I loved Crystal's Xatee, it's so cool! Xatu has been my favourite Psychic/Flying Pokemon since the G/S/C era <3 Plus I have a strange bias towards Crystal lol!♥

I don't have a single favorite Pokemon at the moment. D8 I'll just choose three of 'em like Peaches and DG.

Phanpy: I think Emerald uses one in the Battle Frontier at one point, but that's it. >.> It had a really minor appearance.
Gengar: Agatha's Gengar is made of pure freakish-ghostly-coffin-creating win. 8D
Yanmega: Nope. >: Aaron of the Sinnoh League has one, but I think he has yet to appear in PokeSpe...

So two of my three favorite Pokemon have appeared in the manga, only one of 'em had a major-ish role in the story, and the third one hasn't shown up at all. xD;

Snorlax:Red has one and even Emerald because it's awesome it even battle a Machamp and won one and lost one the battle is at 1 each
Espeon:because he is cooler then Umbreon that is so dark it can be emo sometimes no hard feelings and Red has one so cool
Charizard:i love fire types and the first Fire type is awesome and Green has one super cool
Pikachu:Because it ca use volt takle and looks cool with Red's hat Pika is awesome =D

Ah. I feel the same as those who find the D/P ending a disappointment /: The 'Dialga and Palkia attack Cyrus and send him away somewhere.' kind of reminds me how Team Rocket from the anime always gets blasted off elsewhere lol. Any chance he might make an appearance again? I mean, Lance also got blasted off somewhere by Yellow at the end of the Yellow series, to which he made a reappearance at the following GSC saga. -shrugs-

Anyway I've been kind of meh about the D/P saga, so I'm pretty happy it has wrapped up to make way for the HGSS arc :D Yeah I'm biased.

The Pokemon company is the original creator of all contents regarding Pokemon. Now we are announcing a new series of the RPG "Pocket Monster", which will be on the NDS and released sometime in 2010.

Starting from the first game in the series, "Pocket Monster Red/Green" in 1996. The world view of Pokemon and features such as trading and battling between different versions had been highly praised by users all over the world. Cumulative global sales of the games are currently above 130 million units.

The Pocket Monster series for the NDS have incorporated the touch screen, Wi-Fi connection, and other features of the console. The new game in development is a completely different game to the "Pocket Monster Diamond/Pearl" 4 years previously, which sold 17.15 million units worldwide. New play experiences and new Pokemon will be added, and it is planned to be a revolutionary comeback.

Please look forward to new information released from now on.

What's confirmed: Gen 5 and NDS platform, planned release in 2010.

Idk if I actually want Kusaka to make an arc on this, given how much older Red, Blue and Green would've become and I'm not exactly ready to let them 'retire' yet /: Other than that new pokemon sound pretty exciting but I get a crowded feeling at the same time. Why can't they just create different regions/plots/legendaries instead?

I don't think the DP arc is over yet. Don't forget, in the RS arc, we thought it was over when Ruby stopped Groudon and Kyogre, but it wasn't as Maxie and Archie were still around for one last epic battle. I think Coronis mentioned that DP will finish up in the volumes.

Oh gawd a new generation. ;~; I have.. mixed feelings on this. Both in general and PokeSpe specifically. Having new characters is nice, and having Pokemon Special continuing is nice as well. HOWEVER, eventually characters are going to have to drop out or something. I mean, what's eventually going to happen to Red, Blue, and Green? They can continue being around, but what about like, having a relationship and everything? Unless they start making pairings canon, they're going to be 30 and still be alone. D: I'd rather have the manga end before they get too old.

Though if the creators are willing to start officially pairing people together, then that's fine, people would just have to live with their decision, huh. Then maybe some of the future characters could actually become the second generation or something. IDK.

And in general... more Pokemon? I'm having trouble remembering 493 pokemon half the time. @_@; At least many of the sinnoh Pokemon. Not to mention I keept forgetting that certain pokemon are from a different region than the region they came in. Let's take some of Johto's Pokemon for example...

Oh yeah. For the Platinum arc, don't forget, the reason she's going so fast is because she's only going through 21 battles, or 3 sets. She only has the silver print. She's hasn't really conquered the Frontier like Emerald, who went straight for the gold and went through all 10 sets (70 battles!) at once.

On the topic of next Gen characters and what about the old ones. I had a perfect Idea for that. Red could totally be the President of the Pokemon Association. I mean he'd still be a big part of the story climaxes, he'd be Green's Boss's Boss (which would be LOL-worthy, and he could settle down and have kids. Will it be with Yellow or Misty though... Hmmm...

So many games have come out they need to age them less to keep them as young as possible. The anime's system of not aging the group has it's advantages after all.

My all time favorite is Charizard. Charmander was the very first Pokemon I chose when I got Pokemon Red and my Game Boy Color (Kiwi) all those centuries ago and I've loved them since. 8D

My number one favourite Pokémon has always been and will always be Charmander (ever since that tear-jerking episode in the anime :') - and oh lucky me, it became the Pokémon of my favourite character in the manga, haha.
Of course, it did evolve pretty quickly, so not a lot of pages featuring Charmander... still, as a Charizard it's epic as well. More epic, perhaps. :3

And no, it's nothing than a coincidence that Green also caught my second favourite Pokémon: Ninetales. I just love Fire types, 's all :D
