[Released] Pokemon Pathways (1/19/25: Alpha 9.1.3)

Updated game version to Alpha 3.0! A ton of quality of life changes and polishes to the game, all to make the experience feel better and balanced in my opinion!
if you ever come across a bug, you can always post it here with a screenshot and I'll take a look. Hope you guys enjoy!

uh when i tried accepting the side quest to find the guy's 2 sisters or whatever it was on monday in the first area the game crashed........ if its any help i can try and replicate the crash so i can grab a proper crash report

Thank you for the feedback we gonna fix it as soon as possible I'm sorry you had a crash. We thank you for reachin out to us. We can't thank the community enough for helping/telling us about bugs in the game.

I loved the game, but it bothers me a lot all the bugs there are.
The first bug I found was with an old man at the entrance of the school, if you talk to him, the game is closed.
The second is with a guy who asks for a mission to look for his sister if you tell him that yes, the game is closed.
The third is with the Kecleon seller, if you talk to him, the game is closed.
The four is with a scientist who asks you to go to a cave for a rare pokemon, or something, I did not understand very well, if you talk to him, the game is closed.
And those are the bugs I found, I do not have more.
I hope you fix the bugs, because really the game I liked a lot.
Sorry if the text did not write it well, I speak Spanish and I'm using the translator.

Thanks for reporting the bugs you found. I have fixed all of the bugs you found except the second one. The Old man at entrance of the school. I'm unsure of where exactly or who the npc is, but A screenshot would help. I will be releasing an alpha 3.1 patch with the fixes either today or tomorrow. I'd like to give the community more time to find things I may have missed. Once again thanks for reporting and playing!

this is the NPC they were speaking of, i would know this is the case as i too experienced the issue

EDIT: saying yes causes the crash but saying no let's you continue as normal

Oops, I meant the first one! The bug with the old man infront of the school was the one I couldnt find. I already fixed the bug with the sisters quest. My apologies!
 
When I talk to the guy that gives the quest to check on his sisters I get this

Hi! I have two problems/bugs - 1) I downloaded the update and merged the files (when I tried playing w/o merging the files, my save didn't carry over despite saving in the Pokemon Center), but it still says I'm on version 3.0, and 2) I'm having the issue someone else mentioned earlier about graduating to rank C but being unable to either start class (going to my seat does nothing) or leave the room. Did I do something wrong when downloading the update, or is there another issue at play?

P.S. - I'm really loving the game so far! It's such a unique and well-executed idea!

1) Hmm, Perhaps the way to update and carry over saves might be different. instead of merging all the files, try copying just your save from 3.0 and putting it in 3.1 save folder. See if that maybe works. Also, I realized I didn't update the game title from 3.0 to 3.1, so the game may say 3.0 but its not. My bad!

2) For now, I suggest maybe holding out on entering C. I'm thinking the next update might focus on C rank stuff so that little bug should be squashed.

P.S. - Thanks for reporting the bug, I would also recommend playing a different path in game if you haven't already. You'd be surprise by how much you can actually do before graduating. Cheers!

When talking to the nurse about checking the potential of my pokemon and after selecting one to check I got this

When talking to the janitor out in the front of the building on I believe it was Wednesday it gives me this right as he was about to give me something to stay healthier

Oh and I got to say losing 5 strength every time you push a boulder seems a bit much considering how many boulders you've put everywhere
 
Hello , could I have a download link for Alpha 2.1 ? I don't have the game on my computer anymore , although I do want to play the new version , which means I gotta save in the pokecenter
 
There's an invisible barrier at the tile right in front of my character

Also when fighting the guy with the smeargle when he uses sketch it gives me

though it doesn't crash it just continues after the message and says he can't use that move out of pp
Also when wandering the grass near the KAM guy it suddenly crashed I didn't catch the message though
 
Oh and while they say 3.0 I am using 3.1 maybe it's cause I moved a savefile over from 3.0

I fixed these 2 bugs in the upcoming patch.

Hmm, perhaps a change is needed. Im thinking maybe -3 or -2 Strength instead.
