Are you ever going to provide a rom that does not need that specific emulator? I have a mac and can only use the emulators provided through openemu

Hi, sorry for the late reply, Its not the ROM that needs that specific emulator, but rather that some emulators especially android ones have trouble running the initial script of the game,I just provided the one that would def work. You can go ahead andtry it on the emulators in Mac, if they work properly then do tell me and i'll update the thread recommending that.

I'm sorry, but no.
the hack is under huge overhaul and would take quite a long while before updates roll in.
I'm also working on another project side by side, which would get a release prior to SB.
so I hope you'll check it out.

It is.
but its under huge overhaul since, there are a lot of things as a creator's POV that I found extremely lacking and I won't be much interested in continuing story until I fix those things in the ROM.

Therefore, there hasn't been much updates lately.

So I'm finally getting around to playing this! :D;;

Er... I understand the names are fixed, but is there no way to at least make the dialogue gender-specific? Being told "So your name is Crimson/Scarlet? Son/Daughter of Red? I see." is a bit bemusing when the character is definitely male (or female).

Oddly enough, I experience the "freeze in room after opening dialogue" glitch on VBA-M, but VBA works.

In-game clock is a very nice touch.

Flame Body is hilarious in the first rival battle.

Graphics are positively incredible! Very nice! (I know it's a tileset, but this is the first one I've played using that tileset...)

Really like the change to Mt. Moon to not be so... Zubat-oriented. Oddish is my MVP.

If the Mantine in Misty's Gym was meant to scare off Grass-types, it really should have had Wing Attack.

There is something distinctly off about the Police Academy Event: it nicknames the last Pokemon in your party, rather than the Growlithe specifically.

The new missions are fun diversions. After replaying vanilla Kanto so many times, an original plot in the same setting is a nice change.

MR. NIDO the traded L19 Nidorino have Moon Stone for it; need to look up natural moveset
Gamebuster the L16 Kadabra just evolved, has seen little use
Spyro the L26 Quilava starter, early MVP - Flame Body is absurd
Geo the L26 Graveler Rock/Ground OP, plz don't nerf
Oddly the L29 Gloom really, really powerful due to sleep; is Oddish line ALWAYS this ludicrous?

I'm surprised at Gloom's power - I don't play much Gen 3, so it may always be this impressive and I'm just oblivious. I lock down with Sleep Powder and wear down most anything. For the things where that doesn't work, Graveler can usually handle the threat with little problem. Being able to hit both Rock and Ground weaknesses is surprisingly valuable in the early game.

Beyond the end of currently-available content, if Gym types remain unchanged, Erika can be handled by Quilava, Koga by Kadabra and Graveler, Sabrina and Blaine by Gyarados, and Giovanni by Gloom, Kadabra, and Gyarados. Nidoking should be able to handle the rest, including anti-Agatha offense.

Don't think I'm missing anything. Lance's Dragons are going to be a pain, but Gyarados could handle anti-Dragon offense if I can get my hands on the right TMs...

The graphics are fantastic, the gameplay is fun, and it's easy to build an early strong team. :) Fun hack.
