Yeah, it would seem they are trying to incorporate ideas from spinoff regions. If this means we'll be seeing concepts from Colosseum/XD, I will be a VERY happy Cherrim. :D
 
nah i don't think so at this poit if there hasen't been any there won't be any they only did the hold styler thing because the new ranger game coliseum and XD ARE OLD

I predict that the Deoxys/Manaphy will play a big role later on. When the Deoxys (Entity Two?) at the Sevii Islands left Vermillion City and flew towards Sinnoh to find its brother (Entity One, I think). In the Ranger Special manga I believe Fiore witnessed Entity One, which fled as well. The end of the manga gives a foreshadowing on the Manaphy egg and Sinnoh. Plus the Entity Two Deoxys from Kanto.

There's a Ranger Special manga? I never knew that. I need to read that. Now. Is it by the same writer/artist?
 
i think is a downgrade seraph ranger's manga is boring and kind of lame like the game
 
Since I never played any Pokemon Ranger video games I can say that I do not know how much about them, but I did read the Pokemon Ranger Batonnage comic, but I did not read the first one though. I was told that the Pokemon Ranger Comics were written by the same people who wrote Pokemon Special is that true and can you all provide me a source please.

well the have the same artist that much is know about the writer i don't know but most lickly yes he has done a great job on special why not give him batonage too
 
PokeSpe was always kinda close to the game plot... So they'll bring the things that happen in the game into the manga for sure.

Can we please stop the bashing of any form? Whether it be pairings/games/characters/anything... It's turning me off from even coming here. The fanclub's not anyone's personal blog, so keep your strong dislikes to yourself please.

That being said, I really liked the Ranger manga and the games, even when they had nothing to do with the rest of the Dex holders. I really hope they get to meet each other in a future arc or something :D

Winter holidays are over. The PokeSpe characters are back in school. What would they tell their friends about their holidays?
Red: About all the battles he won. -_- What else.
Green: About all the boring books he had read... And he don't tell about what happened with him and Blue under the mistletoe...
Blue: But she tells what happened with her and Green under the mistletoe. :D
Yellow: About ChuChu's new egg. :3
Gold: He'd tell about all the girls he kissed.... LIAR!
Silver: About the present he got from his Daddy.~ (Aww...)
Crystal: Her newest Pokemon. -.-;
Ruby: That he told Sapphire not to eat the yellow snow. xD
Sapphire: That she did not eat the yellow snow...

Red: Talking is not his thing - the only language he speaks is the language of battling~! Or the language of love (No. Definitely not that one. XD)
Green: Gym. School work. Papers. And how annoyinggly gorgeous Blue is. (The crossed thing is only in his mind, of course. Not that he ever would say it out loud... although, perhaps when there's enough booze around... -gets a brilliant idea-)
Blue: "Look at me~!" She talks about herself. And her new hair cut. And outfit. And boys that were into her. (When Green's in the audience. Anyting to get the man jealous.)
Yellow: The fun things she has done with her friends and ChuChu. And her new drawings. (Still not a very good artist...)
Gold: Slightly (read: grossly) exaggerated story about him, two ladies, and a snow cabin in the Alps. (He didn't even leave town.)
Silver: Nothing. (Some things are better left unsaid..)
Crystal: "I got this much new Pokemon! I won this battle! I was best at throwing snow balls! And at making snow men! And at baking cakes! And at..." -goes on-
Ruby: Oh man, the fabulous things he's done in the holidays.... you would need a month for it. (Trip to NY Fashion Week to show off his Nana and Coco in glittering pink & purple suits).
Sapphire: She wonders if it is OK to say that, despite the cold, she still wore her leaf outfit? Day and night? In a cave? ... Perhaps not.
Wally: "OMG, OMG, I got a cake with Christmas at the hospital!!!! With a cherry on it too!!!!" *still relishes the memory*
Emerald: Doesn't want to talk about the holidays, and gets watery eyes when Christmas is mentioned. (He still isn't over the fact that he didn't get new ultra-high plateau shoes).

