Pokemon Ranger: Legends in the Making - OOC Thread

Plot​

For years now, Pokemon and their trainers have come face to face with danger on their path to competing in the Pokemon league. Be it interference from the dreaded team rocket, falling off the edge of a cliff or getting lost on their journey. Due to these events becoming more and more frequent, the need for Pokemon Rangers has risen drastically and in a short space of time, the Pokemon Ranger team has grown in to a full fledged corporation. Each of the three regions has a base where the rangers meet up and discuss their missions, re-stock on their equipment and do most of their training. The Rangers will dispatch from this base via flying Pokemon and dropped off at their destination to complete whatever mission is set upon them, only to return later when their job is complete.

The main base for this organization is stationed in Shinou where the founder of this enhanced company is stationed. His name is Mr Carlos Takeshi, a high ranking ranger back in his younger days, who took it upon himself to make sure that no Pokemon Trainer would fall into great danger when he was around. So, he took it upon himself to enhance the Pokedex's that were handed out to the young trainers at the start of their journey, it now includes a tracking device so that Pokemon Ranger's can find their targets with no problem. All the trainer has to do is push a distress button located on the Pokedex to call the main office and in turn the officee will contact a roaming ranger closest to the emergency and within no time a Ranger will be tracking you…of course the organization takes into account that some headstrong trainers refuse to be rescued and prefer to deal with their troubles alone. For those who have no Pokedex and are considered civilians, there is a phone number than connects to the base closest to where the person is located.

You are a rookie ranger starting out your days at the base in Hoenn. It's a long road to becoming a full fledged Ranger and you are trained by a top ranking ranger to be the best of the best. Of course you will be sent out on missions, but it will be some time before your qualified enough to go out alone. You are in for long hours of training at the base and even longer hours being taught survival in the great wilderness. When your basic training is completed, you will be split into pairs as per usual for a Ranger team and given a personal trainer who will then accompany you on small missions to see how you fare. At the end of your training you will be given a practical exam to show you have reached the next level and then you're ready for the real thing.

Every ranger stationed here is given their own dorm. To be honest with you the most you will be using these are when you are training, for most of the missions that come in are for escorts through forests or over mountains in which you will more than likely be required to camp out under the stars.

When you become a fully fledged ranger you will be looked upon to wander the many areas of the several regions in order to keep an eye out for any danger that may come to both humans and Pokemon. A majority of the time you will be given your own specific area to patrol in order to earn the respect and trust of the trainers and civilians, but there will come times where group missions will need to be performed and you will be asked to work as a team in order to accomplish more challenging missions.

Training

At the beginning of your training you will be introduced to one high ranking trainer who will take you through the basics. This will include physical training as well as theory training. You will also be given a team of three Pokemon that you will be training with and later completing missions with, these are your first chosen Pokemon, leaving gaps for your own Pokemon later on. The basic training session is held mostly at the base where you will be taught how to handle your Pokemon, how to work as a team, what missions you will be expected to do and more importantly how to go about it. You will then progress to outdoor survival where you will be taught how to take care of yourself, your Pokemon and your client when battling the elements and camping overnight.

When basic training is complete you will then be split into pair's, both trainers complementing each other with skill and Pokemon. Each pair will be given a trainer that will accompany them on low ranking missions to make sure that they pull through okay. These early missions will prepare you for what is to come and get you into the rhythm of having to deal with real clients and rescues.

When the second phase of training is complete, you will then be given a practical test with your partner to determine whether or not you are qualified to be a full fledged Pokemon Ranger.

Pokemon

You will be given a choice of three Pokemon at the start of your training, the choice is up to you, but all Pokemon that we have on display here are of starting level and have at least one evolution to follow and cannot be evolved via the use of a stone or special technique. After obtaining these three Pokemon you are left room to complete your Pokemon team with three other Pokemon, completely of your choice.

Your Pokemon team will consist of one main Pokemon and two backup Pokemon. Your main Pokemon will be the Pokemon that will stick with you through thick and thin, this meaning that after you have completed your training you will not be able to exchange it for another. The back up Pokemon on the other hand, can be donated to future trainee rangers and replaced with another Pokemon completely of your choice. The lead/main Pokemon however will be in your care for as long as you remain a Pokemon Ranger and beyond if you so wish.

Missions

There are many types of missions that you will be asked to complete.

Rescue Missions
These are normally straight forward and to the point. A Pokemon or trainer is in trouble and you must rescue them. These missions are normally over with in a day unless complications arise. This could vary from a Trainer falling and unable to move, a farmers Mareep falling off the edge of a cliff and unable to get back up ect.

Escort Missions
These are by far the most time consuming. Normally when an escort mission comes through you are in for a long trek and camping over night. These escort missions are normally civilians wanting to reach another town but does not have protection, a Trainer that has gotten lost or something that needs guarding from a thief, team whilst on the road.

Guard Missions
These missions are mostly held for low ranking rangers. They normally require a pair of rangers standing guard over some treasure. For example if an exhibition is on show at a museum, then Pokemon Rangers are called to watch over it. These missions normally include an overnight watch.

Group Missions
Where more than one team is needed on a mission, such as when someone is being held hostage, or when a mission is two dangerous just for one pair. These are normally saved for mid-high level rangers because of the danger threat. These could include attacks by team rocket/magma/aqua/ext or a hold up.

Extreme missions
These are saved for only the top rangers. When someone is in grave danger or great team work is needed. This could include just one team or an Extreme group mission where the threat is unbelievable. This may include a Pokemon on the rampage or on the extreme possible death or someone of great importance held hostage.

Special Mission types

Glider Missions
This could include when something needs protecting from above or an attack from above. These mission levels could vary but are kept for those with flying Pokemon.

Deep Sea Mission
When something goes wrong at sea, these are the guy's that are called. They specialize in water Pokemon and thus are the best option when it comes to dangers at sea.

All out Mission
When something is totally out of control, all rangers are called to the scene, even trainees and literally put their lives in danger to save people and Pokemon. This may include an all out attack on a city, threat to the land or attack by legendary Pokemon. Fortunately nothing of this sort has yet arisen.

Mission and Ranger Rankings

Each ranger is given a ranking as is each mission. With these the company is able to state which mission is suitable for which rank:

Ranger Ranks

Trainee Ranger: Those still in training. This team rank is represented with a Bronze Badge.

Rookie Ranger: For those who have just passed the trainee practical exam. This team rank is represented with a silver Badge.

Qualified Ranger: This is the most common Ranger Rank, for those who have passed the rookie exam and are now full fledged rangers. This team rank is represented with a Gold Badge.

Elite Ranger: For those who wish to take the career further. They are needed to pass another physical examination at a higher rank. This team is represented with a Ruby Badge adorned with a Regirock, Regiice or Registeel.

Extreme Ranger: For those with great promise and skill in being a ranger. They must have completed a great deal of missions and also pass another physical and theoretic test. This team is represented with a Sapphire badge adorned with a Zapdos, Articuno or Moltres.

