Truth betold!

Grecko stared at Misty after telling her he needed to meet Sly, waiting for her reply. "Hmmph why would I.." Misty said before she was interupted by a black shadow encircling her. "What!" Grecko yelled as he ran forward to reach for her hand. But it was to late Misty was consumed by the shadows.

With Misty gone and the shadows completely consuming his body Grecko stared up at the sky and wonders to himself.."why..why did all of this happen...I was supposed to fight for good, not evil...I've let my father down...and now that Misty is gone my only chance is to allow the darkness to completly consume me." Grecko than hears footsepts and turns around immediatley only to see the evilest man he's ever known.

"Wow Grecko your really embracing the darkness, and thats good, i'm about to go get rid of Tai.. he has become a problem for me.. so that means the offer goes to you to be my next right hand man... but i'll let you think on that right now your getting sent to Cinnibar island buh bye.. and think about the offer" Beo says as the darkness grabs you and hurls you into the darkness.

Grecko begins screaming as he realizes he is falling from the sky. "Ah that ******* Beo teleported me into mid air! And right above a volcano!" Grecko yells as he begins to fall towards the lava. "GRRRAAAH!" Grecko screams as he reaches his hand out to grab onto a nearby ledge. "Crap, this isn't good...im slipping...but maybe the darkness can help..." Grecko said before letting go of the ledge and passing out. He slowly falls to the lava pit below.

'MMHHHM..Where...Where am i?" Grecko asks as he looks around a weird looking cave, not understanding how he didn't die in the volcano. "Hey boy wake up" a man says as Grecko open his eyes, and looks out to see a man in a brown cloak and a raggedy beard standing over a pot of food. Grecko wonders how he is still alive but he quickly runs over to the pot of food. "Sorry but this is mine, you can't have any unless you can tell me who I am" the man says.

Grecko just stares at the man for a few seconds, not understanding how he's supposed to know who this total stranger is. Than it hits him, he recognizes the voice and is about to say something when the man interupts..."You know son, I didn't want this for you, I wanted you to fight the darkness instead........ you embraced it, you let it take over your soul, and you've become a monster like Beo, now there is only one thing to do.. You must battle with me.. to the death my son, for when I left you I failed you, and now I must right my wrong" Greckos father says as he reaches for his pokeball.

"What dad I don't understand...the only reason I joined the dark brotherhood was because they said they kidnapped you!" Grecko yells out in horror. "Hmmph...did I teach you nothing about the brotherhood...they can play tricks with your mind, they know just how to take the one thing you care most about and use it against you!" His father than spoke. "But...I..GRRRR! Than where did you go right before I left for my journey! I dont understand you!" Grecko begins to yell at furiously as the shadows continue to twrill themselves around his body.

"I had some buisness to take care of son...I had to leave you because I knew if you knew where I was, you never would have left the house for this journey...so i had to give you a nudge." His father quietly speaks back. "All this time I thought you were in danger...I sacraficed everything to try and save you when you weren't even in trouble! Why couldn't you have atleast shown yourself and let me know you were ok before i did this to myself!" Grecko continues to yell in a rage.

"I was not allowed to interact with your progress...you were to make your own decisions Grecko, and you failed. You proved to Sly, to Zeypher, and to me...that you would fall under pressure...and thats something we can't use to fight the darkness." His father than said. "So then this was all just one big show to you and them huh? Well I love you dad...but im going to take you down in a battle for what you let me become...I dont care how much stronger you are...the darkness will help me!!!!!!!!!" Grecko yells as the shadows begin to surge through the air and a huge pulse of darkness is let off.

"So be it...Come on out Typhlosion and electivire!" Grecko's father yelles tossing out two pokeballs. "So your going with your two most prized pokemon huh? Than let me choose mine! Wartortle! Chimchar! Lets go!" Grecko yelled as he tossed his two pokemon out.

"TYYYYYY!" "ELEEEECLEC" "WARRR" "CHIIIIII" the four pokemon yelled as they came out of their pokeballs. "You'll never beat me again dad! Wartortle Rapid Spin! Chimchar Ember!" Grecko yelled to his two pokemon. "WARRRT" the water pokemon began to yell as it begun to spin in the air. "CHIII" Chimchar yelled as it sent an ember attack at the back of Wartortles shell to send it flying across the battle field ten times faster.

"Not a bad tactic son. Typhlosion, Electivire, Flame Wheel mixed with Shock Wave Swift!" Grecko's father said in response. "TYYYYYYY" "EEELEEEEC" the two pokemon yelled as Typhlosion began to spin into a ball of fire and Electivire sent his shockwave swift attack to circle around the fire.

"WARRRRRRR!!!!" Wartortle yelled as his firey rapid spin was about to make contact with Typhlosion's Electric/Flame wheel attack. "FWWWWWWOOOOOOO" the two pokemon made contact sending Wartortle flying backwards into Chimchar. "TYYYYY" the huge fire pokemon said as it unrolled itself and stood in the middle of the battle field.

"Warrrtorrtle!" Wartortle said slowly as it got up off of Chimchar. "Are you guys ok?" Grecko asked his pokemon. "War!" "CHI!" they both yelled as they stared at the intimidating Typhlosion. "Well son it seems you still care about your pokemon's well-being...seems your not completly shrouded in darkness..." Grecko's father yelled across the cave at him.

"No i'm not..but soon! Wartortle Water gun! Chimchar Taunt!" Grecko yelled to his pokemon. "What's he up to?" Grecko's father said to himself as he was about to order an attack, but than he realized that his pokemon were doing the same thing over again. "TYYYY" the Typhlosion yelled as it began to use flame wheel and absorbed the Electric attack around itself again. "That's what taunt does dad...it allows me to make your pokemon do the same thing over again. Now Wartortle use Water gun!" Grecko hollered.

As Typhlosion began to roll forward Wartortle shot out a huge wave of water at the pokemon. "TYYYYY!" the pokemon yelled as it took the attack and flew backwards, but landing on it's feet. "Hmmpph not bad son...but its going to take a lot more than that to beat me...believe me." his father said as he stared at his son. The two just stared back and forth, neither wanting to lose this battle.
 
WolfWhispers: Good battle, I like how you described the eevee! Weavile grew to lvl 23, Skaromory grew to lvl 21, Skaromory wants to learn fury attack, delete a move to make room?

Tim0789: Good start! Wartortle grew to lvl 22. Chimchar grew to lvl 15, What Chimchar is evolving, let it evolve? Chimchar also wants fury swipes, delete a move to make room?
 
