@98Monkey1 -

Looking around Dratini saw an orange head poking around the palm tree looking at Dratini and her trainer. The pokemon had what looked like a floatation ring around its neck and blue fins on its arms. Jand turned around and noticed the creature, which now jumped out from behind the tree it had been hiding behind...

In front of Tyson stood a massive figure, it looked like an enormous snake made entirely of boulders. The pokemon was over 20 feet long, and blocked the entire pathway. The giant chain of boulders let out a deafening roar, which Tyson assumed was a challenge...

The pokeball flew at the crab pokemon, hitting him dead on and sucking him inside. The ball dropped to the floor and began to shake left to right a few times. All of a sudden the ball stopped shaking and let out a ding to signify that the capture had been successful; Lucas then proceeded to pick up Corphish's Pokeball.

He held it up and announced "Yes, I captured a Corphish!" Riolu then jumped up onto his shoulder. Attempting to get himself some attention. But Lucas was too focused on the Pokeball that lay in front of him; after all it was his first capture since he had obtained Riolu and most importantly since he had entered the Orava Islands.

Lucas suddenly jumped, a Pokemon had ran out in front of them it was a.......

OOC: Sorry it's a tad short.

The pokemon in front of Lucas' top half was a hard shell that was orange in color. It had a pair of large pincers that looked like they as powerful weapons. As Lucas took a step towards Corphish's pokeball, the wild pokemons mouth foamed up, and it lifted its pincers in a challenging kind of way....

Jand turned around and noticed the creature, which now jumped out from behind the tree it had been hiding behind..."Dratini, watch out!" Exclaimed Jand as the Buizel jumped towards Dratini. Dratini dodged the attack, and Buizel fell to the ground were Dratini was. "Dratini, thunder wave!" Yelled Jand. Dratini spun around to the Buizel and released an immense electric cloud to it. Buizel was hit by thunder wave, and fell to the ground. In less then 2 seconds, it got back up and released an ear-wrenching sound from it's mouth. Jand quickly covered her ears in pain and Dratini fell to the ground. Dratini slowly got up, and lunged towards the Buizel. Dratini hit Buizel, and Buizel fell to the ground with Dratini on top of it. "Dratini, use wrap!" Shouted Jand as Dratini wrapped itself around Buizel. "Thunder wave!" Exclaimed Jand. Jand could see the sparks on Dratini's body as Buizel was electrocuted. Dratini unwrapped itself from Buizel and Buizel fell paralyzed to the ground. Jand threw a pokeball at the wounded Buizel. "Good job, Dratini" Said Jand quietly as the pokeball rocked back and forth...

"Figures," Tyson muttered. "Alright, one of you go one ahead and watch over Charmeleon while the rest of us handle this beast."

"Gliga!" Gligar called happily, raising a claw. Before Tyson could say anything, the flying scorpion had already flown off.

"Alright then... Aron, Mudslap! Snorunt, Icy Wind!" he barked out suddenly, surprising the pokemon that he could so quickly get into a battle.

"Ron!" Aron roared, getting into the mood just as easily. Running toward the giant rock snake, and dodging the Rock Throw from the angry beast, Aron began to kick up dirt.

"Oxiii!" Onix roared in pain as the mud beat against his side.

"Sno! Sno!" Snorunt called happily, running up the length of Onix and blowing a cold Icy Wind right in Onix's face.

"Onii!" Onix roared, thrashing around in anger and pain. Snorunt went flying, but managed to gain her groundings and land alright. With a horrible roar, Onix charged, head lowered in anger for a massive Tackle.

"Fight back!" Tyson roared. "Icy Wind! Mudslap!"

"Snooo!" Snorunt crooned, firing a harsh icy attack against Onix's side, freezing some of its side.

"Ron!" Aron barked, kicking up mud frantically. "Ron! Ron!" She continued, beginning to frantic as Onix charged through the mud. His large, horned head shot through the wall of mud and rammed right into her small one, sending her flying. "Arrrrooon!" Aron cried, shooting through the air.

"Aron!" Tyson shouted, watching with wide eyes as his pokemon slammed against the wall painfully.