Special Ranger: A team of specially ranked rangers who have surpassed the company's expectancies, they are most prone to teaching new rangers as well as being in touch with the head of the company. To become apart of this team is the decision of the boss. This team is represented with an Emerald badge adorned with a Mewtwo, Rayquaza or Deoxys.

Special ranks

Glider Ranger: For those specialised in flying missions. Must have a flying Pokemon and must pass a physical flying test with said Pokemon. The ranger must be at Elite rank or higher. This team is represented with a coloured badge representing their rank (ie: Rybu, Sapphire or Emerald) and a Lugia or Ho-oh.

Diver Ranger: For those specialised in water missions. Must have a water Pokemon and must pass a physical water test with said Pokemon. The ranger must be at Elite rank or higher. This team is represented with a coloured badge representing their rank (ie: Rybu, Sapphire or Emerald) and a Kyogre.

Messenger Ranger: This is for those who wish to keep their lives simple and deliver messages to rangers and clients. The ranger must be a qualified rank or higher. This team is represented with a coloured badge representing their rank (ie: Gold, Rybu, Sapphire or Emerald) and a Latios or Latias.

Dasher Ranger: For those who specialise in fast moving missions, this could be a road chase or when a fast Pokemon is on the rampage or has escaped. The ranger must have an extraordinarily fast Pokemon and must pass a physical test with said Pokemon. The ranger must be at Elite rank or higher. This team is represented with a coloured badge representing their rank (ie: Rybu, Sapphire or Emerald) and a Suicune, Entei or Raikou.

Forest Rangers: For those whose preference lies with working are forested areas. Must be elite rank or higher. This team is represented with a coloured badge representing their ranks (ie: Ruby, Sapphire or Emerald) and a Jirachi, Mew, Celebi or Shaymin

Mountain Rangers: For those whose preference lies with working are mountain areas. Must be elite rank or higher. This team is represented with a coloured badge representing their rank (ie: Rybu, Sapphire or Emerald) and a Groudon.

Deciding on a mission

To make this easier to control the company has issued a ranking scheme. This limits ranger ranks to the missions they are best suited for. There are five types of mission ranks:

D – For those of Trainee and Rookie Ranks
C – For those of Qualified or higher
B – For those of Elite or higher
A – For those of Extreme or higher
S – For those of Special ranks

The above ranks may also be mixed with specialised areas. For example if a glider ranger of the elite level wished for a mission, he or she may only complete B rank or lower missions.

Equipment

You will be equipped with the following items at the very least.
- A pokedex (complete with tracker)
- A backpack
- Camping Equipment
- Cooking Equipment (including food supplied by the company)
- Three Pokemon
- Mobile Phone
- First aid equipment (for you and your Pokemon)
- Protection (in this case a knife or some other form of small weapon)
- Tradition Pokemon Ranger outfit
- A ranking badge

You may carry whatever else you like with you as long as it is nothing unnecessary.

Personality: Grey is calm whenever things around him are calm. He is a follower if whatever must get done doesn't affect his grades, etc., but whenever something comes up and it will affect his life he will take the lead of the project and complete it with his best efforts and intentions. His mood changes as the mood of those around him changes. If it is a rainy day, he will most likely be gloomy, but on a bright day he will be happy and calm. Whenever something sad, devastating, happy, or joyous happens, he usually won't show much emotion. A good way to describe his personality is if the weather is good, he's good, but if the weather is gloomy, he's gloomy. Because of his small size he is usually picked on by kids his age and older. Usually the first time they pick on him is also the last. He has a darks side when someone threatens him or tries to hurt him. People learn that despite his laid back person, he can get mad fairly easily. Outwardly to everyone Grey is very calm and shy, but those who really get to know him will see that he can be very open and talkative, quite the opposite of his normal, laid back personality. Grey is loyal to everyone around him and when he is around strangers, he tends to try to be cool and mysteries to make a good impression, but he usually fails.

Past: Four years to the day before Grey was born, his brother, Thorn Jr. was born. Four years later Grey and his twin sister Scarlett were born on a rainy, gloomy day; his parents were Scarlett and Thorn, both were great, wealthy Pokemon trainers. Sadly, Scarlett died at birth. Then to make his birth sadder, his dad died less than a week later. Now Scarlett was a single mom of to boys: the newborn Grey and Thorn Jr., age 4. Then, when Grey was eight and his brother was 12, their mother died. After the deaths of his parents Thorn became very sad, and mad. Once he was 18, when Grey was 14, he became estranged from his only family member left, Grey. He left Grey in the care of Mary Iona, a boring, old caretaker. Luckily for Grey it was only four years before he leave, to hopefully become a Pokemon Ranger. After four years, Grey was finally able to leave, but with no Pokemon. On a search to find his brother, he ended up in Sandgem Town, where there was a Professor, who had a computer. He looked up his brothers name, Thorn Rey Rose Jr. he found out that his brother was the owner of the biggest money-making company and was better known now as Mr. Rose; Grey then knew that his brother would never help him. He was a big shot now, not caring about his orphaned brother. That is when Grey knew that he finally needed to follow his dream and become a Pokemon Ranger.

Other: Though Grey would love to become part of his brothers new family, he was filled with hate because his brother left him long ago.

Grey watched as night slowly turned to day in the small town of Sangem, Sinnoh. He yearned badly for all of his musical instruments left at home: his piano, both of his saxophones (his alto and tenor), his violin, and harp. All he had been able to take was his small pennywhistle. He quietly blew a few tones into the small recorder-like instrument. Soon the shadows of the buildings around him grew larger and larger untill it was almost too dark for Grey to see. He got off of the step he was sitting on and once again went to look in the music store before it closed. Sparkling saxophones and dazzling flutes lined the neatly tiered shelves in their small cardboard boxes. He was in the woodwind isle, with the many single and double reed instruments. He continued walking and made it to the string isle. It was divided into two sections: plucked and bowed. He could see the large box which held a harp, and also the small box holding violins. Grey skipped over most of the percussion instruments, only stopping once to look at the piano with its beautiful white and black keys. He played a small tune before being yelled at by the store owner.

"Can't you read?" he asked angrily, "Anyways it is time to close!" the man pushed Grey out of the door. There was a Chatot sitting on the mans shoulder, and a Loudred at his side.

Grey was once again back in the cold darkness left by the sun. He finaly decided that it was time to go to the Pokecenter to find a place to sleep. He walked in to the red building and was greeted by an always cheerful Nurse Joy.

"Hello, how may I help you?" the nurse said.

"I just need a place to stay for a night or so,"

"Okay, please just sign in right here," she pushed a small clipboard onto the desk. He signed his name, Grey C. Rose, befor leaving for a room.