Anyway, I want winter holidays back...TT.TT

Winter holidays are over. The PokeSpe characters are back in school. What would they tell their friends about their holidays?
Red: He'd say that he had fun battling people.
Green: He just spent the holidays reading books and working at the gym.
Blue: She is talking about the gifts she got from her parents on Christmas. :3
Yellow: She talks about how much she improved on her sketches.
Gold: Doesn't really remember, since he slept most of the time.
Silver: He got tons of presents from his dad~
Crystal: She mostly worked at the lab.
Ruby: Bragging about all the cute winter outfits he made.
Sapphire: Bragging about how many times she hit Ruby with snowballs.
Emerald: Just keeping to himself, thinking about how to look taller.
Diamond: Still gushing over how much yummy food he ate.
Pearl: Complaining that he and Diamond did not work on many Manzai jokes.
Platinum: Spent most of the time practicing battling and watching Diamond and Pearl.
 
Heh, I actually really like the Rangers (in all forms, comic included), but I wasn't sure if it would count for the club. I'm glad that I'm not the only one who saw a slight connection between Emerald's gun and the Ranger's styler. =)

It would be very interesting if Colosseum aspects were brought in. Because the most noticeable aspect is snagging. I know there's a comic form out there, but it's really hard to find. I've only seen bits and pieces of it, but it would be neat to see.

I love the spin-offs. <3

Green:he is going to deny ever being defeated by Red he is to proud
Blue:about the stuff she bought and made Green buy her
Yellow:the time she spent with Red and her pokemons
Gold:about how many numbers he got from girls (even if there fake)
Silver:about how many gift he got for his birthday/christmas day
Crystal:the new kind of pokemon she caught
Ruby:the new winter fashion he was trying to make Sapphy to wear
Sapphire: playing in the snow with Ruby and running when he got sissy clothes for her
Emerald:the new ski extensions the trick m aster put in his platform shoes
Diamond:old the food he ate and all he was baking
Pearl:his new winter manzai routine
Platina:all the training she did with Red (losing to him is training) and Dia and Pearl's manzai routine
 
Red: Saying he beat 30 trainers in a row... again. -_-
Green: Hating Red not saying that he kissed Blue
Blue: Says that Green kissed her
Yellow: Catching, yet another, Pikachu.
Gold: He never came.
Silver: Taking over Team Rocket for 2 weeks!
Crystal: Catching 1 more pokemon.
Ruby: Bragging about all the cute outfits he made.
Sapphire: Bragging about how many times she used the outfits for warmth, thanks to Blaziken's fire!
Emerald: He is in shock that Dedede (Santa's equivalent in Kirby games) never made him taller, the opposite!!!
Diamond: Eating food, so he never came as well.
Pearl: Said another hundred terrible jokes!
Platinum: Reading Nintendo Power... all 237 volumes (as to this date) and she got 100 PokeDollars for each issue.

Oh~! I read most of that manga at one point. I thought the style looked strangely familiar. The eyes, the way the Pokemon are drawn... o__O So it really is the same people who illustrated PokeSupe, then? 8D I was right~

Silver: He'd probably talk about his dad. In a good way this time.~ :3
Crys: She would rant on and on about all the new capturing techniques and Pokemon that she caught over the holiday. (Does she ever take a break? O_o)

Ruby: All the beautiful new clothes that he made for his Pokeymahnz, and how he was victorious in getting Sapphire to wear the Christmas eve dress that he made.
Sapphire: Her New Year's resolutions: How she will never let Ruby make her wear another dress again(although, I doubt that would happen)...
Emerald: How he hopes to grow taller in the new year. XD

Dia: FOOD. 8D What else, hm~?
Pearl: How many times he got to smack Dia in the holidays I'm not sure.
Platina: The new limousine(s) she got for Christmas.

My head is still sorta empty... It's only Tuesday. I think.

There's nothing wrong with the Ranger manga, it's a nice break from the Special, and it has the same qualities since it's the same people doing it.

I just finished the Batonnage manga, it was good. If short. And while I don't see an inter-canon crossover happening any time soon, I think this is an interesting step towards bringing the spin-off concepts closer to the main Pokemon ideas...bridging the gap, you might say...fleshing out the Pokemon world. I like it.

Ice is even smexier as a drawing. :3