"Onii," Onix grumbled in pain, curling around himself. It really wasn't all that fair that it was one against two. "Xiixxx!" it roared, picking up sharp rocks with its tail and chucking them at Snorunt and Aron.

Watching the rocks come, Tyson had a sudden idea. "Snorunt, freeze all the rocks with Icy Wind! Aron, when they're frozen, chuck them at Onix!"

Eyes glistening with understanding, Aron ducked and dodged under the rocks, knowing what could happen if an Onix was pelted with such large ice rocks. "Snoo!" Snorunt called, jumping and spinning in the air so that its Icy Wind attack flowed all around, hitting the incoming rocks and freezing them and having them fall to the ground with a large "THUNK"!

"Onii!" Onix roared, using his massive tail to break the rocks in half as he knew what their plan was. Tail slashing, the rocks began to crumble, but sharp chunks of ice began to dig into the cracks of Onix's rock tail.

"Roon!" Aron cried, seeing her chance to attack as the Onix roared in pain, the ice hurting it as it dug into his tail. Chomping down on the large ice rock, and ignoring her own wince from the weakness, Aron began to chuck them toward the Onix.

"Snoo!" Snorunt cried, sending a Powder Snow to help move the giant ice rock along.

Slamming his tail down on the ground to remove the ice shards, Onix only had a second to look up as the rock slammed right into his face, creating a massive shock wave of pain. "Onnniiiix!"

"Finish it!" Tyson called.

"Ar on!" Aron cried, digging up dirt.

"So runt!" Snorunt cried, mouth wide open to release the Icy Wind.

The ice and mud intermixed, creating an array of mud/ice bullets that pounded against the Onix. Roaring in pain, the massive rock snake thrashed through the air before landing on the ground, creating a small earthquake in the process.

"Ar," Aron grunted, grimacing as the shock waves tore at her body. Snorunt and Tyson didn't look so well off either. It took them a moment to get their groundings back before they, very carefully, climbed over Onix's massive body and toward the tunnel Charmeleon ran off at.

"Glad that's over," Tyson said to his pokemon, looking a little shaky. The shock wave had been intense.

@98monkey1 - In future can you make you battle posts a little longer please.

After a short wait, the pokeball stopped shaking to signal the capture had been successful.

Congratulations Jand caught a Level 3 Buizel

@Wolfwhispers - Nice battle.

Congratulations Aron grew to Level 12
Congratulations Snorunt grew to Level 17

Charmeleon ran down the tunnel, uncaring of his trainer's calls. The light from his tail led the way, so he was free to exercise his speed in the strange cave. In the background, he could hear a roar and, for just a second, thought of turning back before he heard Aron give her battle cry. And so he continued to move on. The female steel type always irritated him in the way a strong person respects an equally stronger person.

Finally, coming to a stop, Charmeleon kicked at a rock and watched it bounce away, all the while wishing for a fight. And it seemed he got his wish, but not in the form he had wanted. A trainer, a boy about his own trainer's age, noticed him because of his light and noise he had created. The boy had dark brown hair and that excitement all young male trainers carried. His face lit up in surprise as he finally took notice of him.

"Sweet! A shiny Charmeleon! Go, Combusken!" Well, the boy certainly didn't wait for a battle, much like his own.

"Combusken!" cried the newly arrived fighting fighting type called. It gave a few kicks in th air before leveling its sharp claws toward Charmeleon. it smirked and gestured for him to come.
[PokeCommunity.com] Pokemon - Orava Islands

Charmeleon smirked back as well as he felt his blood pump with excitement. This was what he was talking about! A real fight! "Take this!" he roared, charging forward, claws extended.

Combusken hopped from foot to foot, feeling the anticipation as well. Giving a loud caw, the fighting **** charged as well claws extended. The two met with a clang, almost like two knives meeting. "Not good enough," Combusken taunted.

"This is nothing," Charmeleon growled, sneering as he pressed his face close to Combusken's. "But this is!" Mouth wide, draconic fire surged out of his mouth, blasting his opponent away and straight through a few rocks. With a billowing roar, Charmeleon stood with a proud look.

"Cocky, aren't you?" the trainer asked Charmeleon with an eager grin even though he couldn't understand what the pokemon were saying. "But Combusken isn't down yet! Double Kick!"

