Pokemon Opal (Australia Based Game)

More concept art on the way and many stats and movepools planned. Once I have sprites or good digital art for each fakemon I'll be able to make the tumblr page or something similar.
 
I have been making steady progress on the dex and I'm going to be releasing an demo game (details on OP) soon.
 
woo havnt been on the forums in a while... lol. well.. pm the details about the pokemon/fakemon you want me to draw up. lol. cant really draw them up with only knowing what the name of the pokemon is. xD

Is there anything in-particular you can comment on, or better yet anything you can contribute. Even the smallest things are a big help.
 
My planning for the Dex and gyms will be done soon and more art is being created right now. I haven't abandoned you, I'm still working on this!

REALLY like this idea. I've honestly always wanted something like this, and gimmiepie I think maybe he might have meant the images wont load. I had similar problems, a bunch of them don't load. Majority of them do, though. Anyway, just wanted to say I 100% want this, and if you need my opinion on something, feel free to ask. From Australia as well, so I'm keen on this.
 
Well anything you have an opinion is good. The art problem is new so I'll get around to fixing that soon.
 
AWESOME concept mate! Glimpsed upon this a few seconds ago and I was drawn to it immediately. I'm rubbish at computer art but I can probably pull off a few decent pictures with pencil on paper, so I was wondering if I can help at all with some art. Also, I'm good at writing (or so my English teacher says, but I don't trust him...) so I may be able to help with storyline/characterisation/etc. Once again, excellent concept and a fresh idea with potential if developed correctly.
 
Lumenos some help writing the story would be great! I haven't been able to do much since my laptop charger just died but I'm working on it. I do have an artist doing the designs of humans but I could use a hand with the remaining fakemon too :)

I'm trying to do anything I can without my laptop.
 
UPDATE: I'm going to be making some small changes to the dex in that I'm going to remove a few of the suckier fakemon ideas and replace them with a couple of newer ideas so some things you will be seeing will include
- Jack-O-Lanturn fakemon (grass/ghost)
- Lightbulb Fakemon (electric/steel)
- Male and Female dancer pokemon (ghost)

Other changes to the dex may include cutting the number of pokemon I plan to use (only by a small amount) or replacing them with gen 6 pokemon of the same type if I haven't gotten past this stage by October.

I have completed planning up to the poison gym at this point.

Planning of towns has begun.

Planning of rival teams has begun.

Battle Island will now be the site of a battle frontier although there is going to be a twist.

Pending changes to the dex it is at this point over half way complete in regards to descriptions and move-sets of fakemon. I'll be updating the OP according to this post soon.
 
Hello I am also making a Fakemon Pokemon game about Australia and I want to know how you were able to make your map look like Australia or at least feel like Australia because I'm having a little trouble with it if you have any tricks or tips for me that will be very appreciative
