Pokemon Nicknames

Do you give nicknames to your pokemon or just keep the origional names?
Also if you do nickname them then what name have you came up with?
Personally I dont nickname mine, what about you?

I name all my Pokemon. :) It's hard to keep up with all my names, but here are some:

Frankenbat / Swoobat (because Swoobat looks like a bunch of bat scraps thrown together)
Dentist / Excadrill (dentists drill. excaDRILL. put it together lol)
Obamasnow / Abamosnow (who DOESN'T name them that?)
notQuilava / Tranquill (quil is in its name, but it's not Quilava)

I have tons more, but cbf'd typing them all.

I name pretty much every Pokemon I get. I like to give my Pokemon names that correspond to what kind of Pokemon they are, but I also try to keep them clever or at the very least "neat".

Example:
Drifblim is named Hindenburg, and I use Explosion a lot.
Chandelure is Lumiere (Beauty and the Beast reference)
Jellicent is Doug E Doug, actor that played the Jelli in Shark Tale
Tirtouga is Tokarr, TMNT

I keep the original names of my Pokemon because it's hard for me to think of good nicknames.
