Someone should add more PokeSpe ships to Bulbapedia...
 
What, "Masa"? Hey, my nick (Pika) is the ship for AshXPikachu, so you shouldn't be complaining XD At least your nick is the ship for a human/human couple (unless you count Bill as a Pokemon, which he has been sometimes).

Green: Some science-y nonfiction
Blue: A romance series, like Twilight
Yellow: A cute kid book, which she would read out loud to her Pokemon

Gold: A book girls would like, so he can find another way to flirt with them
Silver: Silver's too cool to read XD
Crys: She'd be reading Pokemon Special XD

Ruby: He would probably read a romance novel, and comment on all the beautiful things in there
Sapphy: Nonfiction wildlife/nature books
Emerald: Books on how to grow XD Or control temper XD

Dia: Cookbooks with simple recipes
Pearl: Joke books
Platina: Any book that catches her eye XD

Yes, Brock is Takeshi. I really don't prefer the anime names xD I don't care for the anime at all, actually. Not since Gary got out of the picture ;_;

I don't think they translate the protagonists' names... I think they're English from the beginning? I can totally hear Yerro call out for Gurinu in the imagined anime in my head...... (why Yellow and why Green? I don't know xD )

OK, say 4Kids DID dub PokeSpecial (we'd all go out and kill them, right?). And they decided, rather than keeping the names of the characters (don't see why, but 4Kids will do that sometimes), they give the characters their own names. What names would they give the characters?

Green: Jared. I don't know why, it just fits...
Blue: Rebecca! xD It's the name of the literary incarnation of myself (Rebecca Aquaria Holon.)
Yellow: Something gender-neutral...like...oh, I don't know. Sammy. Or maybe Taylor. Yeah, defnintely Taylor.
Gold: I would say Hiro, but 4Kids probably wouldn't go for a Japanese-sounding name, so...maybe...Alan? -shot-
Silver: I really don't know. Silver is just such a perfect name for him, I can't imagine anything else.
Crystal: Would stay Crystal, since it's an actual name that people have.
Dia: Lucas! xD It helps to have a default name that hasn't been used in the anime.
Pearl: Damion. See above. Though what will Jun's anime dub name be...?
Platina: She'd most likely keep her last name Berlitz...but her first name might be changed to...say...Elizabeth or something equally classy.

Green: Michael
Blue: Candy
Yellow: Chris (short for Christina, though when nobody knows she's a boy with the few exceptions, they think it's short for Christopher)

Gold: Ron
Silver: Gray
Crys: Celia

Ruby: Colin
Sapphy: Gale (yeah, yeah)
Emerald: "Spaz" (no one knows his real name XD)

Dia: Luke
Pearl: Andy
Platina: Corina (kinda snotty, if you ask me; I actually do love the name Corina...)
