Silver, a half hour after Elysia, woke up. He really did need sleep. He kissed her as he awoke.

"Good morning..."

He mumbled, still waking up, stretching, yawning, shaking his fur. He sneezed a bit of fire into the air, and sat upright and sniffled. He yawned again, getting it all out, before totally waking up. Silver huugged and held onto her, smiling, snuggling close.

When the Tyrogue attacked, Cairo was right behind him. When the Rhyhorn was in range, he leaped into the air and did an aerial somersault. Cross attacked with Close Combat below, and his last attack pushed Rhyhorn away. Cairo landed right behind the confused Rhyhorn and jabbed him in the stomach with his elbow.

The Rhyhorn tumbled onto the ground weakly, but the following thing made Cairo's jaws dropped. The Rhyhorn started to grow in size. His horn was longer and pointy now. He was now two-legged instead of four. He evolved into a Rhydon.

"Evolution in battle?!" Cairo shouted as he jumped back as Rhydon drilled the ground before him with his new horn.

Inferno was already sure that the team would be great. All were strong. The Jolteon asked why did he help them. The Infernape just smiled at them and started to punch and kick the corrupted Surskit fiercefully. A nice battle it was. They did their best. The Tyranitar punched an another surskit and said: "You two should get outta here with Piplup. I have a score to settle with someone. A certain Floatzel needs to meet my fists of wrath."

"Are you sure?" Inferno asked. "You might get paralyzed like last time. If you insist on taking care of them alone, I'll also insist on joining you. That team has to pay the price. Hey you there, Jolteon! What do you think?" Inferno quickly asked the pokemon. He was already taking out an another blast seed to throw at other corrupted pokemon.

"Wait what?!" From what Evo heard, he had a feeling a fight would occur outside the dungeon.

What should I do? If they're gonna fight that team outside...I should help too!

Evo thought about this very clearly, then spoke up. "Well, if you're gonna fight them, then so am I!" He had a determined look in his eye showing that he was prepared for what was coming to him. Although, Evo didn't feel right about this.

Evo put Piplup on his back, turned to Tyrant & the Inferno & nodded to both of them. "Let's go."

(Marina told me to have them find a note from Sparky saying he was backing out of the exploration team)

Elysia blushed and smiled as he held her after kissing her. "Sleep well?" she asked happily kissing him again lovingly before giggling as her stomach growled loudly. Looking around she thought of something. "Where's Sparky?" she asked.

"Good. Now it'll be 3 on 3. I'll warn you right now, though. These guys have strategy. But before we head out with this Escape Orb I found, I should introduce myself. I'm Tyrant. You can plainly see I'm a Tyranitar, and it's time to own those three basterds who stole my equipment." Tyrant said.

"Hopefully...I can beat the three of them." Tyrant thought deep in his mind in hopes of being able to actually defeat Floatzel, Gallade, and Aggron.

"I haven't seen or heard from him after--"

He became a little sad, remembering.

"A-after you... Disappeared..."

He really didn't want to think about her vanishing. It hurt him when he did... Her stomach growled. He dug into his bag and pulled out a big apple and rolled it to her with his muzzle, then placed a few gummies and an oran berry beside them. (Three-course meal XD) He reached into his bag and ate a single plain seed. Nothing more. He had a very awful eating habit, of almost never eating, and wheen he did, it wasn't ever much. His bones were clearly visible...

He pretty much didn't even seem to notice the apple, he was busy with some thoughts in his head, which were causing his flames to flicker on and off sometimes. Probably making up new moves, like he always does. He probably would have rejected the apple anyways, with his odd eating disorder.

Cross smiled with pride as the Rhyhorn was pushed back, only to find it now transforming into a Rhydon. That's just great, Cross thought to himself. Cross lept out of the way as the Rhydon charged with his drill. He leapt up from above and unleashed a Mach Punch on its head, causing it to become temporarily confused.

"Now's your chance Cairo, take it down!" Cross yelled, a bit tired and damaged from the attack he hit him with a bit earlier. Cross prepared one more attack in case he was still standing after Cairo's. He bent his knees into a crouch and gathered his strength to his right fist.

Cairo heard Cross's command and a ball of blue aura was formed in his right paw. He leaped, and when he was directly above the Rhydon, he bashed him with the Aura Sphere, that sent him flying until he bounced off a wall. Cairo beamed with happiness, and turned around, smiling at Cross.

But then the Rhydon appeared from behind and stabbed Cairo's back with his megahorn at full power. Cairo screamed in pain as he stabbed his rather fatal organs, and blood started to flow out of his body like a river. Cairo knelt on the ground and fainted.

Cross stood there horrified as his teammate was badly injured. In a mad rage, Cross yelled and attacked the Rhydon. His Close Combat attack was so powerful, it knocked the Rhydon out cold, but also did heavy damage to Cross. He went to his fallen comrade.

