To me...It just looks like a fanrage to masuda about not having Ruby and Sapphire remade yet. And he only replied...thank you for liking it. Continue to support us please. Masuda doesn't actually say he's doing anything with a RS remake...even speaking in the third person looks more like someone else is answering the tweets for him and just trying to walk around with the statement.
 
Everytime some news relating to a new game or an RS remake I always get high hopes but I'm not going to for this as it could well be fake, only time will tell really.. I'm just getting bored of waiting now, 2/3 years is long enough.
 
Game Freak and Nintendo would've totally considered such an idea for a very long time, if not since HG/SS came out.

They don't wanna give away too much but they're going to try stringing us along too.
 
That's true, it's obvious that the thought of an R/S remake has crossed their minds several times.. it's just a matter of weather they actually do it or are doing it, we can't confirm ANYTHING yet. It may come unexpected as HG/SS did, I'm sure nobody expected HGSS when it was first announced.
 
It's hard to be unexpected when you've started to set a precedent. It's still a coin flip as to which of their next games is announced first, though.
 
IMO it would be better if the 3rd game of B/W come first, so the R/S remakes would have newer and better features.
 
At least the fact he's "considering" it is a better lead than no news at all.
 
Yeah but nobody predicted HGSS to be revealed at that specific time, I'm sure it had been on peoples minds but nobody knew when.

This news about Masuda considering is something, a step forward really because this is actual news that we can put towards a potential RS remake instead of hints, I'm sure we'll hear more by December.

Maybe we will hear news in Corocoro in any time right now, it's possible since they are going to make the 3rd game and the R/S remakes in 2012.
 
Well Corocoro is coming up any day now, we may have some RS Remake related news.. lets hope so anyway. The fact Masuda said "Considering" could be an easy cover, for example they could have been working on RS remakes for months now but are just saying that for when they actually do announce an RS remake, it will be unexpected.. like I said I'm sure we'll hear more pretty soon!
 
This is exciting news from Masuda, however, it's not enough to completely confirm the remakes. I'm sure they are in progress as we speak, though.
 
Honestly, I've been hyped for a RS remake for over 2 years now and every "New Informtation" I jump to the conclusion that it's an RS remake but we just can't say anything right now... have they even started to develop them, are they in the middle of it etc.
Winter 2012 would be a reasonable date for it's release.. priror to that would come the revelation in mid 2012, that's all just speculation though.

I think they are actually at the end of development, I think they started making it before 3 years, like HG/SS they started making it since D/P came out.
They already knew that many old fans would buy it, I'm guessing it would make more money than HG/SS.

That was my initial thought, but then I wasn't sure because of BW the fact that they would have to develop 2 whole games would be difficult unless they can prioritize or whatever, I'm not completely sure but I do have a feeling it's being developed and has been for some time.

I definately think it would make more than HGSS for some reason.. I think fans are more excited and anticipated for RS remakes than they were for HGSS.. I know for sure I am!

They've definitely been juggling production of at least two projects at once for a while.

The ground work on BW began after Diamond and Pearl was finished.

The initial designing phases of Black and White would have taken some time to get to a point where the team can actually begin drawing graphics, programming the engine and creating maps, which gives them plenty of time to work on Platinum as well as getting started with designing HG/SS. Making Platinum wouldn't have taken them two whole years so it's likely they were focusing most on Platinum and then HGSS during that time. Once Platinum is out, work is on finishing off HG/SS for next year while simultaneously getting stuck into developing BW - it's likely the HG/SS engine is based upon things they were developing for BW.

Right now it's very likely they've been working with new hardware and designing the RS remake and the third Unova game at the same time. One of the two will be in the middle of actively being developed as we speak.

That's true, I think if any it's going to be the RS remakes and they will be mainly concentraded on that currently as the third game will share the same designs, maps, sprites etc. as BW so that's basically complete it just needs some enhancements thus why they take nowhere near as long to develop as remakes do, that's why they will probally be working on a remake right now. The Third Game will be kinda rushed and the remake will take time.
 
I think that an emerald remake could make more sense then two games. Emerald has a totally different story line than rs and I don't see how they could fuse that into two very different games. I would like to see you be able to go go Kanto of johto in the remake or do a sevvii island type thing. I previously suggested the orange islands they would never do that. Definetly add Red and/ or Gold into the game as a final showdown type thing. Maybe Blue and Silver to.