He soon found one and went inside. He looked at the clock which read 11:00. It was late, and he was tired. He quickly fell asleep. Soon he found himself on the floor with the sun shining into his eyes. He was wide awake soon, and immediately looked at the clock. Now it read 7:00. It was a quick night for Grey. He quickly made the bed, and started to leave when he saw a small white envelope. Writted on the envelope was , R&R/TT. Grey noticed no return adress, but opened it anyways. It was clearly for him, as it read:



Dear Grey Christopher Rose,
You have been invited to the lab of Professor Hann. She lives in Slateport City, Hoenn. She has recently moved from Johto, and has built a new laboratory in Slateport. But the laboratory isn't normal. It is located underwater. You will need to report the Oceanic Museum located in East Slateport. There will be no need to pay admission. We will immediately take you to your first destination. You must be there at strictly 7:00 PM. We do not appreciate or tolerate latecomers. Once there, we will all leave for the Laboratory of Professor Hann. There you will receive your first Pokemon, which has been carefully chosen by Hann. Then, Hann and I will explain to you everything that is happening and why. Then, just as quickly as you came, you will leave. You are not to tell anyone about your visit to Professor Hann and you are not to tell anyone about this letter. Leave every one of you Pokemon behind. You will receive your Pokemon once you come to Slateport.

Grey was unable to read the name which was signed, which was unfortunate.

Slateport, aye?, Grey thought, That is in Hoenn if I do believe... I must leave soon. Grey quickly gathered his things which wan't much: a backpack and a letter. He signed out of the PokeCenter, and went outside. Before he left for Slateport he went back to the music shop for one last look. He walked up to the old man and held up his pennywhistle.

"Is there anything that I can trade this for?" Grey asked.

The man put on his glasses and held it up about an inch from his nose. "Hmm..." he said, "Chatot, Loudred. How much would you say this is worth?" The Pokemon looked at the instrument.

"Chat, chat chat, tot!" said the musical bird.

"Loud, d drid!" the Loudred said.

The man cleaned off the mouthpiece and played a tune. The Pokemon jupmed in happyness, clearly glad with the music the instrument produced. The man again said 'Hmm' and went into the back. He came back with an old, greatly-used alto saxophone.

"I can give you this," he said, gesturing to the saxophone, "and also eighty dollars."

Grey brightened up. He quickly traded, then asked how much the saxophone was worth.

"Umm, I'd say around one hundred dollars."

"Okay, thanks!" Grey said rushing out the door. He quickly opened the saxophone case. He put the reed in the mouthpiece, the mouthpiece on the neck, and finaly the neck on the body. He attached the neckstrap and played a small, happy tune. Then he quickly put it up and went off to find a way to Slateport City.

Personality: Qu is unlike most Gulpins. Though not a picky eater, he doesn't eat near as much. Most professors say that this Qu is unhealthy because of its unusual dietary habbits. Other than its diet, Qu is very happy and is only sad when Grey is sad.
Description: Wrapped around Qu's leaf-like thingy is a small cloth, where his Ranger Badge is put. Other than this, Qu looks like most other Gulpins.

With the pokemon, you simply have one lead Pokemon (your gulpin) and then two back up Pokemon that you will be able to change later on in the RPG if you want. As for the description of your Pokemon you can add any abnormalities that they have (scars for example) and because they will be wearing a Pokemon Ranger badge (the same as you do) they will need some sort of material on they're being (a collar or a bandana or something) though its not COMPLETELY necessary.

There are the normal clothes she wears when off duty. The bag in this pic is the bag she uses for her things.

Her cell phone color is pink, and it's style, is that flat looing style that opens upwards. She also wears a Poketch as well, a pink colored one.

Personality: She is very nice and trusting. Kind to her Pokemon. But she does conplain a lot. Marina really hates walking a lot. She likes to ride her bike instead. When Marina loses her temper though, she's like a huricane, so watch out. But she is very fateful to her friends and Pokemon. Marina loves anything that's cute or beautiful. She works very well with her Pokemon. She knows just the right attacks to call out each time to win. It is like she is one with her Pokemon. She can feel what her Pokemon is is feeling and react to it. She believes that you shouldn't ask your Pokemon to do something that you wouldn't be willing to do yourself. She loves her Pokemon very much and always will. She also believes that sometimes she should be fighting other Pokemon herself, not just leave it to her Pokemon all the time. That is Marina's way of working together with her Pokemon, fighting right along side them when need be.

When allow, she works very well. She uses her Ranger Gear to catch the Pokemon, and she can get what she wants done, very quickly. She likes to use her Stylest to catch Water Pokemon most of the time. When her gear doesn't work she must fight the Pokemon herself, just as her Pokemon would.

Hopes: Her hopes are to be the best Ranger she can be. Her dream is to help all Pokemon that she can. She wishes for a peaceful world where humans and Pokemon can get along together in peace.

History: Marina wasn't always a Pokemon Ranger. She used to be a Coordinator. She had started out with a Pikachu, going around Kanto challenging each Contest and winning every one of them. Marina even won the Grand Festibal. She was so happy and so so was Pikachu. Then one day she was attacked by Team Rocket. All her Pokemon died saving her life. Marina thought it was all over, but what she didn't know was that, that one event had changed everything in her life. She found that she could understand a Pokemon's feelings very deeply. After finding that out she decided to become a Ranger, a person who travels around the world helping both Pokemon and humans. She went to the Ranger's office and signed on to be a Ranger. Marina was very happy about who her partner turned out to be. It was a Pichu, and as Marina knows a Pichu will soon become a Pikachu. She then got her two back up Pokemon, a Plusle and a Minun.

Other: Has the power to talk to Pokemon. She understands what there saying and they understand what she's saying.

"You bet. I want a Goldeen and a Staryu like the Pokemon Misty used. They were beautiful," Kairi told him. She looked in the Pokedex at them both. Then looked at there shiny forms. She looked at Shiny Staryu's evolved forum,"Oh my god! Shiny Starmie is just breathtaking. It's so beautiful. I must have a Shiny Staryu no matter what. But who am I kidding. It would be impossible to catch a Shiny Staryu. Guess I won't be getting one of those then," Kairi said. She looked kinda sad as they both walked down towards the beach. Kairi wanted a Shiny Staryu so badly.

"Pika pika?" Pikachu asked Kairi if she was ok. Kairi didn't answer just continued to hang her head down,"Chaaa." Pikachu sighed.

(My battle with Shiny Staryu first)

As soon as they got onto the beach, Kairi spotted the Shiny Staryu,"Alright! Pikachu Thundershock!" Kairi called.

Pikachu ran out to face the Shiny Staryu,"Pikachuuuu!" Pikachu screamed. The Shiny Staryu jumped out of the way and used Rapid Spin on Pikachu,"Chaaaa!!!" Pikachu screamed in pain.

"Pikachu!" Kairi called. The Shiny form of Staryu was really strong,'What am I going to do? It's so strong.' Kairi thought. She hoped maybe Sean could give her some advice.

"Do your best. That's my only advice." Sean advised her, hoping that it would help. She was lucky to find a Shiny Staryu, because those things were rare enough without being shiny. Sean wished that his Horsea would be shiny if he found one. "Go on Kairi! You can catch it!"

"But it's so strong I... ahhhh!" The Shiny Staryu used Rapid Spin on Kairi knocking her out.

