She was good then, in RBY and the beginning of GSC. But I like Satoshi Yamamoto's style better.

I though Blue looked older for her age in RBY. Red looked younger than he was, and so did Green.
 
yeah red and green look like 5 year old but remenber that from the original 3 blue is the oldest and green the youngest
 
I do like Mato's style... but aren't volumes 8 and 9 done by someone else? They only didn't change the name on the cover. The style there is really different. (Read: fugly).
I was afraid it would stay that way, but luckily after volume 9 it was as good as ever ^^ (or even better) Satoshi Yamamoto is especially good in emotional scenes and dramatic things (the one where Red has low spirits is beautiful!) Only complaint... professor Oak and Giovanni :/

How do you think the characters that appeared after volume 9 would look like if Mato was still the illustrator?
They'd look little.

I like their new style. (although..........I miss little adorable Mato-style Yellow)

On topic: Poor Silver. He has so many yaoi pairings that it's scary.

Today is the day I'm going to attempt to draw Wataru-san! His hair will be a challenge, there is no doubt... And I'm not too great at drawing capes...

I'm just like Masachi I thought Mato was male too. It seems like I'm always late to talk about the good stuff like boobs. XD
