I was wondering if they would make a remake to tie in with gen 5 as the second game really was awesome . Has there been any news bout it?

They don't remake the dungeon games, they just add them on as they go.

I think we will get one this generation, along with a lovely new Ranger game. We always get a new PMD for each generation (Starting from the 3rd Gen obviously.)

As for Hybrid's post; The storyline's between the main games and spin-off's do not connect, therefore, the storyline's do not need to connect either. |:

This one will be for the 3ds... OR like red and blue, One for the DS, one for the 3DS.

Whether there will be an PMD game or not at all remains to be seen - there probably will imo, but not for a while and the only 'news' were in the form of fake rumours. Remakes however I doubt - Game Freak has been the only game company with Pokemon games to do that yet and that's for rather old games - PMD (correct me if I am wrong) hasn't even hit near 10 years since its debut if memory serves, nor were they as popular as the main games either to really show that they would be worthwhile for the company making said games to remake it from a sales point of view.

To be honest i'm not sure they could make one "/
Pokemon B/W were based around the urban scene and all of the pokemon mystery dungeons have been based on a very natural un-interfered type of thing.
It would be really hard to write a story line that wouldn't contradict the previous stories.

Yes because Mystery Dungeon games often take place within the same world as the main series Pokéon games, and all spin-off games take great care to place themselves within the established canon of Game Freak's works.

Anyway, Chunsoft haven't been doing that much lately - they pumped out Shiren 4 and 5 last year and released some random DS game early this year but there's not been much since, and there's been no Pokémon Mystery Dungeon for a while - so it wouldn't be a surprise to see that they've been working with the 3DS tech for a while, or working on what they did for the Wiiware Mystery Dungeon games.

Yep that's true, I'm just wondering where all those humans are.
but anyhow Mystery dungeon worlds are on places without humans or when humans left (red rescue team, power plant ruin thing).
Also I think they will be on an somehow more urban setting, which means that there is more than 1 town, which will be unlocked later in game.

As of yet there is no news about a Gen-5 PMD, but I'd like to see it anyways. It's among my favorite Pokemon spin-off games (overly narrow superlative? meh).

So as Mega Shock pointed out, Chunsoft's been sort of quiet recently. It's possible, and could almost fall within the realm of "likely". It would be interesting for them to do the Deconstruction/Reconstruction type of thing they did with Black and White. Better explanation of the dungeons, for one (though I'm not expecting this), and more emphasis on the life of the once-human character.