Angela sighed for the tenth time within the last 5 minutes, it's only been about a good 20 minutes since Gage's grandfather left and she was already bored to tears "There's nothing to do" she moaned from her spot on the couch. Bolt was sitting on the armrest, staring blankly at a wall, he looked just as bored as his trainer. "It sucks that we have to wait to be brief for the next mission… I hate waiting" she mumbled before glancing at Gage "Isn't there anything fun to do around here?" Gage opened his mouth to speak but before he could get a word out Angela cut him off with a shout, that startled Bolt, causing him to cry out and fall off the armrest "Hey Gage! What the hell was all that crap earlier" she asked glaring at him and he looked thoroughly confused "You called me scary!" she exclaimed "I am not scary" she hissed before turning quickly to her fallen comrade, who climbed back up the arm rest "Am I Bolt?"

"Pika Pi"

Somewhat startled at the abrupt question after his recovery from the fall, Bolt laughed nervously and rubbed the back of his head in a sheepish manner before quickly shaking his head no "Pikachu" Angela smiled widely and pat Bolt's on the head lightly "See, Bolt doesn't think I'm scary at all!"

"Right… and Beo's not really an evil dark loving maniac, he's just misunderstood" Gage mumbled under his breath but quickly snapped his mouth shut with Angela's smile disappeared and was replaced with a sharp glare. Gage coughed and looked away, a slight hint of pink on his cheeks "So… how much of the conversation did you hear?" he glanced at her curiously, gauging her reaction.

"Umm" Angela hummed and scratched her head thoughtfully "I don't think I heard much" she mumbled crossing her arms "The most I heard was you saying I was pretty and stuff... why" she asked glancing at him briefly before scowling0 "Then you said I was scary! When was I ever scary?" she demanded glaring and Gage took a nervous step back and placed his hands up in a defensive position and began to stammer "S-See! This is exactly what I'm talking about... you blow up and get scary when your angry" He made sure that he was safely behind the couch and a few meters away from her before he continued, women were weird like that and he wouldn't put it past Angela to start swinging at him for saying something wrong "Or she'd sic Bolt on me" he couldn't help but blanch at that thought and glanced briefly at the yellow mouse who watched the scene unfold with amused black eyes.

"Oh..."

Angela blushed out of embarrassment "I'm sorry Gage" she apologized "I get like that some times.... and I guess I do kinda blow up when I get angry" Gage couldn't help but snort "Kinda? Isn't that the biggest understatement of the year" her cheeks got redder and she scowled, pouting "Okay, so I do blow up when I get angry. Are you happy now?" she asked rolling her eyes and crossing her arms over her chest in an annoyed fashion "Very" Gage responded with a satisfied grin.

"Idiot" she mumbled glancing at him with a small smile of her own.

Brrrinng. Brrrinng.

Gage jumped slightly before he searched around frantically for the ringing phone "Its right over here genius" Angela murmured pointing at the table on the other side of the couch, where the phone sat Gage nodded, a bit flustered and answered the phone, putting it on speaker while Angela chuckled away with Bolt in the background "Gage, good job on securing the gym, but you need to hurry up and quickly make your way towards Saffron City, you'll have to battle Sabrina, one of the toughest gym leaders in Kanto because of her ability to--" Both teens glance at the phone curiously and wonder why the call dropped.

"Super creepy" Angela mumbled thoughtfully "Its like when Beo kidnapped me back in the forest... our connection suddenly got cut then BAM! I was out like a light" Gage nodded "Yeah... that happened to me too" Angela shrugged "But we're safe in your grandpa's house, so I guess it was just a bad connection..." there was an awkward pause afterward "Our next stop is Saffron then" Gage murmured glancing at Angela, who nodded and stood, while Bolt hopped on her shoulder "Alright then... lets go!" she pumped a fist in the air exuberantly and began pushing Gage towards the door "Lead the way Gage!" a small laugh escaped his lips as she pushed him out the door, Angela's excitement and energy never ceased to amaze him.

Vol. 2, Chapter 4, Pt. II of II

Max threw two of his Pokeballs in to the air. It would be a double battle. In two blinding white flashes appeared Totodile and Trapinch. Giovanni threw his two Pokeballs in to the air and Max recognized them to be a Fearow and a Rhyhorn.

"Let's go! Trapnich use Dig, and Totodile use Water Gun! Both on Rhyhorn!" Max shouted. The battle had begun.

"Rhyhorn use Horn attack, Fearow use Ariel Ace. Do it on whoever." Giovanni calmly said.

The battle began with a few quick moves. Trapnich stood where he was, staring calmly in to the eyes of Fearow. Fearow was sternly staring at Trapnich, its eyes sharp as its beak. Quickly, Fearow flew in to the air, and dove for Trapinch.

Trapnich stood where he was, staring at the spot Fearow used to be. Fearow locked its wings against its side and as it dove a white slipstream formed around him. He was gaining on Trapinch, and it would just hit harder.

"Toto!" Totodile shouted. Right after Totodile shouted Trapinch hopped up and hit the ground with his face. He began digging and eventually he was under the ground with Fearow almost hitting the ground.

Fearow's eyes widened with confusion. It dug a very deep hole, and quick! Fearow closed its eyes and slammed in to the ground. Trapinch then began digging the ground to make a path for him towards Rhyhorn.

Totodile drew in a deep breath of air and puffed out his chest. Rhyhorn's horn was growing sharper and it dashed after Totodile. Totodile was still chargin up his beam of water, and Rhyhorn was gaining.

Suddenly, Trapinch leapt up from under the ground and slammed Rhyhorn in to the air. Rhyhorn flew back away from Totodile and Totodile was ready now. He shot out his beam of packed together water spiraling for Rhyhorn.

Rhyhorn stood up and opened his eyes, to be slammed with water. Rhyhorn yelped in pain and flew back from the super effective attack. Max smirked. Giovanni so far was losing. That definetly proved that the Dark Brotherhood was stronger then the stupid Clan of Hope, but Max felt something weird. He didn't know what it was though...

"Rhyhorn use Fury attack, and Fearow use Fury attack. Both on Totodile, dodge whatever the weak Trapinch tries to dish out." Giovanni calmly, but sternly ordered.

"Totodile use Water Gun from far away and if they get close use Bite! Trapinch distract them with constant Bites!" Max yelled.

Both of Giovanni's Pokemon nodded their heads. Rhyhorn stepped forword and then glared at Totodile while his horn was getting sharper. Totodile took in a deep breath of air, puffing out his chest.

Trapinch, enraged by how Giovanni called him weak, dashed for the Fearow and Rhyhorn. He slid to a halt as the Rhyhorn dashed past him towards Totodile. Totodile's eyes widened as the Pokemon was coming closer.