"Right!" Combusken roared, bursting out of the rubble. Despite looking a bit ruffled, the Hoenn fire type flung its taloned foot at Charmeleon hitting him...once! ...Twice!

One kick to the arm and one kick to the gut, sending him flying through some rocks this time. "Uhg," Charmeleon groaned before quickly rolling out of the way. No more than a second later, Combusken's claws were deep in the ground exactly where his head had been. "Suck this!" Charmeleon spat, mouth wide to fire an Ember.

Combusken grit his teeth as he raised an arm to shield his face. "Not bad," he admitted, clawed fingers twitched in preparation. Charmeleon noticed the movement and quickly jumped away, just before Combusken hit open air. Muzzle open, another Dragon Rage shot out towards the kicking fire type.

"Dodge!" the trainer bellowed, his voice echoing in the cave. "And follow up with Quick Attack."

"Got it!" Combusken crowed with happiness as he flipped over the attack. Charmeleon, for the briefest moment, felt a twinge of resentment. He remember roaring with happiness as he followed his trainer's orders, but that disappeared when his trainer's order's led to his failure... and the quick jab to the gut from COmbusken's Quick Attack. "Too slow," Combusken smirked.

Charmeleon scoffed as he jumped up. "Fast," he admitted with a sly grin, "but not powerful enough." The look Combusken gave him could melt a mountain if glares could shoot laser beams. "Now your turn! Dragon Rage!" Charmeleon shouted, muzzle wide as the draconic fire shot out toward the other fire type.

"Dodge with Quick Attack!" the trainer bellowed.

Nodding, Combusken became a blur just as the purplish fire shot right by him, reappearing by Charmeleon's side. "Scratch!" the kicking fire type snarled, bringing up his long claws.

"Not enough," Charmeleon growled, quickly bringing up his own claws and pressing back against the fighting type. The both grunted as their claws gave an echoing clang before they both pushed against the other. Sneering, Charmeoelon opened his mouth. At the movement, Combusken jumped back, not wanting to get hit again at such a close attack. Instead of a Dragon Rage or Ember, black smoke made its way out of Charmeleon's mouth, blinding them all.

"Be careful, Combusken," the trainer said softly, as if only his pokemon could hear. Once more the twinge of sadness tore at him. his own trainer said stupid stuff like that too.

"I will," Combusken said back, even if it sounded like, "Bus com!" to the trainer.

His fingers twitched once more as the other fire type assured his trainer. Tentatively, Charmeleon licked his lips before getting over his nervousness and bounding forward on all fours. Unfortuanently for him, he had a light on his tale that gave a soft glow, even through the Smokescreen, but could only be seen at a distance.

"Ember!" came the trainer's voice.

Glad he was on all fours, the fire balls flew over his head as he crawled closer and closer, only to muffle a yelp as his arm fell through a hole. Looking down the dark hole that had a tunnel underground, Charmeleon grinned, realizing that it was one of the many tunnles the pokemon in this cave had made to make short cuts all around the mountain. Without a second thought, he went down the hole.

"Where is it," the boy muttered, looking all around as the smoke finally cleared. He had come a long way in this league, already getting three badges. His partner, Combusken, whom he's had since he was a Torchic, was his strongest, and he knew he could count on it to handle this rare find.

Combusken looked around as well, claws extended as his talons raked against the ground in a nervous action he had not quite gotten over since he had evolved. Not daring to take a step, Combusken stayed in the same place. This, however, proved to be the wrong choice, because Charmeleon took that moment to attack.

"Gotcha!" Charmeleon roared, bursting out from the ground in a flurry of flailing claws and flame that cause the kicking fire type to screech out in shock. Laughing, Charmeleon struck the Combusken as soon as he burst out of the ground with enflamed claws that he had used to help dig his way to the surface.

"Combusken!" the boy yelled as his pokemon gave a loud cry of pain. "Quick, try and fight back with a Double Kick!"

"Not good enough!" Charmeleon chuckled, feeling exctremely pleased with his surprise attack. Muzzle wide open, the draconic fire was released from his mouth and hit the charging pokemon right in the chest.

