    These are so, so cute! :3 Ahhhh yeah, I'd totally get a pair of those.

    However.. the A&D rules say that you must include at least 4 examples of your work to open a gallery. I'll leave this open for a bit so you can add three more pieces, but if you can't I'll have to close this. :( That being said, you're free to post this piece and any future pieces in the Art Critique & Showcase Thread.

    Good luck!

    Hehe, it's okay. Everything seems to be all good now. n_n;

    Are those 18g? Nickle or stainless steel? Also, what do you make them out of? They look like a plastic polymer (if so, I'm surprised you got them so shiny), but I'm not very well informed about these things. I'd love to know your trade secrets. :3

    They are 20G? Or whatever is the normal gauge for earrings. They are on nickel free posts. I have ear sensitivity to nickel and it seems like a lot other of people do too. I made a master copy out of sculpey and then molded and cast them in resin. Then I cleaned them up, painted them and attached them to the earring posts. I prefer it that way when I'm making jewelry, so that I can make one good master sculpt and then paint them. In the last photo, those earring were made of polymer clay =)

    Standard's 18g, but it's very possible that yours are 20g. Kinda depends on where you get the posts. But yeah I hear you. I personally don't have an allergy to nickle, but I know a lot of people who do, so I was curious.

    And yeah, that's smart. Having a master copy like that is going to let you replicate things more accurately. I'm going to second Kayla here too. I'd love to see a Great/Ultra/Master edition! n_n;

    Super impressed by your work. I had a really great business relationship with someone on Etsy who made custom gauges (I'm at 5/8ths so most things are custom for me anyway xD), so I can definitely appreciate your time and effort. Now, just out of curiosity, what kind of paint to do you use? It's water soluble, right? Like, would I be able to shower/sleep with those in?

    Sorry for asking so many questions, I've just always really liked functional 3D art like this but I've only ever worked with people, never done it myself.

    Don't worry about asking too many questions, it's nice. Most people never really engage with me about my works, so this is enjoyable.

    The paint I use varies. The red is a lacquer so it is waterproof. The black is regular acrylic (like most of the paint I use.) I do seal them (and the rest of my jewelry) with a few coats of sealer to make them water resistant. I don't recommend wearing them in the shower, it will probably shorten their life span a bit. But if you forget or are caught out in the rain it really shouldn't be a problem. I try to make them as durable as possible. I've been wearing my pokeball earrings for about a week straight, including in the shower and they're fine =)

    I'll see about getting some other pokeballs done soon. I'll just update this thread with more pics?