Trapinch leapt and then clamped his jaw down on the Rhyhorn's body. The Rhyhorn squeeled in pain and Trapinch sent it flying back. Totodile then realeased a huge spray of water at the flying Rhyhorn. But right before the water hit Rhyhorn Fearow flew in front of it and took the hit for Rhyhorn.

"Ok! Now use Bite, both of you!" Max shouted.

"Use Pursuit and Stomp." Giovanni calmly said.

Totodile and Trapinch quickly sped off towards the Pokemon, both of them aiming for Rhyhorn. It was obvious that the Rhyhorn was a lower level then the Fearow, and they were taking advantage of it.

Fearow disappeared and then reappeard behind Trapinch. It slammed in Trapinch, sneding it rolling across the ground towards Rhyhorn. Trapinch stopped rolling and Rhy lifted his foot to step on Trapinch.

Totodile suddenly sank his teeth in to the Rhyhorn's leg, causing him to yelp in pain and then stumbled back. Fearow was flying straight for Totodile, but when ti was close enough Trapinch sank his teeth in to Fearow.

Max was getting a little worried. This was the pervious 8th gym leader before now! How could he beat this guy? Suddenly, Totodile glew a dim blue, and then normal colors. It was his ability, torrent. All of his water attacks were at a higher power now.

"Use Water gun, Totodile! Dig Trapinch! Totodile on Rhyhorn and Trapinch on Fearow if it tries to interfear!" Max shouted.

"Use Fury Attack,both of you...and on Totodile!" Giovanni shouted furiously.

Rhyhorn stood up and pawed at the ground with his foot. HE then dashed off for Totodile who took in a deep breath of air and puffed his chest out. Trapinch was underground, staring at the scene.

He didn't nkow what to do. Fearow and Rhyhorn were charging Totodile, and he was still charging his attack. Finally, Trapinch decided. Rhyhorn was slower and was further away, so he would knock Fearow away.

Trapinch popped out of the ground, right underneath Fearow. He slammed in to the giant bird, and sent it flying back. he landed on the ground, being sure to shield Totodile from Fearow.

Rhyhorn was very close now. Totodile closed his eyes and right as the Rhyhorn was getting ready to hit him, Totodile shot forth a huge spray of water. Rhyhorn flew back, and rolled across the ground, knocked out.

Giovanni returned Rhyhorn and focused on the scene again. Trapinch looked at Giovanni, but to his grave mistake. Fearow slammed in to Trapinch, sending him flying back and knocking him out.

"Use Ariel ace." Giovanni said.

"Use Scratch!" Max knew that Fearow was to fast for Totodile alone to use a powerful water gun. He took off Trapinch's Pokeball and returned him.

Fearow dashed towards Totodile, trying to hit him with an ariel ace. He spun around in circles, building the strength up and slmost hit Totodile. Totodile at the last second leapt in to the air, and landed on Fearow's back.

He heald on to a handful of feathers and kept one hand up, as his claws grew sharper and sharper. He then pulled back a little and then slammed his claws in to the huge bird's back The Fearow squaked in pain and crashed to the ground, but turned around so that it would land on Totodile.

Fearow blinked a few times, but was knocked out. Giovanni returned the bird and then Totodile slowly rose to his feet. That had won, but barely. Max returned Totodile and looked at Giovanni through the bandana.

"You know something, Max? Do you know who your father is?" Giovanni asked.

"Of course. I've lived with him my entire life." Max said matter of fact like.

"Ha...that's not your father...that's your step father. Your real father and moth divorced from eachother a few months after your birth...and it was actually over you. They hate eachother and promised not to speak a word of this to you. Your father is alive and knows all about your work in the Dark Brotherhood, and he has sworn to approach you. When he does, he'll either give you the chance one last time to join the Clan of Hope, or he'll kill you personally. DOn't get me wrong, Max, he loves you alot." Giovanni's expression actually looked remotely like he was full of sorrow "ANyway, just to let you know...so are you going to come back to the Clan of Hope? We could really use strength like yours." Giovanni asked.

Max looked at his feet. He had a strange feeling that Giovanni was telling the truth. Then a question popped in to his head.

"So, does that mean I have more brothers and sisters?" he asked.

"Yes, you have one older brother who's in the Clan of Hope that your father took with him once he moved. Now answer my question." Giovanni said.

"Fine. I decline. Where's my father? I want to personally meet him, and hopefully creme him in a battle. Now tell me, where's my father?" Max threatened.

"Hehe...your father's one of the best battlers in Clan of Hope, you have no chance at winning." Giovanni said.

"I don't care! I want to meet him! Now tell me where he is!" Max felt like tears were swelling up in his eyes, but Giovanni wouldn't be able to see him cry...because of the bandana.

"I can't tell you. I've sworn to secracy." Giovanni said turning his back to Max.

Max gritted his teeth. Anger just suddenly began consuming him. Suddenly, a bunch of dakr shadows formed around him. The darkness. Giovanni turned around and suddenly, Max was standing right in front of him, ready to stab him with a knife.

Giovanni's eyes widened and Max stabbed the knife in to his chest. Giovanni's eyes rolled in to the back of his head, and he collapsed to the ground. Max dropped him and took the knife out of his chest.

"Bad choice." he said walking away from the dead corpse of Giovanni. Little did he know, though, that his father was watching the entire time, and that Giovanni was only wounded a little, not much, and he could roll his eyes in to the back of his head without dying...but Giovanni was still alive.

"Now son...let's finish this!" Grecko's father yelled across the cave to his son. "You asked for it dad!" Grecko said in an evil way. "Typhlosion flame wheel! Electivire Thunder punch!" Grecko's father commanded his pokemon.

"Wartortle water gun on Typhlosion! Chimchar protect Wartortle from Electivires thunderpunch with ember!" Grecko commanded his pokemon. "War!" Wartortle yelled as it shot another water gun towards the spinning Typhlosion. "TYYYY" the typhlosion yelled as it dodge the water gun attack and continued to jump forward. "AHHH!" Grecko yelled as he saw both of his dad's pokemon jumping heading straight for Wartortle.

"CHIIII!" Chimchar yelled as it jumped in front of Wartortle and began to fire an ember attack at both pokemon. "Your gonna need to do better than that son!" Grecko's father said as both of his pokemon pushed through the ember attack and struck Chimchar.

"CHHHHHHIIIIIIII!" Chimchar yelled as it went flying into the cave wall behind Grecko. "No Chimchar are you ok!" Grekco said as he ran over to his pokemon. "Chiii...CHIII?" Chimchar said as it stood up and began to glow. "It's evolving!" Greckos dad said.

