I have a quick question. Does/will the storyline for Pokemon ever end? I'm interested in seeing Ash actually progress further.

    Thanks.

I'm guessing it will end with him finally fulfilling his dream and becoming a Pokemon master. I'm sure it'll be a while though...I would like to see him progress further as well.

Yup, its just that he doesn't necessarily seem to be getting all that much better. Though I'm sure he is improving, he is he doesn't seem to be getting any closer to becoming a pokemon master.

Other than Pikachu, I guess Ash never reuses his old pokemon much from previous seasons (why is that?)...probably why they aren't that strong yet. Just kinda sad to see Ash more or less the same. I want an end >_<

According to Bulbagarden forums Sinnoh is his last quest now Cynthia has been introduced He will beat her at the end of Sinnoh. I personally don't believe this but its possible...

I seriously doubt it, as far as there will be games with new regions, there will be an anime to follow it. They might finish the Ash storyline but I seriously doubt they'll finish the anime.

I doubt the anime will end. o_O;; But, I am sure they will have more episodes after Sinnohs over with

Actually, it would be nice if they followed the Manga storyline xD

They may drop Ash and Pikachu from the anime, and use a charecter like Richie or start over again.

They should use harrison his more mature and level headed.

I agree more than 550 episodes is too much for an anime, but they don't need to stop it. Just start a different storyline would be good, maybe make it a bit more grown up, for the veterans who started watching it when it first appeared.

Yes! They should drop the Saturday morning cartoon predictability(of most episodes) and begin a series focused on mature (while not necessarily adult) themes. Pokémon has always been about just cause, equality and things of that nature. It wouldn't have to lose its heart to become a more complex show. For instance, there could be a plot focusing on the unjust act or corprate companies testing products on defenseless pokémon. And it would be nice to see the characters have goals other than wanting to become a 'master trainer.'

I don't think that would happen because Pokemon's main target is always going to be children so I guessing they will use children in the Anime, wheter that is Ash and Co or a new team is a diffrent matter of course.

Yeah, but we were when we first got into Pokemon, well most of us

Well, the anime's there to promote the games. It just follows the game's storyline. So, until the games storyline changes...

That's true. But I was just proposing the possibility of a seperate series for the pokéveterans interested in a story that goes a different direction than the current animé.

    I can't see that happening.

Not that I wouldn't like it to.

My guess is that Pokemon won't end anytime real soon.
I've sorta figured that after D/P ends, there'll be a couple more 'worlds' after that, that Ash will go through.
Granted, I'd really like to see a different main character eventually. Not that I dislike Ash, he's one of my favorite
characters, but I think it'd be neat if they used someone else.

    >>; It'd be neat if they used Yuuki. 8D

However, I can't see them doing that either..

    (( err..'Yuuki' is Brendan. ))

I'd really like to see more from Jimmie and Marina, Pokemon Chronicles - Legend Of Thunder :D

he Comet blazed across the sky, shining like a beacon of
hope to the pokemon watching. The pokemon rescue team army marched
onward, knowing that this comet was unique. It was the Millennium comet,
last seen when humans still had walked the earth. That had all changed that
one fateful day. Only the Legend pokemon remembered such times, all others
pokemon dead or too old to remember. But one pokemon had remembered
these times. Gifted by the blessing of a ninetails and Jirachi 1000 years ago,
he'd have life as long as the Ritual was performed. The Full Moon before and
after Jirachi awakens from slumber would be when the ceremony would be
done, replenishing the Ritual taker's memory, and strength,
and power based on his kind heart. But this time, even the Ritual
might not save him from what might be the end of Pokemon life as well, for
    the army couldn't last forever