"Pika pi!" Pikachu cried running over to Kairi. The Shiny Staryu was still on the move. As quick as lightning Pikachu released all of Kairi's Pokemon and explained what was going on. He then Thunkshocked Kairi waking her up,"That's it!" She said as she saw all her Pokemon out,"I hate to do this but I'm going to have to cheat. After all it did attack me! I'll use all my Pokemon at once!"

"Pikachu! Thundershock! Nidoran Scratch attack! Butterfree use Poison Powder and Stun Spore! Jigglypuff Pond! And Gyrardos Dragon Rage!" Kairi called.

All Kairi's Pokemon, all expect Togepi ran at the Shiny Staryu releasing there attacks. Pikachu released Thundershock. Nidoran and Jigglypuff ran at the Shiny Staryu using Scratch and Pond. Butterfree flew over the Shiny Staryu releasing both Poison Powder and Stun Spore at the same time. Gyarados then released a very big dragon rage attack.

The Shiny Staryu tried to run away, but was corned by five different Pokemon and couldn't get away. All attacks hit at once. The Shiny Staryu screamed in pain. It then used Rapid Spin though all of the pain knocking into Kairi's Pokemon,"Hey isn't that thing supposed to be Paralyzed? How come it can still move?" Kairi wondered,"Pikachu Double Team!"

Pikachu used Double Team making quite a lot of other Pikachu. The Shiny Staryu got confused. It didn't know which Pikachu to go after,"Now! While it's confused, Jigglypuff! Nidoran! Use Scratch and Pond!"

Both Jigglypuff and Nidoran both ran up behind the Shiny Staryu and used Scratch and Pond. The Shiny Staryu used Water Gun, and Jigglypuf and Nidoran were both knocked out. Kairi returned them both,"Now while it's back is facing you! Pikachu use Thundershock!" All the Pikachus all at once let loose with Thundershock. The Shiny Staryu got hit full out but still wasn't out.

"Butterfree! Use Confusion!" Kairi called. Butterfree used Confusion on the Shiny Staryu. The Shiny Staryu got confused,"Yey! Wait ago Butterfree!" Kairi cheered.

"Gyarados use Thrash! And Pikachu after Gyarados uses Thrash use Thundershock to snap it out of confusion!" Kairi ordered. Gyarados started Thrashing about, hitting the Shiny Staryu over and over again, until Gyarados couldn't take no more and got itself confused,"Now Pikachu!" Kairi called. Pikachu released the Thundershock into Gyarados' body snapping him out of confusion.

"Now! Pikachu get ready to use Quick Attack. Gyarados grab onto Pikachu and send it flying when it uses Quick Attack to make the Quick Attack more powerful." Kairi called out. Gyarados grabbed Pikachu with his tail, and once Pikachu was charged up for a Quick Attack Gyarados released it and let it fly.

"Now conbind that with a Thundershock attack Pikachu!" Kairi told him.

"Pika!" Pikachu said as he hit the Shiny Staryu with a conbind Thundershock and Super Quick Attack.

Staryu screamed. It was getting pretty weak right about now. It wouldn't take too much longer now.

But the Shiny Staryu had snapped out of it. It wasn't confused anymore. But the poison was still at work zapping away it's engery.

"Oh darn it! It's not confused anymore! Quickly Butterfree use...." The Shiny Staryu used Rapid Spin on her again. Kairi coughed up blood. But she wasn't going to give up now. As a matter of fact she refused to give up,"I've come to far now just to walk away! One way or another I'm going to catch you if it's the last thing I do!" Kairi demanded,"Now what I was saying before! Butterfree! Use Super Sonic!"

"Feeeee!!!!" Butterfree called out as he released the Super Sonic attack all over the Shiny Staryu. The Shiny Staryu started shaking in pain. The orb in the middle of it's body was bleeding.

"Gyarados! Tackle attack!" Kairi called. Gyarados roared and flew at the Shiny Staryu tackling it into a wall.

"Pikachu one more Thundershock!" Kairi screamed, as she coughed out more blood.

"Pikachuuuuuu!" Pikachu screamed with all it's might. The attack hit the Shiny Staryu knocking it out.

"Now just in case, to keeping it from breaking out of the PokeBall Butterfree Sleep Powder!" Kairi told Butterfree.

"Feeee!!!" Butterfree screamed very loudly as he flew over the Shiny Staryu releasing Sleep Powder, putting it into a very painful sleep,"Ok!" Kairi said taking out a PokeBall,"PokeBall go!" The ball flew over to the Shiny Staryu sucking it up into the ball. Kairi waited holding her breathing and coughing up more blood as the ball started to shake. Kairi closed her eyes and prayed not daring to open them until she was sure it the Shiny Staryu had been caught or not.

Lead Pokemon

Species: Shiny Pichu

Personality: Marina's Pichu has a jolly cheerful personality. It likes to eat any type of berries, but it really loves apples the best. It loves to play in the water. It can be a tough battler though when it needs to. Pichu loves surfing. When someone messes with Marina though, even little Pichu can be like a hurricane just like it's partner Marina. Sometimes he can be just as stuborn as Marina is whenever he doesn't get his way. Pichu also conplains a lot as well. Pichu also love anything cute or beautiful. It loves shiny things like coins, even though it loves Sand dollars that are found on the beach, and there not shiny, guess it must just be Pichu's love of surfing that makes it like sand dollars. It loves to seach for shells on the beach, it loves the blue shells the best as it reminds him of the water.

Description: Pichu is a bright Shiny Pokemon, it wears it's ranger badge on it's neck. Pichu wasn't always a Ranger Pokemon, before it had a dream of surfing. It would surf all the time with it's mother, a Pikachu who once had a trainer who broke the huga dunta, and left his mark on a huge rock in the middle of the sea. After his mother's trainer had died in a car wreak, his mother left and went to live a peaceful life in the forest nearby, and met a male Pikachu and had babies. One of the babies, him the Pichu was born like his mother, for the love of the sea. He would always seak off and go down to the beach and play in the water. He even build himself a small surf board and went surfing a lot. One day though he was catchered by the rangers and given to a starting ranger named Marina, together they had started on there journey helping Pokemon and humans. But Pichu still loved the sea and always will.

Other: This Pichu has different colored eyes then other Pichu have. This Pichu's eyes are blue instead of black, just like his mother's eyes.

Ranger

Name: Maximillion(Max)

Age: 18

Gender: Male

Description: Max personally like the look of his uniform. Whenever he has ranger work to do he wears his uniform and usually wears red, white, and black running shoes instead of the semi-boots. He also wears one leather white casses on his black leather belt for his Pokedex. He wears a navy blue knapsack slung across his shulder and wears his sleeping back(rolled up) and tied to his back. Inside this knapsack is his camping equipment, cooking equipment, and his small knife for protection. He also wears a necklace where the end is large enough, that it holds his ranger ranking badge...he keeps it tucked in his Black T-shirt.

Whenever he is not at work, Max wears a red T-shirt, black pants, a white knapsack, a red bandana, his Pokedex and case, his cell phone which is dark blue that he keeps in his pocket at all times, and the same shoes.