Grecko watched as his Chimchar stopped glowing and transformed into a Monferno. "MONN!" Monferno yelled as it began to jab its fist forward. "Alright let's finish this! Wartortle use Water gun while Typhlosion is right there! Monferno use Ember on Electivire!" Grecko yelled to his two pokemon.

"Typhlosion, Electivire counter attack with thunderpunch and flamewheel." Greckos dad ordered his pokemon. All three pokemon charged forward and attacked each other with their ordered attacks. The four attacks caused a huge cloud of smoke to cover the entire filed, and when it cleared all four of the pokemon were lying on the ground unconcious.

"Hmmm well not bad son...but this isnt over!" Grecko's dad said as he returned his two pokemon. "I know that dad...I will finish it!" Grecko barked back. "Come on out Chansey!" Greckos dad hollered as he sent out his next pokemon. "CHAANNSS!" the pokemon yawned as it emerged from the ball.

"You remember Chansey, dont ya son?" Grecko's dad asked him. "Ya..."Grecko said back as he remember how Chansey used to take care of him when he was a kid. "Come on out Gulpin!" Grecko said as he sent out his Gulpin. "GULLL" the pokemon chanted.

"Now meet my Gulpin Dad!" Grecko yelled back to his father. "Hmmph lets do this!" Greckos dad said. Grecko just stood their with great concentration, ready to attack.

Tim0789: Chimchar evolved into monferno! Monferno grew to level 17. Wartortle grew to lvl 24.
 
"Shall we continue?" Professor Oak said, voice unquestioning. At Shaun's nod, a thin smile appeared on his grizzled old face. "Come out, then," he murmered, tossing another pokeball. With a burst of white light, a red lizard with a flame on the tip of its tail appeared.

"Charrr," the fire lizard said deeply, piercing eyes narrowing at Skarmory. Without order, it quickly opened its mouth and released a torrent of small fire balls.

"Mar!" Skarmory screached in pain, wings stretched in pain as the fire balls pounded mercelessly against its chest.

"Return," Shaun said hurriedly. The beam of red light returned the metallic bird back into its pokeball before the last fire ball pounded into the floor. As soon as Skarmory was detained once more, Shaun went to his next pokeball. "Golduck, Water Sport!" he ordered even as he threw the pokeball into the air.

With a burst of white light, the water duck appeared. Foregoing its usual battle cry, Golduck raised its beak high and released several sprays of water, thoroughly encompassing the area with a misty feel. "Golduck," Golduck said happily, looking pleased with its surroundings, body giving off a sleeky appearence. For a moment, Shaun felt slightly bad. Golduck had probably never really swam before.

"Very smart," Professor Oak said, ever the complimentor. "Charmeleon, my friend, Dragon Rage!"

"Water Gun!" Shaun ordered with a snap.

"Gool!" Golduck cried, releasing the blast of water from his beak.

"Charr," Charmeleon hissed, mouth wise as it released the ball of churning red and purple draconic fire. The Dragon Rage passed the Water Gun, and burst around Golduck, but the Water Gun blasted right into Charmeleon's chest, tossing the pokemon back. "Maaar!" Charmeleon screamed, writhing on the ground as its body steamed from the water surrounding its weakening body.

With Golduck, the fire wasn't real fire, but a draconic energy, and when it exploded around Golduck, the water type screamed just as loudly as Charmeleon. "Goool!" The pain intensified, but for Golduck, it seemed as if it were only sucking out a certain amount of health. "Duu..." Golduck breathed with a visibl shiver.

Charmeleon wasn't doing so well either. The fire lizard was breathing out the occasional flame that poofed out quickly thanks to the Water Sport attack. "Shake it off," Oak urged his pokemon encouragingly. "That's it," he said gently as the fire lizard stood shakily.

"Water Gun!" Shaun ordered quickly.

"Goldu!" Golduck cried, beak wide as it released the torrent of water.

"Dodge!" Oak said quickly. With a fierce snarl, Charmeleon leaped away, giving only the faintest signs of a wince as the splash from the Water Gun hurt it. Fire types were very wary of even the smallest of puddles, and a splash from a Water Gun was still a dangerous thing. "Use Smokescreen to hide yourself," Oak ordered as his pokemon landed a ways away.

"Confusion," Shaun snapped. "Stop it in its place."

"Gooo..." Golduck crooned, gem on its head glowing as it stared eerily at Charmeleon.

"Cha," Charmeleon gasped, mouth wide open with just the faintest hint of a Smokescreen escaping from its lips. Its eyes were wide and unmoving, but its tail flame continued to flicker, the only indication it was feeling rage.

Professor Oak gritted his teeth, knowing his pokemon was stuck, but he still tried an attack. "Push through it," he urged. "Dragon Rage!"

"Water Gun!" Shaun ordered, pointing a finger at the immoble Charmeleon.

"Gol!" Golduck cried happily, beak poised. "Duck!" With that last cry, a blast of water came gushing out of its mouth, straight at the wavering Charmeleon.

"Cha," Charmeleon hissed as it got control of its limbs and shook its head, only to look up in time to see the blast of water hit it head on. "Chaar!"

"Charmeleon!" Oak yelled, voice laced with worry as he ran over to his heaving pokemon. He laid a grizzled hand on Charmeleon's chest in a soothing gesture. "You did well, my friend, especially against your weakness."

"Cha," Charmeleon said weakling, though thankfully as Oak returned him to his pokeball.

Professor Oak stood back up, hand going to his last pokeball. "It seems we are down to out last pokemon," he said gravely.

Shaun nodded as he recalled a happy Golduck. With a grim look, they both shouted, "Go!"

With a flash of bright light, two green pokemon with spiky leaves and a closed bulb. "Ivysaur!" they both snarled, glaring at each other.

"My, how you've grown," Professor Oak commented to Ivysaur. "You were just a Bulbasaur not so long ago..." He trailed off. "Let's begin."

"Agreed," Shaun said coldly, eyes already set on the battle ahead.

"Hmmphh Chansey you may have taken care of me when I was younger but since your on my fathers team I have no choice but to take you out!" Grecko said to the Chansey that once nursed him. "Well you may still care for pokemon but you have also grown ruthless towards them...son i'm sorry about everything...but this has to end...you need to let the darkness go...or i have to kill you!" Grecko's father sadly said to his son.

"HAHAHA you kill me! Come on old man, you may have strong pokemon but you could never kill your own son. You also don't have any idea how strong this power is...its to strong...i can't give it up.." Grecko said with force but than started to feel remorce. "Son, your right I can't kill you...but I can beat you in battle! Chansey use double slap on Gulpin!" Grecko's father said.