With a loud screech of pain, Combusken opened bleary eyes that held unshed tears. Beak opening quickly, Combusken fired a quick Fire Spin attack, a move it had waited to learn before it had evolved. For a fighting type, Double Kick was an easy move to practice and learn on his own, but not Fire Spin that could not be learned without a teacher.

Charmeleon gave an angry screech as the firey vortex surrounded him, entrapping him more than actually doing harm as he was a fire type. He was pleased to see, however, that his last attack still did enough damage that his foe was down and out at last. Roaring, Charmeleon broke through the Fire Spin, recieving a small burn that stung on his arm, but still up. Looking up at the trainer, he smirked.

The boy grinned, his look a little feisty. "You are strong," he said, voice possessive. He reached for his next pokeball, but he was interrupted as loud footsteps echoed throughout the cave. Nervously, Charmeleon and the boy looked around. "Swarm," the boy said nervously, giving Charmeleon a longing glance before quickly running off. He released a Sandslash that helped lead him to safety, leaving Charmeleon alone to meet this supposed swarm.

"Charmeleon!" called a happy voice.

Charmeleon looked up and scowled. "Not you," he said bitterly.

"Don't be so jealous of a single win," Gligar said, a happy smile marred on his face. "Honestly, I don't know why you're so pissed. Tyson has used you plenty of times, and each time you've won. Everyone loses sometime, and does it really matter? You are his favorite."

Charmeleon couldn't deny that. There was just a bond trainer and first pokemon had with each other. Even if Tyson treated all of his pokemon equally, the two of them were best friends. They had known each other since he was an egg.

"We don't have time to talk about this," Charmeleon said, ignroing what the flying scorpion had said. "It looks like we have company."

And it was true. This supposed swarm was making their way towards them, and all they could do was get ready.

"Don't worry, the other's are on their way any second," Gligar said with conviction, causing the fire type to glance over for a second.

Yea... they would be.

@Wolfwhispers - Nice post. I really like the idea of showing events through Charmeleons eyes. Very inventive. :)

Congratulations Charmeleon grew to level 26

Charmeleon stood there, poised at the ready. His claws were tingling with excitement at the possibilty of battle. The ground below Charmeleons feet began to shake, 'this swarm must be huge' he thought with a grin. The shaking suddenly stopped, and Charmeleon looked around to try and see the oncoming swarm. All he saw however, was four small brown heads with pink noses pop up from the ground....

The river crab Pokemon. It's the pre-evolved form of Kingler. It lives in burrows dug on sandy beaches. Its pincers fully grow back if they are broken in battle.

Lucas picked up Corphish's Pokeball and threw it up into the air. "I choose you Corphish!" With a flash of red Corphish emerged from his Pokebll.

"Corp hish corp." Screamed Lucas' newest Pokemon as he hit the floor.

"Corphish use Bubble!" Corphish's mouth opened wide and a series of bubbles floated out. They were heading towards Krabby.

"Krab by," Shouted the Krabby as he too opened his mouth and fired out a series of bubbles. All the bubbles met in the middle and popped in between the two crab like Pokemon.

"Kra kra by." Krabby's claw turned a shining walk colour and he scuttled over towards Corphish. His claw then moved towards Corphish's horn. He was using Vicegrip.

"Quick Corphish before he hits you; use Harden!" Corphish's whole body then turned a silverish colour. Krabby's claw then smashed into Corphish. But because of Corphish's hardened state Krabby came off worse. He scuttled backwards clutching his hurt fist in pain.

"Corp hish," Corphish smiled towards Lucas. Knowing that he had done well.

"Great work Corphish. Now try using Bubble while he's still hurt!" Corphish opened his mouth and released vicious bubble. The bubbles floated towards Krabby and popped right in his face.

"Kra ab by," Krabby winced in pain as the bubbles smashed in his face.

"Okay use Bubble again!" Once again Corphish released some bubbles. The bubbles flew over towards Krabby and smashed into his face.

"Kra by," Krabby cried out as he smashed against the floor and fainted.

Lucas walked off with Riolu on his shoulder and and Corphish by his side when suddenly a unknown to them Pokemon jumped out....

