hear his father's evil voice in his head, tormenting him. "SAY IT!!"

He flinched at nothing and mumbled very quietly.

"M... M-mom's d-dead... B-brother... H-he ran... I c-can't f-f-find him..."

His words were almost inaudible. The story neither Silver nor Elysia told Sparky about. This was a very sensitive subject for Silver. The whole thing replayed in his head.

"WHERE IS IT!?" Arcanine roared. Mother replied, "Please, you shouldn't drink any more--" "SHUT UP! Tell me where it is NOW!!" Silver cowered behind his brother Gold, who was his twin. They both watched in horror. "GIVE ME IT NOW!" When mother ignored him, she was headbutted into a tree, leaving a bloody mark on it. Gold whimpered and then silenced himself in fear. Arcanine turned on him. "Do you two know where it is!?" he roared at them. They shook their heads, scared out of their wits, and he pinned them with his heavy paws. He glared at the Pachirisu who had been watching, roared, and she ran off. He was crushing Gold and Silver when mother jumped on his back, and he turned on her, his fangs extending slightly. Brothers ran in different directions. Silver crashed into Elysia, and passed out.

Elysia froze looking back at Silver and after a moment she rushed to him wrapping her paws around him as he cried bringing tears to her own eyes. "Shh, we'll find him...I promise I won't give up...we'll find him" she whispered tears streaming down her cheeks as she nuzzled her love trying to calm him down.

Sparky looked at Silver worried. "What are you talking about? I don't know what either of you are saying. This is so confusing." Sparky said looking back and fourth for an answer he probably might regret having. He heard slithering and saw a completely harmless Pokemon. He thought for a moment then walked up to the Wooper. "Hi there!" Sparky said in a happy tone then regretted talking as soon as he did when the wooper turned around it had completely evil eyes. It tried attacking him but a single thunder came down while it was in the air and knocked it out. "We should really be going. Please. I can't stand it any longer." Sparky said holding back tears.

(My group totally bailed on me :) )

Silver tried his hardest tobstop crying when he saw Elysia was about to as well. He sniffled and hid his head under hers, letting the pain of memory slowly go away.

"We'll find him,"

she promised. He seemed less than optimistic.

"H-he could be anywhere..."

Suddenly the memories blocked his vision once more.

"Run!!" Mother shouted and the two boys took off in opposite directions. Silver ran as fast as he could. He heard his mother's distinct shriek echo through the trees, and tears flooded his eyes.

M-mom... N-n-no...

He knew what it meant. She was gone. He ran into Elysia, a pink Pachirisu, and he was laying on the ground, crying his eyes out. He curled up shaking, his flames instantly put out, as tears puddled below him.

Th-they're gone...

His last thought drowned his mind in pain and sorrow before he passed out in front of her.

Silver's pain started to disappear slowly, as he was coming to his favorite memory: Meeting his love.

(I'll let you continue the memory, Marina :P)

Elysia kept nuzzling him as he cried a few tears falling down her face as she saw it through his eyes and remembered what happened after he passed out.

Elysia watched in shock as the Quilava she had seen before being scared off collapsed in front of her crying before passing out. She had heard the shriek from the female and instantly knew she was this Pokemon's mother...and also knew that the female was now gone. Elysia laid next to the Quilava protectively and nuzzled him watching as unconsciousness turned to sleep and she smiled nuzzling him and curling around him as sleep took her as well.

The memory continued.

Silver woke up, to find that the pokemon he had run into was sleeping beside him. He listened to her breathe, very sweet and calm. He started to open his eyes, when everything came back to him. Mom was gone. Gold is probably very far away by now. And dad... He's still out there, probably hunting for either of the brothers. Silver was now severely depressed. He had no family. He was all alone--

He remembered the Pokemon was still behind him, and starting to wake up. He turned and faced her.

"U-um... I'm sorry if I hit--"

He saw her. A Pachirisu with pink stripes. Her eyes were bright and calming, and he couldn't stop looking at her, blushing, dead silent.

(Keep the memory going Marina :o)

Elysia started crying softly as she remembered what happened after he woke up.

Elysia stared as the Quilava blushed. "It's okay you didn't do any damage." she said kindly "My name's Elysia by the way what's yours?" she asked him but before she could get an answer his father stepped into the clearing.