Personality: Max has a high determination and immaturity level. Although he is 18 he acts as though he were 14. He is very immature and plays pranks on everyone he wants to. He loves to read books in his free time and also loves to train with his Pokemon. Whenever he has set his mind to do something he does it without question. He will never leave the line of duty unless his Pokemon or friends would die if he didn't.

Hopes: Max hopes to achieve the rank of one of the top rangers. His dad was, and Max plans to walk in his dad's footsteps. He wants to connect with his Pokemon and become best friends with them. He also wants to show everyone who thought that his dreams would never come true wrong and he also wants to make a few friends.

History: Max was born and his mother died in the process. When he was 5 Max had already lived a hard life of being shunned out of everything and being picked on. He always pulled stupid pranks and got in to trouble for, but he did it to get attention. His father died when he was 6 due to a horrible illness. He has 2 older brothers, Kurt and Will. Throughout his life Max was always the one being picked on and never had any friends. His brothers teased and picked on him.

When he turned 12 Max finally decided that whatever he sought his mind to he would do it. He sought his mind on getting straight A+'s on his report card and eventually did it. His brother's and everyone in his class called him anerd because he was the only one to get straight A's.

Will is now 25 and has two kids. His wife's name is Lucy and his children's are Maxwell and Gabbriela. Kurt is now 23 and has one child. His wife's name is Barbera and his child's name is Lucielle. Max has been dating one women of 17 for about 3 weeks now. Her name is Mary and he wonders if this will be the one for him.

Other: Max has the ability to heal Pokemon without a first aid kit, but still carries it around just in case. Max was told by the ranger station not to use his power unless it is life or death for a Pokemon.

Chapter 1: The Attack!

Will yawned loudly. He had just awoken to his brother, Horace jumping on top of his stomach. He opened his eyes and saw Horace sitting right on top of him. He sighed and shoved Horace off of himself and rolled out of bed.​

"Come on, Will! Today's the day you get your first pokemon! My step mom already gave me my first Pokemon yesterday...It's an awesome Squirtle!" Horace said gleefully.​

Will grunted as he walked over to his drawer. He opened the first drawer opened, grabbed his clothes, and thrusted it shut. He slipped on his normal, everyday attire. A black T-shirt and his roll up and unroll pants. He rolled them up to look just like normal, brown shorts. Then he grabbed his black belt, which was lying still on the floor, and put it on. He looked around his room and saw his green knapsack lying on his computer chair, which was sitting next to his bed. He jumped over Horace, who was playing with their real mom's Skitty, and landed right next to Horace. He reached over and grabbed his green knapsack then gently pushed Horace over with his foot.​

Horace lept up to his feet and they both walked out of Will's room and down the stairs. Since they had opened Will's door and stepped outside of it, the air was filled with a sweet aroma in the air. Will recognized it imediately. It was his favorite breakfast ever and his mom only made it for him on special conditions. Blueberry pancakes with eggs and bacon. Horace recognized it imediately too. As soon as Horace found out who his real mother was he slept over at their house for a whole week, every other week.​

Will slumped down in to one of the kitchen chairs and began devouring the food on his plate, which was sitting there beckoning him over.​

"Tanfs, for te foed, moffer." Will said with his mouth stuffed with food.(yes it is ment to be spelt like that because it sounds like that)​

"Yeah, mom." Horace said finishing his last bit of food.​

Will and Horace finally finished eating their food and were on their way. Professor Jacob had sent Will a letter yesterday about an errand and he only lived about 5 minutes away from his lab. Horace and WIll split up so Horace could say good-bye to his step mom before he left.​

Will arrived at the lab and noticed 6 other people standing at the front door. Will rushed over to the group and the door swung open. In front of them stood a taller man, or taller to Will anyway, and he wore a white lab coat and had brown spiky/messy hair. Then the man beckoned with his hands for the people to follow him in to the lab.​

Inisde the lab was huge. It was white all ver but had a bunch of hi-tech equipement. The man had a huge smile spread across from one point of his face to the other. Will looked around him and saw the other kids were wondering what to do next.​

Then, it happened. Glass from windows everywhere in the room shattered and 7 men dressed in black suits appeared. Unfortunetly, Will was standing right next to a window and a huge piece of the glass shattered and cut his right cheek from top of it to the bottom of it, and the man landed on top of him.​

"Oops. I still need to work on my landing. And, why does this ground feel so lumpy underneath me?" the goon on top of Will muttered.​

"We're here for everything you've got!" another goond yelled.​

Professor Jacob flinched and looked pleadingly at all the trainers...except for Will.​

"Help me please! Take one of those Pokeballs and fight them off!" Jacob pleaded.​

All the trainers nodded and took a single Pokeball from off of a table. When all the other trainers had taken the Pokemon there was only one Pokeball left. The Pokeball for Will.​

Will's back was starting to ache now. He started to move and the man tripped over Will, but then regained his balance right next to him. Will rose up and stretched his back and the man looked baffled.​

"So I landed on you!?" The man shouted.​

Suddenly the man grabbed Will's collar and then threw him in to the table which used to have 7 Pokeballs on it. Will landed on the table, breaking it in to two halves and laid there between the two broken pieces.​

The man smirked and Will wondered why he always got the crazies. Then, a small tiny pokeball rolled right up next to his head and Will grabbed it. He rose to his feet, his back hurting immensily now and threw the pokeball in to the air.​

In a blinding white flash a blue dog looking pokemon popped out, and Will knew exactly what it was. it was a Riolu.​

"Go, Gible!" the man shouted throwing a Pokeball in to the air.​

In a blinding white flash a little dragon looking pokemon appeared.​

"Riolu use Quick Attack!" Will said comadingly.​

"Gible use Tackle!" the man said.​

Riolu looked at Will questioningly. Will groaned because appearently Riolu wouldn't listen to him either. The Gible was approaching quickly though. In a matter of seconds the Gible had tackled Riolu to the ground adn Gible was currently sitting on top of him.​

Riolu looked at the Gible furiously now. Then, he kicked the Gible off of him and then punched his gut. The Gible flew back a few meters and Riolu dashed at him. The Gible landed on the ground with a thud and Riolu kicked him in to the air.​

"Now dive down with Tackle!" the man yelled.​

The Gible opened up his closed eyes and dove down in on Riolu. Riolu was standing underneath Gible and Gible landed on top of Riolu. Will took a slight step foreward as somehow dust was kicked up in to the air. The dust settled and Riolu was underneath Gible, but wasn't knocked out.​

"Riolu use Endure!" Will said.​

"Tackle!" the man said.​

But, Riolu wouldn't listen to Will. He pushed the Gible off of himself and grabbed the Pokemon's arm. He then started to twist and turn, banging the Gible on the ground with every turn. Will couldn't bear this. His Riolu wouldn't listen to him and Riolu was hurting the Gible to much.​

Riolu finally let the Gible go, sending it flying in to another battle. The Gible hit a battling Budew and then the Gible jumped to his feet and began charging Riolu. Riolu's back was turned to the oncoming Gible and suddenly Riolu was on the ground.​

