Pokemon Opal version

Nice chipset Auriok_Steelshaper! I'm awaiting some screens from
your game and a demo if possible.
Anyway, phoenix is right you should not advertise your game in
someone else's thread, les_2212, Daniel.

I am now making another game, this one isn't pokemon...It's more of a simulation game than an RPG...
I have it all planned out in my mind, now i just have to see if it works in RPGMaker, perhaps if it doesn't i could use sphere or game maker or something like that...

ok, i'm not making the other game anymore now i am just going to focus on Opal...or rather, opal version 2!
Opal version 2 is the same game, but different...i wasn't happy with opal so now i have started opal version 2. (now just Pokemon Opal)
Pokemon Opal is almost the same, i mean the maps are different and all, but the story (soon to come, i've thought of it...i just haven't put it into words) and characters are still the same.

EDIT - Also in Pokemon Opal, the first town, beige town, looks almost exactly the same as Pallet Town

It really does look like Pallet Town. I'm hoping that you'll put more
effort into this.
 
I thought of just making the game like kanto in the future, but that would limit my maps and stuff so it is going to be a whole new region called the Toren Region. Beige Town is the only one that's gonna look like a kanto town and of course i am going to put a lot of effort into this one and it's going to be better than the other one! :)
 
The font stuffed up!
Where can I get the proper Fr/Lg font?

EDIT - Does anyone even have the Fr/Lg font?, not the R/S one, the Fr/Lg one.

I'm Progressing Really well with my battle system, the demo should be done soon...there's just one thing, when i go to show picture for the monster and you, it will show the picture but when you press the button to continue it dissapears!
That shouldn't happen...should it?
 
The only thing I can say is check your events. Make sure you don't have any key inputs followed by any erase pictures or show pictures that would overwrite the previous picture. Example: I set the hero picture to layer 1, then I show the monster pic on layer 1 too. You need to set the monster to layer 2, or the hero will dissappear, overwritten by the monster. Can that be the problem?