There was a slight movement to Lucas' side, and he turned to see a pink creature walking down onto the beach. The pokemon was moving very slowly and seemed unaffected by its surroundings. In fact, Lucas wasn't sure if the creature was aware that Lucas and his pokemon's were there at all...

Charmeleon peered down at the four pokemon. "What is this?" he demanded with a frown. "Don't tell me I have to battle-" He was cut off as one of the larger Diglett disappeared faster than the eye could see and ram him from underground. "-you," he finished with grunt before standing quickly. "Why you little!" Charmeleon roared as he pounded the ground angril with his tail.

The four Diglett just chuckled with childish delight and bulleted towards Charmeleon at an incredibly fast speed. "Dig! Dig!"

"Got ya!" Gligar called, grabbing Charmeleon and lifting the fire lizard into the air. "How about a little aieral combat?" Gligar called tauntingly at the four Diglett before firing a Poison Sting from his tail.

"Ooh, nice," Charmeleon said as he scrambled to stand on Gligar's back and shot down a barrage of Ember's.

"Ow! Ow! Hurts!" they cried out in pain as the Poison Sting and Ember pounded against their heads.

"Are they a little... well," Charmeleon scrambed for the right word.

"They have a very small brain and are limited on speech," Gligar explained as he glided over the angry Diglett as they shot many Sand Attacks towards them. One even used a Magnitude attack, but all that seemed to do was hurt the others.

"You do bad!" one of the bigger ones told the smaller one that used the massive attack to shake them up. "Now we all hurt!"

"Me help better!" the small one said pitifully.

"No, me help!" the second smallest one cried as it shot up the length of the wall. Charmeleon and Gligar were simply watching them, too amused to take them as any sort of threat. It wasn't until the small one jumped from the wall and right at them did anything frightening happen. "Yaaaah!" the tiny Diglett roared as it shot toward them like a bullet, its tiny little tentacle like claws flailing about in the air underneath its body as it flew.

"Holy crap! Those things actually have legs!" Gligar and Charmeleon yelled at the same time.

"Fly away!" Charmeleon yelled, tugging at Gligar's ears in an attempt to steer the pokemon.

"It doesn't work like that!" yelped as he flew hazardesly around the air. Because of the random turning, the tiny Diglett simply zoomed right by and landed hard on the ground, looking a bit worse for wear, not that Charmeleon and Gligar were doing so well in the air.

"Me hur..." The tiny Diglett was cut off on the account of becoming an ice cube.

From behind stood Snorunt. "I'm so sorry!" Snorunt wailed as she patted the icicle Diglett.

The three other Diglett's began to scream at a very loud pitch and run around everywhere with no sense of direction. In fact, all they did was make trenches all around without finding an escape route.

"Shut it!" a new voice snarled, finally followed by a spray of Mud Slap all around. The Diglett shook in fear and pain as the attack froze them in place. "Take this one and go!" Aron barked as she made her way forward.

"Yes! Yes!" they cried as they quickly took their frozen companion and took off.

"And you two!" Aron continued to bark at the still out of control Gligar and Charmeleon in the air. "Stop being idiots and get down here!"

"How do you steer!?" Charmeleon continued to scream as he tried to turn Gligar's body this way and that.

"Stop it!" Gligar cried. "I can steer on my---woahhh!" This time both Charmeleon and Gligar yelled at the same time as they finally ran into a wall, thus falling in a clump on the ground.

"Serves you right," Snorunt said angrily as she shook her ball hand in Charmeleon's face. "Tyson is so worried!"

Charmeleon gave a low grumble as he made to push himself up, only to blink as a pair of human arms picked him up. Tyson held the shiny Charmeleon in his arms, hugging him tightly. "Charmeleon..." he said softly.

Hesitently, Charmeleon returned the hug, feeling like a jerk. "Che."

"Charmeleon... you idiot!" Tyson roared, breaking Charmeleon out of the hug and shaking the dazed fire lizard in the air. "Do you have any idea how worried we were? How worried I was!?"

Charmeleon grumbled a bit, hating the guilt wriggling in his body.

"Well?" Tyson demanded. "What do you have to say for yourself.

