I made myself a todo list and spent all day yesterday trying to complete it

I have added in all the pokemon into the game all 151, and currently in the prosses of adding all the enemy pokemon stuff (base experience etc)
then im going to added in all the moves
which will likly result in minor code changes

The system itself is finished but the information isnt in there if that makes sense

all the calculationare are in there and when to calculate but ow im telling it what to calculate

there is soo much work to be done
we need a menu graphic one that looks really pokemony
and all the other nice liitle pictures
but its pretty much done
a few more things to complete and then hopefully we will be done with the battle system
 
Oh sorry I have been gone too long. If statements eh? Pretty simple. Isn't l l the simbol for or?

What raz said, even if the menu was crappy, hurt my feelings. The bar didn't even load...

You said you need a menu...
So I took time off other things making one...
!!! Idea! You can input a Menu Style feature so you can choose a menu!
I'll just even the sides of my style.

Its just by menu i meant game menu not battle system menu
sorry about that

if you look on the second or third or maybey 4th you'll see my "atempts", which will never happen again, at making an in game menu

Just finisheing up the status effect system of the battle system
it wasnt working at all so im rewriting the code for it
i think the problem was that i changed the layut of other secsions of the battle system which kinda skiped status effects

so i just finished confusion which took about 2 hours, most of that was trying to figure out what i had done and y the interface wasnt working

i'll try to finish up the other status conditions tonight
but today its statnio's birthday so we wi'll be having a party with him
my hope is that by the end of Jan we will have most of the work done this includes
PVP battle system finished
same with wild and npc battles
and a few other nice things like pkmn storage, pokedex etc
have a working GUI
Samsons helping out with that, so welcome samson to the team
our Jail system
Swear filter
then a genral tidy up
add in the gym leaders alothough i doubt we wil lbe able to map all that so quickly

once the dev team is satisfiyed we will have our realease then we will start adding in all our other features.

When you have time after this project and school and such, you are sooo teaching me how to code. I demand it :P But seriously, I want to learn to code like you!
 
Trial and error - its the ultamit way to learn, that and
"hello world"

Any way i just finished putting frozen status into the battle system
i have to finish the status's brefore i can stick moves into the battle system

there isnt much left on the PvP battle system
then it wont take much to comvert it to wild and npc battles
 
Great! When will the Demo be out? Trial and error requires you to know what the hell your doing... so I need someone to teach me that!
 
This looks great. I like MMORPGs. One of my Fav ones is runescape.
 
I can't make anything good in Paint anyway.

A new idea. Once you're done wth the battle system, can you create a few arena-type maps and make a small online battle system demo? It would have...

Choose one of the 9 starters (excluding Pikachu), they would start at L5.
Battle with other Trainers.
a VERY small Pokemart selling Potions and stat-cure stuff.
Online capabilities.(of course :P )

I think that would make all the 'lol can i downlode th gema 2 try it/' people happy.
 
little question

is this going to be one of those mmorpg's where you can only play out the half of the game if you are a free player and you need to be a paying player to play out the whole game