"Gulpin use yawn!" Grecko shouted to his pokemon. As Chansey came in to use it's double slap Gulpin used it's yawn attack without being seen. "GULLL!" Gulpin yelled as it was tossed across the field from the double slap. "Your Gulpin seems to be your weakest pokemon son, thats a shame...you should train all of your pokemon equally!" Greckos father stated. "My Gulpin may be weak but I know a good tactic here or there Dad so strength doesn't always matter! Remember when you taught me that?" Grecko yelled back.

"I do..but this is over...Chansey use sing!" His father commanded his pokemon. Chansey began to sing, and Grecko covered his ears as his Gulpin dozed off to sleep. "GRRR, well you may have put my Gulpin to sleep...but he's not the only one taking a nap dad!" Grecko said as he pointed a finger to his fathers Chansey who was now sleeping. "Wel I guess you weren't bluffing when you said you had a tactic...but it's not point in crying over spilt milk...Chansey return!" the man said as he recalled his Chansey.

Grecko also returned his Gulpin and waited for his father's next choice of pokemon. "It's over son...Tyranitar, Rhyperior, come on out!" Grecko's father yelled as he sent out two huge pokemon. Grecko was taken aback by the site of these two pokemon...he had never seen them before with his dad. "Don't you remember son, the day i took you out on a camping trip and we were attacked by a Rhydon and a Larvitar? Well these are them...I trained them just for this occasion!" The man than stated back in response to his son's frightened look.

"Hmmph I remember...but i dont care how big they are...I'm still gonna win!" Grecko yelled as he tossed out two pokeballs. "MOWWWW" "LUUU" the two four legged pokemon said as they emerged from their pokeballs. "LETS DO THIS DAD!" Grecko yelled to his father. "Alright son.." his father quietly said back.

"Glameow use hypnosis and Luxio use Spark!" Grekco commanded from his two pokemon. "Rhyperior Rock blast! Tyranitar Rock Slide!" Grecko's father than commanded from his two pokemon. "RAAAAAAAAAA!!!!" they both yelled as the cave around Grecko began to collapse and Rock's began to cover up his side of the field.

"WHATTTT!!! NOOOO!" Grecko yelled as the rocks began to cover all around him and his pokemon. "I'm sorry son...this had to happen..." Grecko's father said back sadly as he watched his son and his son's pokemon get covered in boulders. "Tyranitar, Rhyperior return...huh?" Grecko's father said as he was about to return his pokemon when he noticed something happening from the rubble.

"It can't be...could he have really been taken over that much by the darkness to be able to escape from that..." Grecko's father said slowly as he witnessed his son emerge from the rubble covered in darkness, and so were his two pokemon. "Miss me dad? Luxio use tackle and Glameow use Fake out!" Grecko commanded his two dark colored pokemon. "HUH!" His father yelled as he witnessed his son's pokemon emerge from nowhere and take out his Rhyperior.

"Hahahaha and now for your Tyranitar!" Grecko yelled when all of a sudden both his pokemon collapsed. "What! Luxio...Glameow...get up!" Grecko yelled to his pokemon. "It's no use son...the darkness has worn them out...there almost on the brink of death." His father said back to him in a state of awww. "NOOO!" Grecko said as he returned them to their pokeballs. "I CAN'T LOSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Grecko began to yell uncontrollably causing the rest of the cave to collapse and the lava in the volcano to begin to rise.

"Son stop it!" his father yelled, but it was to late, Grecko was uncontrollable now. "Tyranitar return...Starraptor come on out!" His father yelled as he switched pokemon. He looked down into the volcano and saw the lava was rising even higher and was really close to them now.

"Use Ariel Ace on my son!" He ordered his bird pokemon. "STAARRR!" the pokemon yelled as it charged in as hard as it could slamming the dark controlled Grecko off the wall and into the rubble. "It's over son...." His father said softly as he picked up his unconcious son and threw him onto the starraptor. He than hopped on and looked down at his son..."I'm sorry...this is all my fault...but i promise...ill do everything i can to make it better."

As the rubble began to fall all around them the lava rose into the cave, and Starraptor made a quick and daring dash through the entrance...barley making it. Grecko's whole journey had come down to this...and who knows what is gonna happen next.
 
Angela yanked Gage back out his front door, and he knew that this was one of many things about her he was never going to get used too. Of course he was a bit upset that of all the good things he had said about her she focused on the one negative, but, what're you going to do. "It's ironic," Gage said,, "As a boy I always read about the knight saving the maiden so fair and getting a kiss... I got a bow and then yelled at." He laughed out loud and she stared at him.

"Is that what you had expected when you were defending me...?" She said as the two were walking down the path, she broke her stare right before. Damian looked down and stammered for a second not quite sure what to say.

"I guess not when I did it originally the only thing I wanted was to save your life, but I would be a liar to say it never crossed my mind whatsoever..." Gage realized the total ass he must've come off as just that moment. "I'm sorry...." He said and she shook her head back and forth.

"No, don't be, I guess I should be flattered... Have you ever had any friends who were girls Gage?" She tried to change the subject a bit and Gage gladly accepted the change.

"Well when I was growing up I spent most of my time with my grandfather going on expeditions and exploring the whole world, I saw Pokemon of all types but I never really got to much interaction time with women. The sad part of all this was for the longest time I had always hated Pokemon with all my heart so I was never truly able to appreciate what I was given y'know?" He finished his story with a question.

"No I don't know..." She looked confused, "How could you hate Pokemon?!?"

"They killed my parents..." Damian looked down on the path that was steadily moving underneath them trying to stay focused.

"I'm so sorry!!!" She said. "We really don't need to talk about this anymore if you really don't want to!" She said apologetically waving her hands back and forth.

"No, no it's fine don't sweat it," Damian said looking off trying to keep himself from tearing up, he would feel pathetic, "It was a long time ago and I was just a kid.... So I mean it's not even a big deal..." He sniffled and looked up showing a smile. "So... How about you? Any boyfriends? Err... Friends who are boys back home?"

She laughed, "No to the boyfriend, yes to the friend boys." She said... "In fact I probably spent most of my time with guys, my mother died some few years ago and I've been living with my father for a while...." Her faced seemed really upset, contorted into an upset facade and Gage watched as all of her tough facade melted away. She never seemed so vulnerable before, and Gage felt a real connection with the girl. She shook her head and slapped her cheeks, "Sorry Gage I don't know what came over me, I mean look at me I'm being ridiculous."

Gage sighed, "I know how you feel Angela and its not ridiculous, but whatever... You think were ready for our next gym battle?" He asked staring at her.

She wiped her face on her sleeve and said in her confident voice, "Of course we are, and this time we'll fight together 'kay?" She smiled.

