Although I'll wait to do more unless NurseBarbra's looks pretty good.

Well I don't want to make emblems for an event I'm not even hosting so I'll just discard that emblem. x_x Unless you want me to make more Speedhacking emblems and keep the current 1st Place one.

Whether you won or not, you participated in the Get-Together 8 2011's Speedhacking Competition. Thank your for joining, and hopefully you might come back next time!

The PokéCommunity Get-Together 8

Pokémon Speed Hacking Event

Hosted by Destiny Demon and NurseBarbra.

Pokémon ROM hacking has been a popular hobby since, well, Pokémon came out! Made famous by hacks like Mewthree9000's Chaos Black, Linkandzelda's Liquid Crystal, Serg!o's Naranja, etc. Now Pokécommunity holds the largest community of ROM Hackers for Pokémon, and we have a fun way to contest your abilities!

We present to you... The Pokémon Speed Hacking Event contest! In this competition, you will create a hack in
four days. This can be challenging, yet quite intriguing! I, Destiny Demon, and NurseBarbra wish all the contestants good luck on making your Speedhack.

Schedule

July 15-18 - Make your Speedhack
July 19th-22nd - Testing & Judging days
July 23rd - The results are in!

Rules

- Must have a good game-play time (minimum of 30 minutes)
- Must be made in four days
- No more than three people working together
- Don't steal hacks
- Use the following format to sumbit your Speedhack

Submission Format

Hacker(s):
ROM Base:
Title of Hack:
Storyline Plot:
Credits:

(Attach IPS file please)

Judging

Along with me and NurseBarbra, we will have two additional guest judged to help test out and judge the hacks. They will be Winter Wonderland and Team Fail. Please note the criteria we will be using for judging (all out of ten points):
Mapping
Scripting
Originality

Final Notes

The ROM Base is suggested to be a Gen. III format, but other generation ROMs may be used, as long as it is finished in the span of four days. Spin-off games aren't allowed in this Speedhacking contest.

There will be a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place emblem provided. All participants regardless of if they won or not will receive an emblem for participating in this event.

In the end we will make an archive of all the Speedhacks for others to play outside of the Get-Together forum.

As a mild suggestion, what about...

"Congrats! Your Speedhack got runner-up at the 2011 Get-Together's Speedhacking Contest!"

instead of

"Congrats! Your Speedhack got second place at the 2011 Get-Together's Speedhacking Contest!"
Done. Hopefully our event gets approved. x.x

Someone asked if 386 hacks are allowed for the Speedhack event. Should they be? If they're allowed, I still think they should be judged the same way every other hack will be judged.

Well aslong as they're modified so it's not just kanto or hoenn all over again they can be counted.

They aren't really any different, because all it is, is different Wild Pokemon and maybe some new OWs. I don't think they should count, because anyone could easily do them. It's just changing where Pokemon appear, and making sure that all of them are in the game at one point or another. Unless it is a 386 hack of a hack.
But changing a hack is against the rules, what I ment was They make a hack but the 386 should be a feature not the basis of it.