"We're waiting," Aron said with a smirk, even if it did come out as "Ar rro."

Charmeleon shot her a glare, but was met with an icy look from Snorunt who was defending her friend. "Che," Charmeleon said, looking away. Damn girls, they were all out to get him. At least Gligar was ok...

Tyson let out a sigh as he carefully put Charmeleon down. "Come on," he said. "I see the exit there." He waved needlessly at the opening just a few ways away, and suddenly Charmeleon felt a whole lot better. He had missed it when his trainer said needless things to his pokemon.

"Me," Charmeleon said happily as he led the way and out of the cave.

OOC: Sorry this is so lame. Just wanted to get out of the tunnel...

@Wolfwhispers - okay no worries buddy.

Congratulations Charmeleon grew to Level 27
Congratulations Gligar grew to Level 12 and learned Knock Off

(sorry for the slight bunnying here, I assumed you wanted to skip the rest point)

Tyson and his pokemon left the cave and were immediately blinded by the bright sunlight. Covering his eyes from the glare, Tyson immediately saw the Rest Point he had been told about back in Highland. He quickly made his way inside and got his pokemon healed. He then asked Nurse Joy where he should head next.

"Oh, the only way forward from here is to head along Route 6," said nurse Joy, "Its the large path that runs East from here, you can't miss it. If you follow the path, it will take you straight to the next town."

Tyson had followed those instructions and had started walking towards the east. In no time at all, he had discovered an extremely large path. The path itself was wide enough to hold at least two Snorlax's, and was incredibly bare. It was almost as if someone decided to take a giant eraser and wipe out a single patch in this area, because off to the sides were rather thick and rather tall bushes.

"Look's like the only way to battle a wild pokemon is to force them out," Tyson said outloud with a grin. "Go, Snorunt!"

With a burst of white light, the cone pokemon appeared. "Snoo!" Snorunt said happily, bouncing up and down in excitement as she took notice of her new surroundings.

"Snorunt, use Powder Snow in the bushes to force out some pokemon," Tyson told her.

"Run," Snorunt said with a nod. Mouth opening, Snorunt released a soft powder that shouldn't really hurt a pokemon, or the bushes, but rather agitate them enough into coming out.

Almost immediately, the bushes began to shake, almost as if it were cold, but Tyson knew it was a pokemon, or maybe even a person, that was agitating those bushes. And, out from the bushes, came a...

"Perfect!" Tyson exclaimed. "Use Double Team to get it off of you," Tyson commanded.

"Snoo!" Snorunt cried, quickly creating many doubles and running around at a fast pace. Unfortuanently for Snorunt, the Abra was given a double as well and held onto Snorunt even as she ran around.

"That's not working, Snorunt," Tyson called to his pokemon, not wanting her to waste energy by running around.

"Snoo," Snorunt said, trying to turn her head to see the pokemon perched atop her back. However, what with Snorunt's body structure, it was impossible. "Sno! Sno!" Snorunt wailed, finally just throwing herself to the ground and rolling around in a desperate attempt to get the pokemon off.

"Abr...aa," Abra said with a sigh as it easily fell off her back and getting squished a bit in the process. However, the damage couldn't have been that great, but it was knocked out.

"Snoo?" Snorunt questioned, tapping the pokemon before jumping back in shock as its body glowed briefly before disappearing.

"Woah!" Tyson yelped in shock. He had been making his way over to check on the pokemon, but it had disappeared as soon as he made it within a foot. Looking around, he heard a dull noise.

"Brra." It was more like a sigh, but it was still a sound, and Tyson and Snorunt were able to pinpoint the attack. "Icy Wind!" he bellowed, pointing at the tree branch.

"Snoo!" Snorunt called, letting loose the icy attack. The sparkling air current struck true. The Abra that had been on the tree simply sat there and took the attack. The ice covered its whole body, turning it into more or less a pokemon icicle. With the icy overcoat, the frozen pokemon fell off the tree and landed with a loud bang.

Tyson winced, suddenly feeling a little sorry for the pokemon. It hadn't really put up much of a fight, but really, in the midst of a trainer's presence, why wouldn't it fight? There was always that possibility for wild pokemon to fight... but why? Suddenly, a loud roar erupted his thoughts. Had the loud crash irritate some unknown pokemon?

