The new screenies look nice, just the tile error with the double story house, but of course you already know that and your going to fix it lol.
We are using the same rom base :D
It looks the exact same as mine so I'm guessing you have the Premium one?
I can insert D/P Pokemon for you if you like?

I'm getting Blazikenbud to change some tiles and colors, so it won't look the same as your game :3
( and yes, I know about the house, I was just to lazy to fix it )
Not that much progress today, I've started on another hacking project.
I won't stop this one though :3

Thanks, the .25 Pre-Beta is about 40% done.

It will only include the beginning of the story, and half of the starting island.

Hmm...

Well the Main Town is about the size of Viridian, and includes a beach.

The Area with your house is about the size of Route 1

The Forest ( Spoiler ) is the size of Pewter.

What do any of them have to do with the sea or water?
 
Well Elekid can beat a water type

A tyranitar can learn water type moves

A beldum is useless

So im saying a horsea isnt all great you cant have a kingdra on this for one

You should start with Chinchou or a Poliwag and that would be cool

Why on Earth would you not be able to get Kingdra? It's relatively easy to edit evolutions, especially when you've got Darthatron around.

The storyline is very well done. Good job on writing it!

And the palletes flow well together.

The only thing that I'm disappointed about is the lack of well...stuff. I'm not sure how to word it...you left me wondering a lot about the hack. Just hoping you post a bit more information or screenshots or somethings... :)

Exciting storyline! I'm looking forward to see progress on this hack. But Horsea as a starter?! Wouldn't it be better with a Pokemon that evolves by level or by a Stone?
 
As a big fan of Lovecraft, I'll be really looking foward towards this. What Lovecraft stories inspired you to write the plot/hack?

It sounds...well, attractive (is all I can say)! It's just a matter of wanting to die to play. And I simply can't wait (gosh, already?). :D
 
i like this hack. original and sinister. i realy love a game with a good storyline, it just makes everything worthwhile. like KOTOR or sumfin

Ps maybe if ppl arnt happy with horsea you could have some other starters to find later in the game. like what happened with yellow or sumfin, where you get charmader, squirtle and bulbthingy later. maybe you find another of your father's pokemon while you're folliwing his tracks. just a thought...
