I know all will have questions between now and when they actually come out since I have a few myself, so I started this thread:

    1. Any one know an actual release date for these 2?
    2. Are these going to be an EShop download or an actual game cartridge?
    3. Is Diancie, Hoopa and Valcanion going to make an appearance for the first time in these games?

Any other questions? I know we all have them.

    1. The actual release date is not known, but it's probably going to be between October and December.
    2. Given 6th Gen's main games were both released in digital and physical, I'm assuming these will be available for download.
    3. That is not known at this point.

Some more, after the news release on 2 / 26 /16, there was a pokemon XYZ episode on TOON that showed a new pokemon called "Squishy", will it be one for the Sun and Moon since Z is not coming out now?

This thread is going to be filled with a lot of "we don't know" and "probably" responses for a while, I think.

I'm not entirely sure if Zygarde Core will be an available Pokemon or not...possibly. Cells almost certainly won't be, because they can't use any moves. Cores have never been shown using moves in the anime as they are at the moment (correct me if I'm wrong on that) but that doesn't mean they can't. I think it's a pretty safe bet we'll get the 10% form and the Perfect form, but the Cores? I wouldn't be so sure.

As Meloetta said, we really don't know that much information atm. It's been only the reveal trailer I believe at this point, and a whole lot of speculation.

There really should have been more info from that 6 minute video steam than there was in my opinion.

I don't think you'll get any arguments there. But then, they need to spread their pre-release information over at least six months - more likely seven or eight - and Game Freak have always been fairly secretive about their new Pokemon titles, so it's not surprising all we have to go on are a few pieces of concept art and screenshots that were shown in the trailer. Those may not even be valid sources either, because we don't even know if they relate to Sun and Moon or not; they could just be early designs that aren't even used in the final product. Time shall tell.

I don't like to know alot about the new games coming out, but this is really hidden, I mean I hear talks, not really, but from the net that the top ones will be Solrock and Lunatone, can't imagine that though, but the only thing that was told is that they will be released on Holiday 2016.

Holiday 2016 is pretty much the only solid information we have on the games at this point (other than their names and platform, of course) so I wouldn't give any serious weight to what you read on the internet, be that on here or elsewhere, no matter how persuasive or compelling or "credible" it is. It's all hearsay and speculation.

    1) When will it be released? They have only stated Holiday/Winter 2016. This is from Late October to End of December. There has been no solid date given as of yet.

    2) Eshop or Physical? All main titles get physical releases, seeing as this is going to be a main title, I don't see why it wouldn't get an physical release and either at the same time or shortly after, get a digital release.

    3) Diance, Hoopa, Volcannion: Like every other Mythic/Event Legend, pretty much no. They are event exclusive and by the time Sun/Moon releases all three of these will have been released on XY/ORAS. Maybe much later down the line, like when Gen 6 needs a remake, we may see them get the Deoxys treatment and added in as a post game story where you get a chance to catch them. Other wise, I don't believe we'll see them again until GF releases an event to download them.

    4) Squishy: Squishy is Zygard, or a part of Zygard to be exact. It is not a new Pokemon, in fact sources have said that it is not a Pokemon at all. Zygard's Core (Squishy) and Zygard's Cells aren't considered Pokemon, but when they combine, they create Zygard 10% (the doberman), Zygard 50% (the snake we know), and Zygard 100% (A gundam looking humanoid like Zygard). As far as we know, Zygard's Core, Cells, 10% Forme, and 100% Forme as well as Ash's Greninja are Anime exclusive. Not much reason to assume that they'll add them into Sun/Moon since the two major aspects for it aren't Pokemon but are required to be there for the form change to work. Their Form change also isn't very game friendly without needing to recton in a new control device, similar to Kyurem's control device or Deoxys' meteor. Bottom line concerning this topic however is personal opinions. We have no information on whether they could or could not appear. There is mild conflicting information.

Beyond Sun and Moon's name, we know nothing. They literally only gave us the name and a vague release. More info is going to appear as it gets closer and everything other than these two facts are pretty much all fan speculation. One thing we've deduced is a new Bird Pokemon that doesn't match any existing birds thus far. Some are jumping into the "based on Hawaii" bandwagon due to some very convincing evidence from concept art shown. Neither of these two have been officially cleared however. GF could always come and say that the bird was a beta design that didn't make it to end product and give us a reason for coloring the vehicles while basing the region off of a completely different place than speculated.

    tl;dr we know basically nothing

    1. We don't know yet, but I'm hoping it'll be out in October-November like the gen 6 games were.

    2. Like most other 3DS games, I'm sure they'll be for both.

    3. Diancie and Hoopa have already been released through events in X/Y/OR/AS and I can imagine a Volcanion event to be released to those games shortly before Sun/Moon comes out. Maybe transferring Volcanion and the other two mythicals to Sun/Moon will unlock some in-game events the same way transferring Celebi and the shiny legendary beasts from HG/SS to B/W unlocked Zorua and Zoroark respectively.

    4. If the theory that Sun/Moon will let you return to Kalos turns out to be true, then I'm sure Zygarde's other forms will play a role in those games, unless they turn out to be anime exclusive like Xander said.