"Br bra," Aba chuckled, suddenly reappearing in front of a shocked Tyson and Snorunt. There were still bits of ice covering it, but from the crash it had been freed. It was standing this time, and as another roar came, it gave a sadistic little chuckle before disappearing from sight with the use of its Teleport.

"Get ready," Tyson told his pokemon. "I think we just interrupted a sleeping pokemon or, perhaps, the pokemon that helps guard the others around here."

"Sno..." Snorunt said, nodding a little hesitently as another loud roar echoed around them.

The bushes began to shake furiously, almost as if a giant were creating a mini earthquake. And, what came out of the bushes, was a...

He breathed heavily adn steadied himself, then all of a sudden the creature burst through the bushes and revealed the eyes to in fact be a pair of horns. The dopey Pokemon. When a Shellder clamps onto it's tail it immediately evolves into Slowbro. Although slow, it is skilled at fishing with its tail. It does not feel pain if its tail is bitten.

Lucas just looked at the Slowpoke; Slowpoke still didn't look at Lucas. Lucas just ignored the Slowpoke and walked past until he was near what looked like a huge Power Plant. He saw a revolving door so he revolved it and walked into the plant. Then suddenly something jumped out on him...

@Bemertonboy - Not a fan of Slowpoke then... fair enough. This one should interest you... hopefully

A small, yuellow pokemon with a round body jumped out in front of Lucas, blocking his path. The pokemon had two horns on the top of its head, and its arms were huge in comparison to the rest of its body. The pokemon looked up at Lucas and gave an evil grin, before beginning to spin its arms rapidly...

Character Name: Kyle Gallagher.
Gender: Male.
Age: 15.
Appearance: Kyle wears nothing interesting at all. He looks like one of those kids who are commanly saw on the street, in a a gang. To match his personality, he wears a black hoody, which the hood is over his head most of the time. A black hat, despite a hoody, blue jeans which are big, because of his height, and wears two earrings and a ring on his finger, even though he's not engaged. His clothes match the way he is, a dark person who likes the night and being in danger. People see him as scary by what he wears.
Personality: A long time ago, Kyle was a nasty person, who was doing bad things in his town, misbehaving in school a lot which shows he is not good. However, he had changed in time and had became a better person once he left his gang, so that made him become nicer, fixing the mistakes he made. However, because he is now nice doesn't mean he has totally changed. He can be very obnoxious and rude to people that take him badly, so altogether he can be reasonable. In Pokemon battles, he could be comptetive though because his attitude can make him quite challenging.
History: When he was 13, Kyle was in a gamg of thugs who always drove around town doing bad things, like graffiti and getting in trouble. His behavious was bad, so he got excluded at the same age showing that he had to learn a lesson, but he still stayed in the gang and his behavious stayed the same, bad. While he was in the gang, he did start to lose it a bit and got bored, so when he was 14, the leader of the gang kicked him out for not doing anything, so he then had nothing to do. Ever since, he has learned from his mistakes, apologized to the people he had done wrong to, apologized to the school and became a nicer person, but not completely nice.
Preferred Starter: Houndour.
How Obtained: A time when Kyle was in the gang, at night, they all drove around the town on their motorbikes, just exploring around. When they all reached the forest, Kyle had found something strange, a black and red egg that had been found under a dead tree with leaves fallen under it. Kyle had no idea what it is, and was curious to klnow what it is, and knowing back then that he was a thug, eh took the egg without a care, without him knowing that it was actually an egg of a Pokemon. Once they all arrived back, weeks passed until the egg started to move. Kyle was shocked to see what was going on, and jumped when he first heard it. His dad then came to tell him that it was an egg, and he couldn't believe his eyes. Under all the evil spirit, he was quite soft and loves the cute stuff, and thought it would be a Pokemon that was just like him that would hatch. Not so long after, the egg started to hatch into a Houndour, which Kyle had grew strongly fond of, and he always gave it love and cared. Because of this, the gang had lost intrest in him and kicked Kyle out, but he did grow into a nice person who was one day going to train Houndour up good.
