4th Gen Pokemon opal revealed!

..You told me.. if you looked back i think i apologized.. i've had enough of people telling me off again and again for being naive. Sorry, i was taken over by naive-ness. I still think it'll be called Opal.
 
Anyway, just looking at the picture of the game makes me thought it was a fake... From an infographist point of view (and I am one...), there's too many details that goes wrong compared to D & P.

I'll believe the release when it'll be officially announced.
 
In 1 or 2 weeks le avatar wat 1 or 2 more weeks. We know its going to be announced. Well me I dont know if tolberone was brain washed to believing its not going to be announced in a week or 2.
 
Nobody said it wasn't going to be announced, I wouldn't count on it happening til one of the next few issues of Coro Coro though.

Nobody brainwashed him into anything, we knocked some sense into his head and pointed out that you guys are ranting and raving over an April Fool's joke, and a bad one at that.
 
May issue wich is in a week is revealing a new pokemon game. What frikin rock have you been under for crying out loud. Its the biggest news!
 
I don't devote myself to every bit of Pokémon news, the rock I've been hiding under is called a life.

I dunno, I halfass hope that the Pokémon game that they annouce is a Gold/Silver remake. That'd rock so much harder than the third game in the Diamond and Pearl series.

Gold and Silver was my Diamond and Pearl, it was the game that defined awesomeness to Pokémon for me.

Where Red and Blue were extremely addicting, and I loved every hour I put into that game, enjoyed every battle that I used my trusty Clefairy in... Gold and Silver revolutionized Pokémon for me. It was so much better- the world was bigger, and just seeing and hearing all of these new Pokémon for the first time excited me, there wasn't a dull design in the bunch!!

Then Ruby and Sapphire came out, and I thought that was the worst of the games, because while it had better graphics, the designs for a good 75% of the Pokémon sucked, and the legendary Trio, represented by the three Golems Regirock, Regice and Registeel, honestly disgusted me. Not to mention that they took one giant leap backwards, taking away the phone calls from the other trainers calling you for a rematch, letting you know the Pokémon that was swarming... A lot of things, including the Day and Night.

They redeemed themselves with Diamond and Pearl, but in a Gold and Silver remake, with all the old features revamped and put in the game, would be Pokémon perfection.



So yeah, enough of my own rambling dreams and such.

I didn't realize that Coro Coro's May issue was the one that would be releasing the information, as I normally get my news from Serebii.net.

Amen to that! I was 10 when Gold/Silver came out, it was the most amazing thing ever for Gameboy Colour. I seriously don't think I ever played anything else for like a year.

They were also the last Pkmn games I played properly till last month. So yeah, I'm also halfass hoping for a GS remake, rather than a continuation of DP.

None of us have said that a new Pokemon game won't be coming out, Toblerone, and Dark Cookie. Just the source you guys were using isn't/wasn't the most reliable! The magazine will definetely set the record straight, but as Oniko said we don't spend all day looking at Pokemon news. Us older guys have college/school/university, jobs, etc. So we don't really know everything right away, but we can usually tell a crappy source :P

We might enjoy playing the games in our spare time, but that spare time is usually pretty limited!

/me hopes for GS revision 2! :D
 
Ok so yeah whtevr. Also my first generation was silver/gold/crystal so yeah I know how feel about a g/s remake. But it would be really cool if it happens out to be that.

Yeah, but see, that was your first version, so you didn't really get the full effect of the "OH MY GOD!!" that we older fans did.

I know, the remake would rock everyone's world, but I know for a fact that it would affect the older fans much, much more.
 
The omg effect I got it when playing hoenn. Grr the crapiest gen to start on but thats not my fault. Anyway I still hope its opal. Also they made a list of all rpgs in coro-coro with a big 2008 question mark after D/P and FR/LG wernt on the list. Its opal I tell you.

yes, it would effect the older fans much more, i have played B/Y/S/C/R/E/FR/D (didnt complete the 3rd generation games though) but loved them all, especially when i played blue for the first time, it was one of the best games of its time, it revolutionised portable RPG's, and was truely brilliant.

then Gold/silver and then crystal came out, and for people like me it truely gave me that spine-tingling OMG factor that you guys have been talking about. i really would buy it on release day if thay released a G/S remake.

but a follow on from D/P would be nice to mind you, but i think i would like a G/S remake more.

dont forget that in G/S you could visit kanto too, this would be awesome on the DS

Τhe list has all the pokemon games up to now here is what it says
1996-pokemon green/red
1999-pokemon blue/gold/silver
2000-pokemon crystal
2002-pokemon ruby/saphirre
2004-pokemon emerald
2006-pokemon diamond/pearl
2008-pokemon ?????
So what would you think it is if you look at the pattern?
