Pokemon Sprite Editing Help

Hi guys can you please tell me what i am doing wrong here? I am currently hacking Pokemon Emerald Version and i need help changing the pokemon Box Sprites to there new species. As you can see it says Spearow where it should say Starraptor and the spearow icon is still there even the image is not. How can i update the sprite so it matches the new Pokemon. The same goes for all of the other pokemon in my box. I used Advanced Pokemon Sprite Editor Icon to edit the images of the sprites.

ya i don't understand why it is not overwriting the pc sprite. it is probably something really obvious that i am missing.