"Hey Cairo! Cairo, man you can't give up yet! You're not through!" Cross considered going back, but he knew if Cairo were awake, he would want him to continue. Cross turned to Aura, and shook his head. Cross ripped off a part of his cloth to stop the bleeding, and helped Cairo drink a Super potion. "Come on Cairo, we're on the third floor! We're almost there! Don't give up! Don't die on me, that's an order!"

Cairo didn't answer. Imagine a horn that big piercing through his body, to be exact, right through his chest. His hands were twitching weakly as he drank the super potion, and the bleeding stopped a little, but only a little. If Cairo was fully awake that that moment, he was going to kill himself for being too careless.

the Rhydon took the attack and lied on the ground, out cold. There was a blood stain on his horn - Cairo's blood.

"C-Cr..." Cairo spoke, ever so weakly.

Cross held back tears. He had to at least appear strong in heart in front of his team, event if he wasn't on the inside. "You're not dying on me, Cairo. I'm not letting you. You have to stay here. The bleeding's stopped, but you are in no conditions to move. I'm going to find that Alakazam and we'll get out of here together. I'll be back soon. I'm not leaving you. I'll get you help once we get back." He turned to leave, and looked back again, "You can't die on me Cairo, you just can't." He looked at Aura. "Look after him."

After what seemed like an hour, Cross had found the entrance to the 4th floor. He had ran into a few more zubats on the way, but quickly disposed of them. His mind wasn't even on the mission. His mind was on the life of his best friend, Cairo. He looked around and found the Alakazam. He barely spoke to him as he retreated back to the 3rd floor where Cairo was.

"Hey, Cairo, I'm gonna carry you back. Don't talk, you have to save your strength. You'll be alright, I promise."

Cross wasn't sure if Cairo will be alright. He might not make it, so he had to hurry out of there. He picked Cairo up, and began to move.

Cairo managed to smile a little as Cross returned with the Alakazam. Cairo turned his head slowly, with his paw on his large wound. The super potion didn't really help, the wound was too big to heal and blood started to seep out again. Cairo moaned in pain, but slowly went silent as more blood seeped out. He was losing consciousness, and he may not be able to wake up.

Thank you, Cross. Cairo sent a weak thought into his brain through telepathy, and a drop of tear rolled down his cheek. He didn't know if he was going to make it, but judging by the situation, he wasn't.

Cross ran desperately through the rest of the floors of the cave. He wasn't going to let his friend die. He had to get back to town and get help. As he made it to the outside of the cave, cross ran with intense speed as he rushed to help Cairo. He let tears fill his face a little as he heard Cairo's words.

"Stay with me, friend. Don't go to sleep, or you might not wake up! Listen to my voice, let that keep you up! You're not going to die, you're not!"

After what seemed like an eternity to Cross, they arrived back in town. Cross headed straight to the Pokemon Center, where he gave Cairo to the Chansey. The Chansey rolled him into the medical room, and Cross sat down and wiped his head, before realizing he was covered with Cairo's blood. He was shaking badly, and stood up to go see Cairo in the other room, but the nurses wouldn't let him go back there. Cross nervously walked back and forth, wondering how he was doing.

Cairo heard his words, and he could see tears rolling down from Cross' cheeks, but he couldn't do anything about it. He was too weak for words. He couldn't even send anything through telepathy now.

Cross told him not to fall asleep, but when they arrived, Cairo couldn't hold any longer, and slowly closed his eyes.

Cairo was sent into the operating room, unconscious, and weaker than ever. He managed to Chansey's words, "Good thing the Tyrogue was fast enough, or the Lucario's dead by now."

Cairo couldn't move, smell, feel, or even think. He didn't know where he was. And for a while, he couldn't feel any pain. Was he dead?

Cross paced back and forth for, to him, felt like hours. In fact, it had only been minutes. As the Chansey stepped outside, Cross looked at her, hoping for good news. Chansey shook her head. "I can't say for sure if he'll make it. He's unconscious now. Probably will be for a while. We've done everything we can. Now, it's up to him."

Cross looked down. It wasn't the answer he wanted, but at least he wasn't dead...yet. Only time will tell. Cross sat down and covered his face. He didn't know what to say to himself. He didn't know what to think to himself. If Cairo didn't make it, Cross would blame himself, because he is the leader, and he was supposed to look after the team. He felt he failed him.

Chansey walked back into the operation room to check on the unconscious Lucario. She continued to treat his bleeding wound, but the wound was still too big, time was needed to stop the bleeding, and she didn't know if he could hold any longer.

Suddenly the alarm rang, and Chansey panicked, trying to inject some blood back into his body. It was working but not fast enough, "We're losing him!"

"Nice to meet you, Tyrant." Inferno said to the Dark-colored Tyranitar. He knew that there will be a big fight. That there would be a small chance of avoiding injuries. He sighed, trying to calm himself from those thoughts and said "I'm Inferno." Then he turned around towards the Jolteon. "3 is better then 2. But I'm not sure if we will be able to defeat that Floatzel, Gallade and Aggron. But together, we will show them our teamwork!" Inferno thought, holding the blast seed firmly.
