Yeah, it's always looked too pink-- and in the anime... AUGH! The fanartists make his hair BUBBLEGUM PINK WHAT?

*coughs* ... The thought of Yellow playing a DS (why is it not a YELLOW DS?) and probably playing HGSS on it is paradoxically amusing. *grins*

YES. THAT BUBBLEGUM PINK. I CRY EVERYTIME I SEE IT. But then again, I cry everytime I think of Lance in the anime... HE'S JUST SO MUCH COOLER IN THE MANGA IT'S SAD.

That said, I clearly prefer the manga lance over all and I await his arrival in the manga soon.

Sadly, I can't compare manga!Lance to anime!Lance because I haven't seen the episodes he's in. *sadface*

i don't think lance will play a good part in HG SS if he didn't play anything good in the original GSC why use him in this we only need Redsan and the others and the Manga will be a Hit thanks that Red is the number one character in special
 
But this is also the GSC arc....
Either way, Team rocket, Silver, Gold are confirmed to be invovled through the preview art for it. (( no word on Kotone yet though.. Or Red))
We can assume though that it may go into more depth about Sird and how she managed to turn them into stone...
Which may lead us into Generation 5.

Very true ^^ I also think that Lance's hair has gotten shorter with the newer games *likes him long pointy hair of awesome*

Haha. I saw that picture on mangafox. I love Gold's new clothes (the goggles! and his puffy pants! XD) and Silver is wearing the skinny jeans lol. So not Silver, but hey, still cool. And the hair isn't bad... *thinks of what could have been* Yeah, it's better than that. XD They still left the whole Kotone/Kris thing up though XD.

Actually I think that's Athena and Apollo. They are part of the set of four Rocket Executives that went unnamed in GSC and now have been given proper titles in HGSS.

Anywho, a little off topic but my first Chuang Yi-translated volume (Volume 3) came in today! I'm just starting to read PokeSpe and I had bought the first two by VizKids only to find out how much they censor and edit it. It's a completely fresh new copy and I'm definitely loving it! Can't wait to buy the next ones!

Looks like they left that up in the air. Let's hope kotone is new and not a Crystal make over in the manga. I doubt because they don't even pass for one another.

P.S. It's coming out int eh April VOLUME so it will actually be out in March. And according to rumors, a preview will bein the issue that goes out january 25.
 
i hope Kotone dosen't appear and Become Kris.Kasuka name the female sprite of his SS Kris so no Kotone JAJAJAJAJAJAJA Kris is cooler because she is the 7th Dex Holder

And if they turn Lance's hair pink (specially like the anime Lance, who's too kind and retarded), then i'll hunt his artist down, get him teach me al his skills, then kill him and draw Lance properly again. Can't have them ruining the coolest guy in the manga

...since I was ninja posted, I trust they will make the right declension re guarding lance's hair too.
 
nooooooo there are no more starters nor a pokemon like Pikachu in Jotho so if Kotone appers will be a second rate character like Wally so nah don't like the idea

To simply say "LOL ALL STARTERS ARE TAKEN, THEY CAN'T DO ANYTHING ELSE!!!1" is wrong...because...look at Yellow....

She got a pokedex... she didn't have an official starter...He first pokemon was a rattata.

Yeah, look at Wally, his starter was a Kecleon, and he unleashed Rayquaza (shame we haven't seen him since)



Let's hope Wally returns in Hg/Ss!!!

Yeah you know that even if you say that let me make it clear:
Red=Poliwhirl
Green=Scyther
Blue=Jigglypuff
Yellow=Ratata
Gold=Aipom
Silver=Sneseal
Crystal=Smochum
Ruby=Skitty,Pochiana,Ralts
Sapphire=Aroon
Emerald=Sceptile
Diamond=Munchlax
Pearl=Chatot
Platina=Ponyta

See the only one who first pokemon was a starter was Emerald and Pikachu is a Starter play the Yellow version and you see
 
Ladies and gents... technically any Pokémon could be a starter in the manga. Don't get yer panties in a wad over this. Kotone could easily have some other Johto-based Pokémon that another protagonist doesn't have. Pidgey, Sentret, Hoothoot, for a start....

Heck, my main OC had a Gastly as her starter, and I have her based out of the manga's canon. *brow arch*