Gage went to open his mouth when all of a sudden in front of them a womans voice sounded out. "Haha you really thought I wouldn't foresee you coming, I really do love being able to predict things, to bad you won't live long enough to see the ending I've already foreseen of this world, but don't worry your deaths are nice and painful, now guards get them." The woman dissapeared back into the shadows and ten Dark brotherhood guards ran forward each with a pokeball in hand. They each tossed out their Pokemon yelling out different commands and a gigantic barrage of psychic Pokemon appeared. Each of the trainers pulled back there hoods closed there eyes and sat in the ground silently. "

"Angela look out, they're psychic trainers, they don't need to yell out commands to their Pokemon!" Both of the teenagers threw out all of their Pokemon (Gage excluding Rattata) and the battle commenced. It was difficult giving so many Pokemon different commands while watching the battle play out in front of them. Gage and Angelas Pokemon seemed to split off into seperate groups, Clockwork (The Hoothoot) Nel and Angel, Grace and Brick, Spoons Bolt and Houndour.

Brick was struck by a nearby hidden power attack and turned to see his assailant was a Meditite. He wrapped his body around the Meditite and squeezed until Medidtite was completely immobilized, Grace jumped down off Bricks head and landed a perfect arm thrust as dictated by Angela. Across the route Nel was using her taunt attack to annoy a nearby Jynx who was swinging her fist wildly trying to strike Nel with an ice punch.

Angel and Clockwork flew down and grabbed Jynx by her feet flying high up into the clouds and dropping her to the ground. When Jynx hit the ground Nel sped up and slashed at Jynx knocking her out with a shadow claw attack. So far their tag team was flawless and their commands were going perfectly. The targets of Bolt Houndour and Spoons were two Mr. Mimes who seemed to be shielding themselves from every attack sent their way. Spoons launched two Shadow Balls directly at the Mimes and as they prepared to shield the attack Spoons teleports Bolt and Houndour behind them. The electric and fire attacks struck successfully distracting and damaging the Mimes enough for the Shadow Balls to break through the barriers and knock the two Mimes.

Angela turned and gave Gage a thumbs up and a wink causing Gage to fumble but successfully call out a command. Something peculiar was happening though... As Angela and Gage defeated the Pokemon, their trainers slowly dissapeared into the ground taking their Pokemon with them.

(As it stands, 2 Mr.Mimes down, 1 Meditite down and one Jynx down)

Both Shaun and Professor Oak eyed each other warily before letting lose their first command at the same time. "Razor Leaf!"

"Ivy!" the two grass types roared, closed bulb lowering quickly as they shot a huge torrent of very sharp leaves. The two Ivysaur gritted their teeth as the mass of leaves swirled around in a whirlwind of leaves. From the two attacks, they simply clashed, creating a standoff so that all the two pokemon could do was wait.

"Sleep Powder," Oak ordered immediately as soon as he saw that the two were at a standstill. Now was his chance to end this, even if this battle had only just begun, but he could not let Shaun get the upper hand. This was his life, Shaun's life... just a messed up life in this messed up world.

"Poison Powder!" Shaun barked. "

"Ivy!" Oak's Ivysaur snarled, already spraying a yellow powder towards its opponent.

"Saur!" Shaun's Ivysaur ground out, eyes narrowed into a glare as he shot out a burst of purple powder. Like the Razor Leaf attack, the two powders hit against each, but from the force and as because of the fact that it was small particles, bits of the powder managed to get towards both Ivysaur's.

"Quick, blow the Poison Powder away with Vine Whip!" Oak shouted. "Spin your vines to blow it all away!"

Shaun scowled. "Razor Leaf," he sneered. "Don't just blow Sleep Powder away, but hit the Ivysaur."

"Saurr!" Ivysaur roared, bulb still lowered as the large torrent of leaves burst forth, swirling around and sending the Sleep Powder away where it finally disappeared into the air while the sharp leaves began to bang against his opponent.

"Ivvy!" Ivysaur grunted loudly, shaking his head and closing his head on pain as the leaves pounded away against him.

"Ivysaur, quick, use your own Razor Leaf!" Oak urged.

"Sa!" the professor's Ivysaur snarled, quickly releasing his own Razor Leaf, hell bent on giving his own revenge.

"Sar! Sar!" Ivysaur howled, reeling back from the attack.

"Snap out of it," Shaun ordered, breathing out slowly through his mouth. "Leech Seed."

"Knock it away with Vine Whip," Oak said through narrowed eyes, looking as if he desperately needed glasses.

"Arsa," Ivysaur said with a nod, already bringing out his vines in preparation.

"Now!" Shaun shouted. "Razor Leaf!

"Ivvy!" Ivysaur yelled, large leaves twitching as the much smaller leaves of the Razor Leaf burst forth, each one smacking hard against his double.

"Sa! Sa! Sa!" Ivysaur howled with each pounding, eyes shut in pain, only to burst open, wide in realization, as the Leech Seeds, that it had been previously ready for, landed softly on his head and burst open and entwined him in vines, immediately sucking the energy out of him. "Saar," he moaned.

"Ivysaur!" Oak shouted in worry, teeth grinding together for a moment. "Let's try a Take Down!"

Shaun scowled. "You use Take down, too!" he snarled.

"Ivyy!" the two snarled as the grinded their feet on the ground before charging at each other like an angry Tauros, head already lowered. As they rushed at each other, both Oak and Shaun watched with stern eyes, wondering if the two would come to a tie. "Saa!" they both snarled, finally launching themselves into the air and going head to head with a dark grunt.

"You can do it!" Oak urged,

"Don't give in," Shaun said quietly, the exact opposite of how Professor Oak spoke to his pokemon.

"Sarr," Oak's Ivysaur sighed tiredly, trying to push forward with his trainer's urging, but the Leech Seed took that chance to sap his strength, leaving him on weak legs.

"Ivy!" Shaun's Ivysaur barked out, eyes widening happily as he saw the opening and using that chance to butt his head up and sending the other Ivysaur reeling.

"Saaa..."

"Ivysaur, come on," Oak urged. "Razor Leaf!"

"Finish it with another Take Down," Shaun barked.

"Saaar!" Shaun's Ivysaur roared, charging forward once more, wincing as the harsh leaves cut at his hide, but he went on. "Ivy!" With a vicious turn of his head, he sent his opponent slamming into the ground. "Ivysaur!" Ivysaur ground out, holding a foot down on his fallen opponent with pride.

Proffesor Oak looked stricken and, with a defeated look, he returned Ivysaur to its pokeball. "Good job, my friend," he said quietly, turning away from Shaun and looking out the window. "I assume you'll kill me now," he said after a moment of silence.

