Something I always wondered about. Water puts out fire, and fire can be suffacated by rocks, but Fire can evaporate water and melt rocks... as for ground, ground can melt even more easily... wouldn't that really make fire the dominate power? Just a thought...

Don't you people read the forum descriptions? This is Webmasters Discussion. Not General Pokemon Discussion.

    Gah... x.x

If Fire had no weakness, it would be uber, and people would complain. Every type needs its weaknesses.

Heat evaporates water, not really fire. Firefighters through dirt onto fire to put it out.

But really, my first paragraph explains it. No type can be uber. Now, stop trying to think Pokémon makes sense. Just relax...

I used to think that Fire Pokemon were strong too, but playing Netbattle has taught me that Fire Pokemon aren't all that great. Flareon is the weakest Eeveelution, Entei is the weakest legendary beast, Moltres and Charizard are mediocre, and only Houndoom and Blaziken are standouts.

Plus the fact that Surf and Earthquake are two of the most common moves out there, and Fire Pokemon get owned so hard by them.
