Cross was tired. He had put a lot of energy into the punches. But if he tried to rest now, he'd put his team in danger. He looked at the faces of Cairo and Aura, and then charged once more. His fist was curled into a ball as he charged electricity into the palm of his hand. The energy expanded from one point in his palm and surrounded his fist. It then began to spark.

"Thunderpunch!", He yelled, as he poured what remained of his strength into one more attack.

The Dusknoir screamed in pain and dissapeared in thin air....pokemon seemed to be more powerful after they're corrupted. It could make Cairo faint in just 1-2 hits, and that was pretty hard to do if it was a normal pokemon...

Evo tried to sleep, but his eyes weren't tired at all. He decided to just take a walk in the forest & find a few berries. "Why can't I sleep? It's night already & I'm not even sleepy!" As he finds a few berries he tries to remember his past. Nothing. All he remembers is that dark figure. Shaking that thought out of his head, Evo continues to pluck berries out of the bushes.

Cross watched as the Dusknoir vanished. He then fell automatically on the spot, and managed to say, "We'll rest here", before drifting off to sleep.

"You and me both!" Blue flames erupted from the cynaquil's back, expelling so much heat in one moment that the air seemed to ripple a little. "I still have a headache from the last time I heard it."

He caught up to his companion, walking side by side with him. He lowered his head and focused on the ground in front of him. "I wonder though…how do the others feel? You know the ones that succumb to the song. I wonder what goes through their head…and if there's a possibility of being able to bring them back without any large confrontation."

Cell thought deeply about what Vash said.

"I don't know. We'll have to find out though. More and more pokemon will succumb to it until only the few that have the necklaces will be normal. And even then, who knows if these necklaces will be a permanent fix. They might not protect us from the song forever. The song might eventually over power us even with the necklaces."

Cell looked down.

"The only way for us to find a way to break the song is if we fight those who are possessed by it. To fight them, we need to get stronger. I think we should recruit more pokemon to our team Vash. The two of us might not be able to survive on our own."

(better continue) Evo still didn't feel tired after finding berries & eating some. "I have to hit the hay soon." Evo wanted to sleep, but then he remembered that nightmare he had for the past few days. There was only a dark figure that tortured him. He doesn't know why, but he thinks it's connected to his past that he can't remember; memory loss. "Maybe I'll think about it later." His thoughts were interrupted when he see's someone nearby. It was a Purrloin. She looked like she was walking towards Helios Village. Evo goes up to her & greets her, a little nervous. "Um, hello. I'm Evo. What's your name?"

Cross woke up. He ached at a few places, but he's not giving up just yet. Cairo was still out. He had to get him up. He nudged him up, "We gotta keep moving now, Cairo."

Cross stretched and put his bandanna back on. "

Helios Village awaits!"

"That's exactly what I was thinking. So, while we're off to the guild, we should scout out when we can. Hopefully we can find someone who can cover that can cover our weaknesses." He looked down at the everstone once again.

"And I've always have this for…a more drastic situation." He then stopped, as a idea sparked into his head.

"How about we go test ourselves right now? We can spar each other…or fight someone else." He took a glance around the area. There were a few pokemon out and most were sticking to the trail. "Wouldn't be hard to find a wild one."

Cairo opened his eyes slowly, and he felt strange...

He got up and closed his eyes, concentrating, then found the problem.

"He broke my shield...!" Cairo gasped, "I am no longer immune to the music, we'll have to go now! Aura you going?!"

Cell jumped up and down whilst grinning.

"All right! Let's do this!"

He floated upwards a little bit, scanning the surrounding area. He noticed movement over in a more forested area.

"Hey Vash, I see something moving other there! Let's go!"

Cell ran on ahead, eager to challenge his new foe. He kept building up speed, and hurtled towards the Pokemon. He pulled his fist back.

"Dizzy Punch!"

Cell punched the pokemon with all of his strength, and then punched it again. The combined force of the Dizzy Punches knocked the pokemon into a tree. When the pokemon stood up and turned around, Cell's eyes went wide. The Zangoose had fury in its eyes, and it started advancing towards Cell, sharpening its claws on themselves.

"Crap!"

The Zangoose lunged at Cell, and hit him with a slash. The attack sent Cell flying into a nearby tree.

"Dammit! I shouldn't have charged in like that....Ugh...."

(OOC:I can't believe I missed 4 pages just because I didn't post yesterday!)
Mountains were rough. But Inferno wanted to be in an exploration team. He wanted to be immune to those dark songs. He just walked quietly, thinking about all these things which might happen during the explorations. Then he started to climb the mountain. On the top, he noticed that forests and plains became small. And then he saw a village, covered in snow. So that was Helios village. Confirming the direction, he returned to the road. With a smile, he continued his journey.

"Ugh..." Cairo shook his head. His body still aching because of the fire punch. The corruption must had multiplied its power, "Helios isn't so far from here, but a 2 hour walk is required. Tell me when you're ready to go."

The Dusknoir made Cairo think. If one single corrupted Dusknoir can do that damage, I really have to lighten up. He jumped onto a tall, flat rock and sat down. He went into a state of extreme focus and felt his aura chanelling inside him. His four black appendages at the back of his head rose as he focused, and acted like 'aura recepters'. Meditating always helped him improve his skills.

Cross watched as Cairo began to meditate. He never believed in those silly things, as he believed the only way to improve your skills and get stronger is through intense training, night and day, which is what he did. But Cross let him have his silly meditation. He was troubled that a single Dusknoir was this powerful as well, so he decided to practice some moves on some trees for a bit, until they were ready to head off again.
