Hack of: Fire Red

Story: A brand new story in Johto.
There is a strange feeling in the air about the evolution of the region.
Destruction.
That is what you must stop.
The fate lies in the world.

The reason the story part is soo small is cuz i'm planning still. This will be different to a GSC remake.

I might change this to Emerald cuz of the PokeNav. The only problem would be the PET...

Any suggestions for the rombase?

I personally use FireRed.
But they are the same engine with Ruby Saphire and Leaf Green.
Also Emerald is not flexible like the others,it is harder to hack.
as i said before prove me wrong ,that this is not a noobish idea and hack

New Bark map

Yeah. I've started using Fire Red and made the first map.
Remember that it's only basic as I need to re-shuffle for events.

The cave is to get into route 29 (silence forest)

I think Fire Red would be better to use in my opinion. But if you save/backup a lot and want a more challenging rom, then pick Emerald. It's up to you, anyway...

FIRE RED IS SO EASY, so is ruby.
and i do recommend fire red some what.
it has almost 50 less different sprites
than emerald.
but i am using emerald myself, i'm waiting for juan to finish his fix on Trainer Edit[or]

i love it, nice graphics. easy to hack. stable.

I would use Emerald but i'll use Fr and use some graphics from emerald and use some scripts like the groudon and kyogre or regis. something...

Look back at my last post, a basic copy of my map. Once I have done events, i will re- map to work and show you.

Personally I would use Emerald if you're aiming big. But if this is just a little hobby that you enjoy doing, go for FireRed.

I'm gonna just think about which rom...

I'll map the beta 1 then if I wanna make it in emerald, i'll just...re-map for graphics and events.

Reasons for FR: Stable, Easier, lot of space

Reasons for Emerald: PokeNav, Easier Professor events.

I'm gonna close the thread until i get a bit further ( keep you wondering what's gonna happen).

I'll re-open in 14 days after I close it.

I'm gonna allow you to say ideas here for the next week.
