Pokemon Special and the anime are complete seperate canon that have nothing to do with each other but Pokemon Special and the games are a different story because the games are based off of them. So I do not see why Kotone's appearance in the anime is being mentioned here. Though I will say that the episode with Kotone in it has not aired as of yet.

I am looking foward to seeing Jotho dex holders make their HGSS debut in new clothing although I would not be surprise if the writers would totally make the characters in HGSS the alternate universe selves in a world created by the combined powers of Dialga and Palkia. I know sounds disappointing but we have to expect anything from the writers and with the naming pattern in the game such as the rival default names being 'Heart' and 'Soul' instead of 'Gold' and 'Silver' depending on which versions is being played, though in Pokemon Crystal version is was displayed as 'Silver' just like in Pokemon Gold so the name 'Silver' was perceived to be the rivals name in those games based on that pattern. The protagonist on the other hand in HGSS acutally have names which are Hibiki and Kotone unlike the male protagonist in GSC and the female protagonist in the Pokemon Crystal versions whose name were perceived to be named after version which was based on naming pattern in those games and the fact that the names 'Gold' and 'Kris' and the fact that the character were also referred to such in North America though I am hoping that the alternate universe idea does not happen though.

It looks like Lance does team up with the player in a double batte in the game meaning that their could be a possiblity that make an appearance in the HGSS arc.

This will be the third time that Green gets a new set of clothes and you notice that he seems to get more outfits changes to Red. Though that probably because Green's game counterpart is mostly getting new outfits while Red's game counterpart does not unless you count that time in Super Smash Brothers Brawl where they shown alternate colors of Red's counterpart FRLG outfit but I really do not know how much Gamefreak was involved making those games since it is Gamefreak that develops the main Pokemon games while Nintendo publishes them.

Anyway I read the chapter about Skuny and I have to say that was okay, but I really did not like that part where they got attack by the Skunky spray although it was a okay chapter. I liked when Diamond and Pearl cites their Manzais though.

WHY. WHY. WHY are the graphics in HG/SS so far so FREAKING AMAZING!? I mean, seriously, gyms and caves and graphics are just...Blowing my mind. Oh, speaking of graphics, yeah, the sprites were majorly changed. Since I seem to have even more issues with that...

I did saw somthing on that page next to link of the Meganium but it seems like it was saying that the HGSS games coming out this month and mentioned something about FRLG and comparing it or something like that. I think that was some words about something related to the arc as well. Though I do not think there was nothing said about the plot itself though and the words were translated very poorly.

It seems like you are very excited. Though that is good news and I sure since he has a lot of support from the readers that probably gave him confronted start working on the arc right away. I hope the HGSS arc begins next month.

Since the Sinnoh Frontier Brains appeared in the HGSS games. It is a possibility they might make an appearance in the arc as well.

Well, I remember in my LeafGreen game, that when I chose Charmander, he chose Squirtle. A tad lengthy, but when your rival picks a certain starter, that's how his team is determined (ex. Blastoise, Pidgeot, Arcanine, Exegutor, Alakazam, and sixth pokemon whose name escapes me right now).

:/ He was only a clown in Special. In the games he wore just the mask. And it's Tuxedo MASK, or Kamen if you wish to be more specific. Tuxedo Man reminds me of some episode in The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy when Billy said he was Tuxedo Man and proceeded to soil his tuxedo in the mud. Yeah.

Hello everyone! Been busy with school work so I haven't been able to go online for the past few days. (still have a mountain load of HW but I've got 3 days ^^). Ok... this was the first thing I noticed and absolutely loved! My jaw literally dropped when I saw how beautiful it all looked and it made me want to rush to my nearest airport and fly to japan simply to bask in those amazing images. My favorite thing though has to be the new sprites, they're beyond epic win!

Sabrina definitely looks weird in her gym badge case sprite. I can't tell if that's a man or woman. o_O But she looks alright in her other sprite and VS. sprite.

Not necessarily, just the jacket, which most people don't like for some reason. :/ Red has no change, unfortunately. Though I do hope Green still wears that black shirt and...lol purple pants (didn't bother me before lol).

Beats the clown costume. He definitely looked like an idiot when I saw him in Pokespecial (honestly). I hope his character changes too.

I really liked his new Sugimori art for FRLG. I hoped they'd model Lance after him :( But it's time to see what the artists will do for Lance in PokeSpe. XDD

Personally, most of the HGSS sprites bug me for one reason or another. The environment graphics are gorgeous, but the character revamps...meh. Especially not fond of Sabrina. Hopefully Yamamoto-sensei will still be able to make them all look awesome?

I like both the old and new sprites. I love the new sprites for most of Johto's leaders except for Clair. Her sprite is rather...offsetting for some reason. With Kanto's leaders I have a high dislike for Sabrina's new sprite. She just doesn't look right and her hair. *Shrudders.* I'm also upset with Misty and Green's sprites. Other than that, the new ones are love.

The only sprite that I really don't like would have to be Misty's. I dunnow, it just looked weird to me. xD; Sabrina's is kind of eh, but -shrugs-. Other than that, NEW OUTFITS PLZ. Honestly? Even Green. If anyone recalls, Green is really been known to change his outfit every. single. arc (except Emerald, but he was petrified so it's not like he was able to. XD; ) , so it's nothing new that he'll be changing outfit again. As for Red, it looks like me may be sticking with the old one, maybe the artists will stick something new on it, like what they did in the Yellow Arc, because, like Green, he changed something every single arc. So, because of this, yes. I do hope that Green wears those clothing, as I honestly do like them. It's a nice change from him wearing purple all the time. And he's had a Exeggutor. In the manga, he got it in the GSC arc, and it's part of his Gym Team.

As for Pokemon, Green's and Red's team has changed. This makes me wonder if the arc is going to correspond to that, and give Red a Lapras, and Green a Tyranitar. (If Red gets a Lapras, then the image I have of him with one would make a little more sense. XD; )

Also... If they put in the Kanto Gym members, I'm going to die laughing if Lt. Surge ends up having that Pachirisu that he has in his rematch. XD; I would love to see more of the Johto Gym Leaders, though.