Shaun stared at the back of the old man, knowing that he was being watched through the reflection of the window. "No," he said after a moment. He reached into his pocket and walked over to the old man, unable to hide a smirk as he tensed. With a deliberate slowness, he placed the Soul Badge, Koga's badge, into the wrinkled hand.

Proffesor Oak blinked in surprise as he held the badge carefully. "I haven't seen this in... I thought that man was gone..." His lips became a thin line. "Where did you get this?"

Shaun frowned at the man's tone. "Was given it when I defeated Koga," he said smartly, glad that the man tensed up once more. "He's not dead," he stated. "He's... doing whatever it is he does."

Proffesor Oak let out a bark of laughter.

"Are you with Zypher?" Shaun demanded.

Proffesor Oak let out a small smile. "No, child, but what I do... it is to get power to restore balance to our world and..."

Shaun stopped listening after he heard the word power. He glanced down at Ivysaur, taking note that the grass type was sitting quietly at his feet. He licked his lips. "What do you do?"

The small smile never disappeared. "You'll just have to find out, won't you?"

Shaun scowled as the old man tossed his badge back to him. "Guess I will," he said dryly. "But I better be able to capture a strong pokemon to complete me team."

Proffesor Oak laughed. "Ever the power hungry one, Shaun. Oh, what I would have given to see you battle in the League! You certainly would have been cut down at bit!"

Shaun could only glare at the old man before focusing his glare on Ivysaur as the grass type let out a snort.

Sumner: Spoons grew to lvl 22, Spoons wants to learn Miracle eye delete a move to make room? Swablu grew to lvl 20. Onix grew to lvl 18 onix wants to learn rock tomb, delete a move to make room?
 
Four down and Six to go. With Angela's command the Pokemon quickly went to attack the remaining 6, Bolt, Spoons and Houndour, began attacking the annoying Haunter duo, while Angel, Clockwork and Nel took on the Twin Kadabra and Grace and Brick aimed for the two Kirlia's.

The Haunter's attacked first, firing off twin beams of Night Shade at Spoon's, but Houndour jumped in front of him and took the attack, knowing they would have no affect on his dark attributes Bolt then followed up with a Double Team and Thundershock Combo, which shocked the Ghost and they didn't have much time to recover before Spoon's came in with a barrage of Shadow Balls.

With Clockwork, Angel and Nel, they each took their own opponent. Clockwork and Angel took on one Kadabra, attacking it with a round of Peck attacks and a Peck and Astonish combination, while Nel was holding her own with the other Kadabra, slashing at it with Shadow Claw, while it blocked most of the strikes with its spoon and countering with Confusion.

While Nel was clashing her claws with the Kadabra's spoon's, Brick was saving Grace from the twin Kirlia's Double Team and Confusion combination, the Rock snake used its massive tail to swipe at the doppelgangers and bat them aside and Grace kept up her Arm Thrust attacks, which did little, but effective damage to the Psychic types, especially when Brick helped speed up the process my binding them in place and squeezing them hard enough to loose concentration so they couldn't teleport out of the attack.

The Haunter duo was the first to go down, with Ne;'s opponent going down next, the Sneasel then ran over to help Angela and Clockwork, who were struggling with their Kadabra and with a Well placed Peck, Astonish and Shadow Claw, the Psychic quickly went down and Grace and Brick had no problem taking down their opponents, as both Kirlia eventually fainted from the Arm Thrust and constant binding. Angela and Gage watched as the defeated Pokemon and their trainers melted into the ground below and Tai appears where the Guards once stood, something about him was different, he looked...

Unstable.

Something felt wrong and Angela felt herself involuntarily shiver, while their Pokemon all got into fighting stance and stood in a half circle in front of them, protecting the two. Tai was completely covered in darkness, his eyes were black and he looked... eviler, his voice was much darker than before when he spoke.

Was this what happened to those on the darkside? Without hesitation, he called out to the darkness, summoning a Pokemon neither Angela nor Gage had even heard about, or seen. Even their Pokemon seemed to falter slightly at this things appearance, it looked powerful and absolutely deadly.

"Darkrai Dark void on them now" Tai commanded eviliy as a giant wave of darkness came flying at Gage, Angela and their Pokemon.

[O.o It looked so much longer when I typed it up. Sorry its short, but describing that battle scene would've took me forever and I'm pressed for time at the moment -.-]
 
ShadowYashi: Great Post! It got your point across so don't worry about it! Bolt grew to lvl 20, sneasel grew to lvl 16 sneasel wants to learn faint attack delete a move to make room? Chapter 1

One Threat gone, another arises from the shadows

As the dark wave comes hurling at you, you think that this may be it for your run at saving Kanto. But then you hear a familiar voice that makes your whole body shake, it was Beo calling out a command.

"Giratina Aura Sphere" Beo shouted as right in front of your faces an unknown giant snake like pokemon with many claws and Piercing red eyes appear from the darkness Stopping the dark wave in it's tracks. Then Beo slowly follows behind. You start to wonder why Beo has saved you, but then you understand.

"Oh Tai, you had such hope, then you had to go and steal my research on Darkrai, and capture him for yourself, well I guess you'll just have to die then i'll own both pokemon of the shadows" Beo shouts to his new foe.

"Hahaha Beo, Beo, Beo.... It's over" Tai shouted laughing.. "Darkrai attack Giratina with Night shade now"

"Giratina Aura sphere" Beo shouted as the two ledgeandary shadow pokemon fought in mid air in was an intense battle to watch..

You then realize it was your chance to escape and you start making your way towards the saffron city exit.. But as you start two leave you look back, and see Tai come out from the shadows right behind Beo.. Beo's eyes grow wide eyes Tai whispers into the his ear.

"You aren't meant to control the shadows" Tai whispered as he stabbed Beo's chest with a knife. Beo dropped to the ground his body without life. He was dead.. Then his body slowly was engulfed in darkness and devoured. Tai then grabbed Giratina's pokeball and returns both the shadow pokemon.. He then turns to look at you two....

"Surely now you realize the world is doomed" Tai said as his dissepeard into the shadows..

What to do:



  1. Describe the battle between Girtina and Darkrai
  2. Describe the look on Beo's face as he dies.
  3. Enter Saffron City.
  4. Make a phone call to Zypher telling him what has happened.

This chapter is just one post, and is used to progress the story.

Journey to Lands

As you sit on the cave floor waiting for Lance to return, Oaks phone rings.

"Hello.... oh is that so... now things are more out of hand..Well should we keep with the plans...Ok.." Oak said into the phone, he then turns to you. The expression on his face is no longer the calm cool collected one he usually has.. It full of horror and disbelief.

