Emerald hack: Pokemon R.O.W.E. 2.0 - an Open World Version of Pokémon Emerald(Gen 9, 16 Badges, Sevii Islands, Following Pokémon, Costumes and much More)

Good afternoon, i just updated the screenshots in the first page to include some things that will be available in the next update (1.6) and it will include Following Pokemon thanks to TheXaman, but there are some restrictions because the game its near its size limit so i only have space for around 50 Pokemon, i will make a poll to see what pokemon everybody wants to use as buddies in this game, the pokemon that are going to be followers in this game regardless of the poll will be legendaries since i will use the overworlds from their encounters plus some pokemon already found in vanilla emerald as npcs like zigzagoon pikachu dusclops etc plus the final stages for this game Starters
the poll will only have final stages since you will use them more than the others and to avoid using a lot of slots
i will make the poll in a later date so think carefully about what you will vote for since it will be 1 vote per person

I will also make a guide on how to add your own followers for Pokemon that couldnt get in and build the game

The changes that will make its way to the next version will be
-Following Pokemon
-Costume select for the Player
-a better Summary screen that show IVs, EVs and Friendship along with other things
-Overworld graphics updates
-Bugfixes and more

About the poll, I'm rooting for Serperior; not the boxy one everyone uses, but the PokeMMO sprited one.

only final stages will be an option
two votes per person
no legendaries since those will be likely in anyway
no gen 8 pokemon(no sprites for those yet)
just send a reply to this message with the names of the pokemon you want to use

Happy early Christmas everyone!, after 3 months of no updates I'm happy to say that the new update is complete,
it took a while to complete but its finally here, this introduces following pokemon to the game along with some
other neat changes and to celebrate the first anniversary of the game this update also has the first mystery gift:
Battle Bond Greninja, you can get it in Mauville pokemon center after 6 badges.

EDIT: I released another update that fixes the game crashing near the daycare, you may see some brendans after updating your save data just go to another map and there should be no issue

Just a dumb question... Where can I find a list of all following Pokémon available?

I don't have discord so perhaps you posted there and I didn't know.

@rioluwott I've been playing your hack for the fist time and chose hard difficulty. I have 3 badges so far. Each gym leader had "only" 5 Pokemon. Even with the level cap I feel like the game is not hard at all. Is it going to get any harder without spoiling too much? I know this is not Radical Red or Kaizo but I'd like to know if I will be challenged or not. Cheers

the game wasn't made with the intention of being hard like radical red since its an open world and balancing it would take a lot of time plus this game was made with diverse teambuilding in mind and making it as difficult as RR or kaizo would make a lot of pokemon unusable without a big buff
 
I respect that. I am sure there are many players that prefer your hack over difficulty hacks such as RR.
Just wanted to know if the gym leaders will fight with 6 Pokemon eventually and if the Elite 4 has stronger teams such as legendary Pokemon or other buffs that make them harder than gym leaders. That is all. Peace

they gain evs as you progress plus better movesets, held items and even megas they reach 6 pokemon at some point normally the first gyms have around 3/4 pokemon in the first badges and gain more member as you progress but since you fought them with a full team they use more members and thats why they look like they all have 5
 
Sounds good. So this run could become challenging at some point as long as I don't use OP Pokemon and don't use megas myself. I'll give it a shot. Thanks for all the information :)
 
This is a great ROM hack. Could someone please help me by telling me how to evolve kadabra to alakazam? The documentation says trade Evo, 0 - I don't understand that. Would really appreciate it if someone could tell me the how and where of evolving kadabra. Thanks a lot.

Go to slateport and go to the name rater house and talk to the Tradeback guy, he should help you with trade evolutions
 
I trained my starter Meowth to level 28, where it should evolve into Persian. But for some reason, Meowth didn't evolve (it was not holding Everstone). Help?
 
Hello I'm currently playing the 1.3.5 v and just found out about the new version. I wanna ask how to update the old 1.3.5 v to the latest version.
