It's not mine, but ironically enough, Ruby and Sapphire look better in the platinum outfits than Diamond and Platina do. Ruby has a good sense of fashion.

Yes, Red and Green as Swordsmen.
Blue could be a witch of some sort, or even elf, and Yellow could be her apprentice (I always find the Blue and Yellow relationship as "teacher/assistant", etc.).
Gold as thief? How ironic. I find him as a demon of some kind, but a funny stupid one.
Silver as an expert marksman, which kinda does relate to assasin, yeah.
Crystal as some sort of Librarian...like an Oracle or something...
Hehe, I see Ruby as a merchant selling clothes and accesories.
Sapphire could be those perfect warrior female protagonists.
