Pokemon TCG Tournament

Looking for adult (18+) Pokemon TCG players in the Southern California area. Planning an intimate tournament (either 8 or 16) players that are serious players and interested in taking part in tournaments with the same group on a regular basis.

We would have fun with this as we would have a tournament board, refreshments and a hostess (dressed as your favorite Pokemon trainer).

Why just 18+? o.o You'd probably get more people interested if it was open to everyone.

Probably trying to avoid having the tournament be a place where parents dump their kids at. A Pokemon TCG tournament or event of any kind simply should not be treated as a daycare. And probably trying to limit it to older cards from the Wizards of the Coast era.

Hmm, maybe! Most of the players at the leagues I've been to were teenagers, so the older teens and adults have a lot more people to play with if they just play with everybody. Base-Jungle-Fossil-Rocket and other WotC formats are pretty fun though!