"Fine! Riolu use Quick Attack!" Will said.​

Riolu finally listened to Will. He sprang up to his feet and kicked thew Gible in to a wall. The Gible slammed in to the wall and slowly slid down to the ground. It slid to a halt and then opend it's eyes. It was knocked out. The man gasped and returned his Gible and then sprang out of the room through the window he had come in.​

Will sighed with relief as his Riolu sat on the ground next to him. Will sat on the ground withRiolu too as all the other trainer's finished their battle.​

Name: Riolu
Species: Riolu
Personality: Riolu is very micheveous just like his trainer. HE loves to run around pulling pranks on everyone. He is also sometimes timid and can be very determined. He isn't quiet sure wether he wants Max as a trainer but he can't wait to be a ranger. He will never leave his friends or trainer, even if he doesn't like his trainer.
Description: Riolu wears a red bandana wrapped around his right forearm like all of Max's Pokemon. He also wears a ranger jacket(like the ones in the pictures...just smaller) and places the ranger ranking badge in it.
Other: Riolu has a bit of a timid nature. He isn't quite attached to Max yet, but Max plans on becoming attached to him very soon.

Name: Reina Moore

Age: 18

Gender: Female

Description: Besides the typical uniform Reina wears a flowing blue skirt, white shirt, tan vest unbuttoned, and a pair of hiking boots whan she is not in uniform. She wears a small napsak on her back, orange and green in color, with both her sleeping bag and pink cell strapped to the outside. She has long wavy red hair and brown eyes. She also carries around a light blue notebook she uses to keep track of any electric pokemon she encounters.

Personality: She generally keeps to herself, but when with others can be quite open and easygoing. She also has a fear of hights which she is trying to get over. She loves sour things and sometimes will pull pranks on her friends, though none of her pranks are harmful they will leave a lasting impression upon her unlucky victum.

Hopes: Reina has loved electric pokemon even since she caught a glimpse of Raikou when she was younger. Her only goal in life is to one day become an electric gym leader, and take on tons of challangers.

History: She needed some sort of experence and qualifacations with pokemon before she could apply for a gym leader position. So Reina decided why not get out and see things first before becoming stuck in one place. That was when a friend of her suggested that she try her hand at being a pokemon ranger.

"Glad to see your not hurt." Reina mumbled as she walked over with the Bulbasaur. She was sure the Professor had said her name somewhere along the time she had walked over, but she couldn't be certain of it.

"Bulba bulbasar." the grass pokemon smiled as he remembered Professer Angelus. She had always treated the pokemon nicely.

Reina sighed. "I doubt very much now is the time to talk. What I want to know is exactely what is going on here. I've already figured out this isn't a dream. So that only leves this as a reality."

She thought it over. She'd been in bed about to play her newest game. Pokemon Dark. She also had the light version as well, since she could never resist grabbing every pokemon game she could get her hands on. She currently had every game out so far.

But the point was none of the other games had ever produced a result like this one. The only thing she could guess was that somehow she'd been pulled into that game the moment she switched it on.

Often she had dreamed of going to other worlds, escaping the home she lothed so much. And her parents rediculas arguments.

"Bulba bulba...." the grass pokemon nuzzled against her leg.

Reina flinched at the contact, and frowned slightly. Was that pokemon..... invaiding her personal bubble? She had never been one for contact from anyone. Let alone a small animal of sorts with a plant bulb on it's back.

"Idiot, I said we don't have time to mess around." she snapped. It came out sounding a bit more harshly then she actually ment. But she had already decided. If this was real and she was to have a pokemon it was to be the best. Not some weak little cry baby.

Bulbasaur winced and looked a little hurt. "Bulba? Bulbasaur bulba...." He wasn't used to being spoken to so harshly, and it showed in his quivering voice, as his eyes shone with unshed tears.

"Return!" Reina pointed Bulbasaur's pokeball directly over him. "We'll have to work on that. Won't we?" she grinned, already deciding to take Bulbasaurs training as a personal challange.

"Bulba?" he prosted wekly as he was once more sucked inside.

Reina turned to the Professor. "I'm Reina by the way. Reina Moore." she refrained from offering a handshake. "Where is this anyway?" she gestured with her arms at the surrounding lands.

A small flock of Pidgey flew by overhead and into a forest, water sparkled on leaves and in little puddles. There even appeared to be a mountain far off in the distance. All in all it was quite a lovely sight.

Ranger

Name: Ash Lightnin

Age: 16

Gender: Female

Description: Ash, of course, is mostly noticed because of her Ranger outfit. It is mostly the traditional uniform, the red and white top and dark colored bottoms, just with a little bit of change to them. Not being able to stand any type of tight or short clothes, Ash has a little bit of a more casual uniform as she replaced her tiny shorts for trousers and her tight shirt for one with a little more room in it. Over her long, dark hair she loves to wear her ranger cap which completes her outfit. Usually, some people would think that Ash is a complete bum and no help at all with her outfit, but their minds are changed when they see her bright face and large, green eyes that assure them that she is extremely helpful.

Ash loves to dress in the exact same clothes as her ranger clothes when she isn't on duty. Instead of the pretty tight and girly clothes, Ash loves to wear something a little more casual and laid-back. This usually means some sort of sweat outfit or baggy shorts. Being a tad bit lazy as well when not on duty, Ash's beautiful dark hair usually gets out of hand without her noticing and the only important thing she worries about is getting a shower and getting back into her baggy clothes. When she wears some of her shorter outfits, people can see her strong physical appearance from years of conditioning and exercicing that she had done when she was younger.

Looking at the above description, it is easy to say that you will laugh if you take a peek into Ash's bag that she carries on her back. Being red so that it will match her outfit, it has a large assortment of strange and random things. The thing that fills up most of her bag is food and candies of her choice. In case she's out for a while, Ash wants to have something to eat, and some "comfort food" if she gets lost somewhere. Some of the other items in her bag include a small pad of paper and a box of pencils that she uses to draw and maybe take notes, a Rubik's cube that she loves to fiddle with, a small, crumbled picture of her baby brother, a small pot, and her favorite stuffed penguin. Then, if you dig to the bottom of her bag, you'll find a poorly folded and crushed down blanket that apparently she uses solely for sleeping in at night. She explains that she is a nature person and can't stand being cooped up in tents when she could look at the stars. She also said that she needed the room for other things.

Personality: Ash is an extremely light hearted person that is enjoyed by many people she meets or knows. Always sweet and kind, Ash loves to do whatever she can to help people that she loves and cares about. Many of her friends tell her that sometimes she helps too much, but she doesn't care at all. Everyday, she runs and conditions her body so she can be there to help anybody, plus it makes her feel more healthy and strong as well.

Along with her helpful side, Ash also has a tad bit of a lazy side that she frequently loves to display along with the helpful one. During the weekend and days she isn't desperately needed, Ash loves to kick back and relax. What kid her age doesn't? She displays how fun she can be and the spirit she possesses.