"Beo is dead" Oak mutters to you... "Things are going to get even worse now that Tai controls the two legendary beasts of the shadows... We must act quickly" he says

"Soo you must be Shaun the boy who Oak has put all of his Faith in since the day he met you, well I hope your ready for your journey" Lance says in a cocky attitude.. He has red spikey hair, and a black cape flowing behind him. He then realeses his Dragonite out and the huge dragon stands there with glory. You can feel the power coming from it.. This power makes you feel like you made the right decsion by chosing Oak and Lance.

"Now we must hurry you need to get to Shinnoh once you arrive there, call me and you will be given instructions" Lance says as he motions for you to jump on Dragonites back. Lance then hands you a bag full of supplies and then Dragonite takes off at full speed..

As you leave the region of Kanto behind you emerge out of the Dark shadows into a world of light. And for a brief moment you have missed the feeling of the sun.

What to do:


  1. Talk about how you feel once you hear that Beo is dead.
  2. Discuss your hunger for power.
  3. Talk to Lance.
  4. Describe emerging out of the shadows and into the light.
  5. And then wonder what mission you are all of a sudden on
  6. and who are the two ledgendary beasts of shadows that now seem to have fallen into Tai's grasps.

Shaun gave an annoyed grunt as he sat on the icy cave floor, watching the old proffesor talk on the phone. Oak's face was getting paler and paler. "What!" he finally shouted, startling Shaun into a standing position. "My God," Oak breathed as he hung up the phone, looking down in silence for a few moments. Shaun cleared his throat, demanding to know what had frazzled the old proffesor. "Beo's dead," Oak said quietly, "and Tai is in control of two legendary pokemon."

Shaun frowned. Who was Tai again? And two legendary pokemon... Shaun felt around his belt, taking comfort that he still had a few pokeballs that could capture other trainers pokemon. If he met this man... no, not yet. His pokemon needed to get stronger. "What now?" he demaded.

"You go on your new mission," a new voice said. From the entrance came a man with spiky red hair and cocky attitude. He grinned easily, looking completely comfortable, but he had a power about him and, for the first time, Shaun felt he had made the right choice. He would get this power as well, but if this side turned out to be a hoax, he would have no trouble with turning to another path.

"And where is my mission?" Shaun asked carefully, quickly looking down to see Ivysaur tense, prepared to battle if neccessary.

"To Sinnoh," the man said, surprising Shaun.

"And who are you to order such a thing of me?" Shaun asked, scrutinizing the man before him.

"Shaun, this is Lance," Oak explained. "You will be given a ride and then called when arrived so that you may get directions."

"I have my own ride," Shaun said stubbornly.

Lance let out a bark of laughter. "Oh, I like this one, Oak! We need spunk like this." He turned to Shaun. "You may have your own flyer, boy, but is it fast?" With that same cocky grin, Lance tossed a pokeball, releasing a large dragon. It was creamy in color and slightly bulky in the stomach, but it seemed to fit. It had a single horn, a pair of antenna and powerful wings.

"Draa!" it called, pumping its wings readily.

Shaun glanced down at his pokedex, amazed to see that it was a Dragonite. Even before the dark war, this dragon line was very rare, but now it was almost impossible to find, and to see one was a treat. Shaun really had to fight the urge to try and capture it with a dark ball, but he wasn't foolish.

"Very well," Shaun conceded, knowing that although Skarmory was fast, it had just gone through a battle, and no non-legendary pokemon was as fast as Dragonite in the air. It was said that a Dragonite could fly around the world in sixteen hours.

"Good to see that my invention is still be putting to use," Proffesor Oak said happily, gesturing to Shaun's pokedex as the boy clambored ontop of the great dragon. "Good luk, my boy."

"Whatever," Shaun muttered, slightly irritated that Lance grinned at his attitude.

"Gonit," Dragonite said happily as soon as Shaun was secure. With a mighty flap of its wings, they were already sailing through the air.

Shaun felt his breath sunk in. He had never flown on anything before, let alone a pokemon. It was both thrilling and exilerating all at once. The area in the sky seemed foggy, clouded with darkness, but Dragonite flew past it all, right over it so that the sky became a clear blue. Shaun had to shield his eyes for a moment. He had grown up with the dull gray sky, and seeing such a clear sky was daunting. The sun finally felt warm, and Shaun liked this, but he would be damned if anyone though this would change his way onto power.

He would do anything, even betray all those he supposedly helped. Those two legendary pokemon Oak spoke of... they would be his.

Mission Max

New Boss.... New ways.

As you leave the area of Mount Silver, you start to get an odd chance that something has just happened.. And then from behind you Tai appears from out of the shadows.

"Ahh good old Max, I knew you'd stay loyal it seems the rest of your friends have abandon the way of the shadows" Tai says.

You sit there and wonder why Tai is here talking to you.

"Ohh by the way i'm your new Boss, Beo is gone" Tai said.

He then grabs you and the both of you disseapear into the shadows.. and reappear back at the Dark Brotherhoods base.

Tai then leads you down a dark hall way and into an unknown doorway. When you come out the other side your in a room you've never seen before.

"You should feel happy i'm your new leader.. Beo had set the three of you up to die, he had different goals in mind.. But my goal is simple.. Control the shadows, and now with Girtina, and Darkrai, I have just that, now you have a new mission" Tai says as you wonder what this new mission is.

"I'm about to unleash the full force of the darkness on Kanto, but first I need you to do me a favor, the one person who holds the key to keeping light in Kanto.. Zypher... must be killed... so go get your stuff together.. you may not be coming back" Tai says to you as he leaves the room.

What to do:

  1. Describe your feelings towards Tai being the new leader.
  2. Talk about your new mission
  3. then head back to your room and get some things together.

Fatherly ways

"Son wake up" a voice says as you finally awaken from your long sleep.

"Ahh it's good to see you awake, we have to talk about something though"

You wonder why you didnt die in that volcano, or what your dad needs to talk to you about.

"Beo is dead, Tai killed him.... and now he controls the two ledgendary beasts of the shadows, but Zypher believes that there is two separate ways to go back to the way Kanto was" Your dad says as you wonder what he is talking about.

"If you do this it could save you from the darkness... You need to go to Johto son.. Then give me a call when you arrive... this is important" Your father says, as he calls out his Starraptor, and motions for you to jump on.

After awhile you fly away into the sky and as you leave the shadowed region of Kanto and enter the clear blue sky filled with light you feel maybe you can lose the darkness.

What to do:


  1. Wonder why your father saved you
  2. describe how you feel about the death of Beo
  3. Wonder what your father meant by the way kanto used to be.
  4. And what are your feelings once you enter the sunlight.