Elysia trembled crying harder not wanting to remember what happened next.

"I... I'm S-silver..."

he said shyly.

Elysia... What a pretty name...

He couldn't stop staring at her. Suddenly he flinched at his father's roar. Silver's bruises and cuts were clearly visible as he quivered. Father grabbed Silver and started dragging him, biting deep into his scruff, traing blood. Arcanine's claws were tainted with innocent blood. "HERE, I'VE GOT SOMETHING TO SHOW YOU..." he was obviously going to show Silver his murdered mother. This would destroy Silver. His tears dripped as father dragged him away.

"R-run, Elysia!! RUN!!"

he shouted at her. "I'll be back in a minute," father growled at silver, "You better not run..."

Silver cowered in fear as arcanine left. He was all alone in the forest, bleeding. Bleeding! His blood was a trail right to him! He closed his eyes and cried and shook. He told Elysia to run. Had she? Or did she try to find him? Father was gone, but not for long. He layed against the tree, too weak to move.

He tried to think about something happy. Nothing. But wait! He decided to think about Elysia. The girl he had only just met, but couldn't resist. She was the prettiest thing he'd ever seen. Thinking of her made him happy. He passed out, blood loss making him weak.

It's... A-all over n-now...

Elysia cried harder and stopped remembering since they could see what they where thinking. To this day she had refused to tell Silver what had happened to her just showed him the scars on her back and left it at that. Not comfortable talking about the torture his father had put upon her.

Cell froze when he heard the shouting and then he was gone, 'Running' towards the area where he thought he'd heard it. When he finally saw them, he was shocked. There were three of them altogether, a blue-flamed Quilava, a Pink-streaked Pachirisu and an orange Pikachu. The Quilava and the Pachirisu had each other in a firm embrace. Cell noticed the tears streaming down their faces and he floated forward another few feet.

"Are you all okay? What happened?"

Silver frowned more now. He knew the story was unfinished, and it hurt him that Elysia still hasn't told him. He could put the pieces toghether, obviously father had attacked her.

... Father... I swear this to you... Wherever you are, hear me now. I will kill you. I will fight even to my dying breath. For mom... For Elysia... For what you did to our family. I will make you suffer, a very slow, painful death. Even if my death comes to it too... No one hurts my love... Ever...

He wiped her tears as he cried. Seeing her sad only made him worse. He needed her to be strong. Because at the moment, he was not. He was still shaken from the flashback. His paws felt like jelly and gave out under him, and he couldn't move. Their only choice was to stay here and rest. He whimpered a little, shaking, tears dried on his muzzle. He moaned, barely making out Elysia's name. He needed her, more than she may ever know.

"Oh, there you are." Cairo patted the young Riolu then frowned, "Are you really up to it, Aura? Dungeons...really challenging."

Elysia sniffled cuddling with Silver as they both cried. She closed her mind off from him and Sparky as she remembered the rest of what happened and cried harder. Burying her face in Silver's fur as she did so. She fought a battle with herself before her voice cracked out "D..do..y.you want...to know?"

(I'm sorry I know this is supposed to be a serious moment, but the Apri.l Foo.ls day joke is hilarious on these posts.)

"The question is, Cairo, are YOU ready? We've got to leave soon, we have to be there by tomorrow. Pack your things. Adventure's waiting!"

"I'm always ready, Cross. I have nothing to bring with me." Cairo stated out, "But you're empty handed. And, really, Cross, you're still a tyrogue? You gotta evolve, man!"

(I know, it rocks lol)

She seemed to get worse as she asked if he wanted to know what she hadn't told him. He sniffled and tears dripped, and he kissed her, right on the lips, for about ten seconds, and he finally replied,

"If it's going to hurt you more... I don't want you thinking about it..."

He was blushing from the kiss, but looked sadly at her. He hated to see her in pain. He cuddled into her, trying to stop crying, for her sake.

Cross knew Cairo would be ready quick. He could always depend on him. Cross then reached in his pocket and show him his Everstone.

"It was given to me by my brother. I'm always gonna keep it with me. If that means I'll never evolve, then so be it. Let's hit the road!"
