Has the anime ruined any of your favorite Pokemon? One of my favorite Pokemon is Quilava, and IMO, the animators and whoever else makes the anime absolutely butchered it. How about Pokemon like Golem, Machamp, Gengar, and Alakazam? They're supposed to be super strong, yet every time they appear in the anime they get owned (First movie, Squirtle beats Machamp with Bubble and Pikachu fries a Golem with Thunderbolt..Gary's Nidoking beats Giovanni's Golem with Tackle..stuff like that). What Pokemon has the anime ruined for you?

    Misdreavus

I hate the way they changed how they used to say it's name now they say it like this: Mistrevus

instead of saying it like this: Misdreavus

yea, they do, I'm very pissed off about the Misdreavus thing

Butterfree ruined the anime debut of pokemon for me. Don't get me wrong, Butterfree is my fav. pokemon, and I loved it in the anime...

    But come on... Bee-free? >_>

Yeah, I thought that was odd it was too lazy to say it's own name. O_o

Staravia. I hate the way it sounds and they dont really make Roserade as awesome as it should be.

While most legendary Pokemon get a power upgrade for no reason at all, the Golem trio were very depowered, almost to the point where their legendary status meant nothing.

I can't stand Butterfree in the anime. In Pokemon Yellow, it was usually one of my most trusted fighters. But the anime ruined it for me. I can't watch any episodes with Butterfree in it because I can't stand the "Freeeeeee! Freee eh eheeeee!" It's horrible.

The anime also ruined one of my favorite Pokemon, Onix. One thing is for sure, I love that Onix just roars, and doesn't say it's name. That would be ridiculous. Imagine, "Ooooniiixxxx!" That's like..."Chaaarizaaarrddddd!" That would sound terrible. It's just that Onix gets defeated by the weakest of moves and Pokemon every time I see it in the anime.

Quilava is one of my favs as well. I just felt like IMO they played quilava off as weak. I feel like they could have made it seem a bit stronger since it's a mid evo. Compared to the ones I've seen in the anime, Ash's cyndaquil seemed stronger. Not saying that a first form couldn't be stronger than a second just using an example.

Luxray. it has the dopiest voice but looks so awsome. I'm afraid to hear what staraptor sounds like after hearing starly and staravia

In my opinion all the pokemon I like a lot...beautifly, mothim, glaceon, sceptile, ambipom, chicmhar, and quite a bit more they've done excellent with...lol...so for me I have little problems...

The anime did ruin my love for Dustox and Muk. Muk is not as neat as I would like to thin it was and it just flops over Oak like nasty.

any pokemon team rocket has. seeing as they all suck. it makes me wonder if they're worth the time to train

    I wouldn't say ruined but..Ralts-Kirlia-Gardevoir line.

They're better then most fanart,but..They seem alittle weird.

Dub voices are usually horrible. Sometimes the Japanese Pokemon don't really say their name but the dub voices will usually make them say their whole name over and over in a stupid voice. Here's a list of the main character's Pokemon and whether they keep their Japanese voice or get a new voice for the dub ~

    Pikachu - Japanese
    Starly/Staravia - dub
    Turtwig - dub
    Buizel - Japanese
    Gligar - Japanese
    Gliscor - dub
    Chimchar - dub

    Piplup - dub
    Pachirisu - Japanese
    Aipom - Japanese
Ambipom - dub (keeps some of the squeaking from Japanese)
    Buneary - dub

    Sudowoodo - dub
Pinkupu (I actually can't remember it's English name at the mo) - dub
    Croagunk - dub

The best voices are usually Japanese, although Croagunk's is quite good for dub and Wobbuffet's is really good. Chimchar's is also really good, it keeps the cuteness in it's voice

Pokemon that sound exactly like Ash in the dub - Roserade, Mismagius and Budew. But she also voices the Starly line ad Buneary.

I'm afraid to hear what staraptor sounds like after hearing starly and staravia

Staraptor's voice is much worse than the opera singing birds :/ Although I like Staravia's voice

Anyway, I think that Pachirisu looks BETTER in the anime. In the games, it looks ugly, but the anime makes it look really cute.

For me I have NOT one probelm with the DUb voices of any pokemon or character EXCEPT on Gary's umbreon...I liked it the way it originally was...

and I agree Pachirisu is SO much cuter in the anime...lol

Staryu And Starmie what the hell was going on with them it sounded like they were practicing martial arts (hyaa) and I hated Mr.Mime more than ever his voice was horrible and he was like a slave for ashes mum if I remember correctly.