In the face of danger, Ash is usually a bit more feeble. This causes her to be more brave than she could sometimes and overract to situations that are silly and not dangerous. When afraid, Ash is extremely clumsy and uncoordinated, which worries some people about her starting a career as a Ranger.

Hopes: Ash tries to be optimistic about her future careers and what she'll end up to be. She basically decided a long time ago that she will go wherever the tide takes her and stick with it. Her true goal, though, is to get as high up in the ranks of a Pokemon Ranger that she can. With much effort, she decided that she would work as hard as she can and if that only meant that she would move up one rank, then that was where she was meant to be. Ash hopes to one day write and publish a journal of her adventures as a Pokemon Ranger.

History: Ash grew up as a complete idol in school. She was loved not only by the students as a funny and helpful friend, but as an intelligent student by her teachers as well. As she grew older, Ash's hard work in conditioning and training herself made her a talented and star basketball player and she received numorous awards in academics.

So, it seemed like Ash's life was perfect, right? In fact, Ash could only really show and be successful at school. She had a horrible home life and wasn't extremely appreciated there. Her dad, an untalented pokemon trainer, left for months and come back, snapping at her and Ash's mother because of his lack of success. One day, he left and never came back at all, changing the family forever and leaving it broken. Ash's mother, who had to turn to full time jobs to support the family, was able to support Ash and her little brother, Jake, so Ash was in charge of basically raising the small boy. She spent her days and afternoons taking care of him, which never allowed some free time for herself.

One night, Ash heard her little brother scream and immediately rushed to his age. When she arrived, she found him pale and scared and a Haunter prowling in his room. Using a spare pokeball, she managed to capture the Haunter and save her little brother. She almost found a thrill from this and wondered how great it would be to help pokemon and humans in danger like her loved ones. Soon, she found something to get away from her home life and help people at the same time when her brother was old enough to take care of himself. Packing her bags, she set out to be a Pokemon Ranger.

Larvitar! The guy had his hands on Gold's pokemon. He had also called it Pupitar. Was that really Mystery's name? Gold didn't care at the moment and only wished that he wasn't tied so he strangle that guy and take back what was rightfully his. But he played cool. The longer this guy didn't know that he was the trainer of Pupitar, the more surprised he would be when Gold snagged him back…somehow.

"The catch was the hardest yet, but I managed to do it. The kid I went against was powerful, but I took him out easily with my Venasaur's hyper beam. I don't think I'll be hearing from him anymore."​

Gold heard the words and shook with anger. He couldn't believe what he was hearing. This was the man that took him out in the middle of the route with the cold attack. Gold couldn't control himself anymore.​

"You were the one that attacked me in cold-blood! Give me back my pokemon, now!" Gold shouted in rage.​

The man laughed high and coldly. The laugh just made Gold realize how scared he really was and turned him into a little frightened kid once more. His rage had pushed him over the limit but it had dimmed just enough to make him afraid. "Well, well, what a treat we have here. I caught the Pupitar trainer! This capture keeps getting better every second!"​

Gold didn't say anything. There wasn't much more to say since he was tied to a chair. His mouth would only get him into more trouble than he already was. The only thing that was going to say him was his actions…if he could do any.​

"Your specialness is going to get you the special treatment. Now-"​

The door along the wall that Gold was leaned up against slammed open and a trainer bolted in with some pokemon pouring in the doors. He was wearing the uniform that Gold was wearing and had a gray mustache visible on his aging face.​

"Zaron!" Gold shouted.​

"Found you!" Zaron shouted at Gold. He quickly pointed in the air to order a Charmeleon standing next to him. "Slice through those ropes!" he ordered. The Charmeleon leaped forward and sliced through the ropes with its sharp claws causing them to just fall off Gold in little shavings. Gold quickly stood up and stumbled as he faced the mystery leader.​

"You've pushed it over the edge now," he growled. He pulled out a pokeball and held it up. "You will soon see the reason why you shouldn't be on their side." He threw the pokeball and a large pokemon appeared in front of him; Venusaur.​

Oh, no, Gold thought. He reached around his belt and didn't find any of his pokeballs. He had only just remembered that all his pokemon were gone with him having no idea where they could be.​

"Gold!" Zaron shouted. Gold looked over to the side and had to react quickly as a pokeball was being beamed at him. He caught the ball and brought it over to the side to where he stretched out his whole right arm with the pokeball clutched in his hand.​

"What pokemon is this?!" Gold shouted as he held the pokeball.​

"It's one of your pokemon! Just throw the ball so we can get out of here!" Zaron shouted.​

Gold quickly nodded and looked at the Venusaur and its hooded trainer. He gulped, thinking about the last time this pokemon had attacked him. It wasn't normal, mostly thanking the leader of the Collector's for that. His Ivysaur was the complete opposite of this thing, and so were the rest of his pokemon. He had to show that now.​

"Go, whoever!" Gold shouted. He threw the pokeball and a pokemon came out of the flashing red lights. From behind, Gold saw the bushy red and tan fur and the pokemon's soft face and bushy tail. It was Flareon.​

"This thing is a joke," growled the leader behind his hood. "It is time I annihilate you once and for all and take back all the pokemon that are rightfully mine. Venasaur, use Hyper Beam!!"​

The cold streak of fear hit Gold as he heard the words leave the man's mouth. He felt completely frozen for a second before he realized that he had to do something before this attack destroyed him for good.​

"Gold, move!!" Zaron shouted. Gold didn't look at him, but instead took Zaron's words and leapt to the side in a huge dive. Flareon leaped out of the way as well and rolled over a little. The golden beam shot across the room and went completely through the wall as if it was paper. Gold was on the ground at the side, covering his head and hoping the attack would end.​

"Ha ha ha, just goes to show what you really are, a coward," the man laughed.​

Gold slammed his fist on the ground out of frustration and stood up. "Cheap moves don't get you anywhere. Flareon, use quick attack on Venasaur!!" ​

Flareon sprinted forward and worked hard to collide into Venusaur as hard as she could, but as the fire pokemon made contact, she bounced off as if she were made of rubber and Venusaur stood as if nothing had ever happened.​

"Those moves cannot hurt my pokemon! Venusaur, use Hyper Beam again!!" shouted the man in a proud, raging voice. Once again, fear hit Gold, a fear that he never felt before. It was a fear of wondering whether he was going to make it out okay, or lie crumpled in the room like he did last time, maybe worse this time.​

Gold leapt out of the way again as the attack hit. It once again blew another hole in the wall and Gold just sat their, trying not to look at the attack as it passed by. He felt like what the man said, a coward, but how could he possibly face that attack?​

Still on the ground, Gold pointed his finger in the air. "Flareon, use tackle attack again, just make it double the power this time!!" Gold sounded intense. He needed to make it out of this alive.​

Flareon ran forward and slammed into Venusaur again, only to get bounced back once more. Gold cursed his luck and wondered how he was going to make it out as he pounded his fist on the ground.​

