Im knida new here, but o well...
Ive always wanted to make an online Pokemon game after first playing Pokemon Crater.
So here it is, Pokemon Origins!
Its not a hack or screw over. Its basically a tweaked MMO.
The problem with so many MMOs is that it lacks some type of story element.
Here's the story for Pokemon Origins:
10 years ago, you took your friend,a girl who lived near you, to the nearby forest where you lived. The two of you were tossing stones to each other, laughing and having a good time.Unfortunately, a enraged Salamence was flying over lowly, just as your friends stone hit it. Going ballistic, it unleashed a Hyper beam at your friend. Sensing danger, you sent out your father's Pokemon, an Espeon, to try and fight the Salamence off. The Espeon was able to fight off the Salamence, but left your friend emotionally scared, eventually leaving the region.
10 years later, you move from Viridian Town to Pallet Town with your mother, her telling you this is where your father lived. You just want to walk around and see the place where Red lived. Proffesor Oak, the renowned Professor sees you, and after a short conversation, say you remind you of Red, and calls you in to see your first pokemon, Charmander, Squirtle or Bulbasaur. Excitedly, you run home to your mom, who says that you should give it your best, and hopefully out-eclipse your father.
Going back to the Lab, following your mother's advice,Professor Oak says to you that a girl came by that day, and she also took a Pokemon, an Eevee. He asks you to meet her in the Viridian Pokemon Center, your birth place.
Fending off against various wild Pokemon, you reach Viridian City, heading to Viridian to see the girl. A girl, comes out of the PC, and after you tell her that Professor Oak sent you, will challenge you to a battle.
After you beat her, she says that you got lucky, and goes back to Pallet. But before she goes, she gives you 5 Pokeballs, saying that you'll need them.
You'll continue on your journey through Kanto, fending off against various trainers, training against the Gym Leaders. You'll meet your rival often, who will test your mettle before giving you a necessary item.She doesnt respect you at first, but by the time you get your 8th Badge and challenge her in Viridian, she'll acknowledge your strength and tell you about the Pokemon League
On the way, you meet a new Organization called Team Genesis, who seems to be collecting a lot of power for a certain project. You catch up with their Admin, Giovanni, at the tiptop of the Cinnabar Volcano, who after you and your legend, Red, take his team of villains down, will laugh at your efforts, saying it is all in vain, that Team Genesis is too strong already.
You travel to Indigo Plateau, hoping to challenge and defeat the mighty Elite 4, due to encouragement from Red. You fight against the powerful trainers in the Power Star challenge and indeed after hard training, your Pokemon manage to defeat the Elite 4.
After comin back to settle at home, after your huge victory, you think it is over. However, Leaf, your rival's hero, comes to your home, and tells you if you think that you are a Pokemon master yet, you are wrong, because the world of Johto is waiting...

Yeah, that is Kanto in a nutshell for you. Im hoping to flush out the story more when I have more time.
I want this to be a defenitive project, with as many people from this board as possible. You guys really know what you are doing.
Im always open to ideas, but I might not always take them.
So, Im looking for as many spriters, mappers,programmers, and writers as possible. Im a spriter myself, but Im really busy doing a lot of stuff. Im very committed to this stuff, but Im really lacking in the time department, and I would really like some help.