"Now I have you," the man mumbled under his breath. "Venasaur, use one more hyper beam and aim it straight for the boy."​

Gold watched in paralyzed fear as he watched Venusaur slowly prepare for the attack right before his eyes. It steadied itself and then boom, the attack came. Gold couldn't move at all partly from the fear and partly because he was on the ground and didn't have enough time to move. He knew this was it and prepared to get hit. He snapped his eyes shut, with the anticipation killing him.​

But the attack never hit. Instead of Gold hearing the attack hit him, he heard a new noise like something was hitting up against it, like a different power source deflecting the hyper beam.​

"Gold!" Gold heard Zaron shout. ​

Gold opened his eyes, turned around, and looked to see a furious blast of red and orange flames that was hitting up against the golden yellow attack. Flareon was right in front of Gold, standing strong on all fours and keeping up the attack as best as she could. She had leaped in front of Gold and was protecting him with an attack she had never used before.​

"Keep going, Flareon!" Gold shouted.​

"Don't let this pest beat you!! Destroy them now!" the man shouted. Venusaur slammed one of its feet hard on the ground. Gold suddenly felt extremely uneasy about what Venusaur was going to do next and could only think, Please……come through this, Flareon.​

Flareon pushed back her own body like a spring and suddenly punched herself forward, increasing her fire power. The fire blasted and went right through Venusaur and even the man. It was so powerful that it blasted both of them right out of the building, through a giant hole that the fire had made. Flareon collapsed on the ground, exhausted.​

Gold ran past Flareon, patting her for a split second before running to the giant hole on the wall. The sides were charred and looked like it was going to fall apart any second.​

Did he…, Gold thought. He looked down to where the man had fallen. Gold saw only what he needed to see. The man's Venusaur was gone and replaced by a giant bird that the man was flying away on. He had survived the fall… But why had he run away from the battle? Gold didn't really care at the moment why he had taken off because all that meant was that he had survived as well. He let out a breath of relief.​

Kono: Okay for one your personallity is a tad short for my liking ^_^;; Could I ask you to lengthen it with how you work as a team and how you act alone please? Another concern of mine is your grammar: Though I am not the best myself I'm not the worst either and you need to start using commas effectively ^_^

For example: She is very nice and trusting person who is kind to her Pokemon, but does tend to complain a lot. Marina isn't the best of workers and preferes to particapate in activities (like riding her bike) instead.When Marina loses her temper, she's like a huricane, so watch out. But she is very faithful to her friends and Pokemon. Marina loves anything that's cute or beautiful.

Also be sure to watch your spelling, I corrected a few in those few sentances there. Also I would prefere it if you could not speak to Pokemon, simply because I wan't to keep this a little out of the realms of fantasy and in the realms of reality (Yes I am aware its a Pokemon RPG, but still) I will alow the Shiny Pichu but only because I was going to alow people to have one shiny Pokemon if they wished later on. Anyways if you edit I will concider, because though I am a little strict I'm not against giving people I have never RPGed with before a chance ^_^

Pikalover: I have the same problem with your sign up as I do Ko's, Pika. Your description is a still a little short, but an acceptable length and you do tend to use full stops when not needed (but nothing major as far as I can see so far). Watch your spelling, you typo a few things

Description:
He has no qualms about the normal ranger uniform. He does, however, ware the same collar, striped with red, green, and blue, as his pokemon. His normal outfit consists of a pair of tan shorts, tan sandals (no socks), and a crimson t-shirt. He has a rather large body weighing around 250 lbs, but he is tall for his age and because of that his weight is distributed evenly enough so that he doesn't look too big. He often wares a black bandana with a white lotus pattern. You don't usually see his hair because of the bandana. It is short and silver.
Personality:
Zeph is a really lazy person when not on a mission or in a battle. He can be found, and most likely will be found, sleeping or eating most of the time. He does have a strong sense of duty though and will do almost anything asked of him by any ranger of Elite rank or higher. So long as it's within his power of course. That sense of duty also extends to the care of his pokemon too. He has a deep love for novels of the fantasy kind. Almost nothing can pull him away from a good book. Except for the next thing. He also is easily distracted by a pretty girl. This is probably the only thing that pull his attention away form a book. That and maybe an Elite Ranger calling his name.
Hopes:
The main thing he hopes for is to achieve the rank of Glider, Diver, and Forest Ranger though he knows it's pretty much impossible. So he will settle for Glider rank.
History:
The main reason Zeph wants to become a ranger is revenge. At age five his entire family (younger sister, mother and father) were kidnapped by Team Rocket. The only reason he wasn't taken was because he was at a friend's house. They were later saved by a Ranger. It was never said whether or not this was an official mission or a random act of kindness. The rocket was taken into custody and Zeph was awed by and I quote, "The Pure Awesomeness of it all." And so ever since Zeph has wanted to be a ranger for two reasons, the main being revenge against Team Rocket, and "have pure awesomeness like that guy.
Other:
Has a victory stance that he will do at the end of a winning battle or a successful mission. What he does is stands with his feet about a foot a part one in front of the other. His left hand is pulled down beneath his shoulder like he is preparing for a punch, and his left hand is straight out in front of him like a punch.

RPG Sample: Zeph was so hungry. He had never been this hungry before. He couldn't remember the last time he ate or what food tasted like. Zeph had been starving for about four weeks before today, unable to find any food in the ruins of his old neighborhood. He was on the knifes edge of starvation. Only a few more hours before he died. Then he heard voices. Too weak to do anything he just laid their, eyes open though they might as well have been closed.

"Man, are you sure this is the guy were looking for? He looks like he's half starved to death," said one guy.

"More like three-fourths starved. Come on lets get him back to the base before he keels over," said the other one.

They picked him up and carried back to the RumbleRena base. An hour later Zeph awoke to the smell of…. Something he didn't quite recognize in a small room with nothing but a small table, the bed he was in and a door, but as soon as he realized what the smell was, he shot up out of the bed he was in. Food, it was food. He saw a bowl of oatmeal on the table, and immediately began eating. When he was done with it, he saw five more bowls on another table in a corner and ran over and began scarfing down all of them. He felt like something was wrong, but couldn't put his finger on it or even find enough reason to care. I have FOOD! He thought.Half way through the third bowl though he found reason to care. Behind him the door had opened to admit nearly thirty armed soldiers. As soon as Zeph realized that, he activated his Alter power, spun around and clapped. With the use of his power he not only amplified it but shot it at ten different soldiers. All ten dropped dead from burst vital organs.

"Halt!" yelled someone still in the hall. He pushed through to the front and with all the soldiers still pointing guns at Zeph said "I want you to participate in some kind of…..game, yes that's it, a game. You will be fighting artificial Alter users. How does that sound? We will of course provide you with food and shelter."

At first Zeph was doubtful, but was remedied of that as soon as he said Zeph would have food. Food. Finally food for sure. I'll never starve again. "So all I have to do is fight some factory rejects and I'll get food?"

"Yes," said the man.

Zeph thought he might like this arrangement. After all, his father all ways used to say that a dead fake is a good fake.
